LiSA、葉月さんが笑顔で楽しそう
好きなバンドです！
好きなギタリストはヴィトブラッタなんですが、
メロディーに沿ったギター、ボーカルの邪魔にならいように合間で早弾きやトリッキーなことしてるところが凄く似てて大好感です。
EOE.NMP.等売れてるバンドは色々有るがオジサンにはKOIAIの音作りが一番嵌まっています。パープルやツェッペリンを聴いて育った世代にはメロディーラインがしっかりしたハードロックが心地良い。
40.50代より上世代のおじさんに刺さりまくるのは分かる！自分もそうだから。めちゃくちゃカッコいい。
観衆もほぼその年代っぽいな…。
もっと若い世代にもウケて欲しい！イチ推しバンドなんだけどな。
ギターの音作りが80年代アメリカンハードロックぽいよね。
Been watching Kanade play the drums since she was about 6 years old . Now she's only about 22 . I think her future will still be growing. 😎
わかざえもんと奏ドラムの音がすごくいい感じ。
このバンド1ヶ月程前に知ったんだけど、メンツがすごいのと、メタルに走るガールズバンドの中にあってキャッチーな中にハードロック路線を組み込んだサウンドが心に刺さったバンドです。葉月さんネモフィラだけでなく、このバンドも成功させて下さい。これから応援させてもらいます。
こういうの良いわ！！日本には珍しいよね。女性バンドとなると、とにかく、意外性かセクシャリティを全面に押し出すのが多くて、食傷気味だったけど、メンツは言わずもがな。素晴らしい😂

Lisa X and Kanade Sato are already well known since their are 12 years of age. I regard both of them are the best in their respective line. It's fitting that Hazuki plays from a different perspective, i like it. Kotono has angelic voice, Wakazaemon shows her professionalism. Keep on rockin'
Marty Friedman, East of Eden, Koiai, when Wakazaemon appears on bass you know you're with a top band! Absolutely cool young bass player girl.
She is incredible… if you like Waka/ same here/ and never heard it just take a gander at Misaka- Tamu -Waka - Wherever you are - such incredible cover and brilliant Waka’s bass line… i love it
I've been following Waka since 2019.
First saw her on youtube in an OK Rock cover of "Wherever you are" with Tamu Murata (Nemophila) and Misaki (Special Thank's).
It's fun to see how she continues to develop her style and career.
Something very special , she is a left-handed bass player just like me.

Ich bin auch der Meinung, daß es Zeit wird für ein paar japanische Bands auf deutschen Bühnen zu stehen.

I hear great new music coming out recently in Europe from Opeth, Nightwish, Jinjer, etc. Europe has great new music and they still blow the doors off of these Japanese bands when it comes to vocalists and songwriting.

What a great lineup! 👋👍😃Lisa-X and Hazuki just great guitar players, Kanade as a world class jazz drummer also rocking so well (perfect in the pocket) and to my surprise Wakazaemon playing bass - great! This could be really a great rock band - but I fear that they all are in other projects so busy (Nemophila, Muses, East of Eden etc. etc.) that Koiai is just some sort of a "side project". We will see.🤔😄👍👍👍
特に奏さんは、他のプロジェクトよりKOIAIの方がマッチしているように、私は思います。
I'm friends with Kanade's dad, and keep emphasizing that point to him, as other Japanese musician friends are playing in so many bands, jumping about constantly. I wish there were a two-band limit or something! For example Senri Kawaguchi with just 'The Jazz Avengers' and 'KIYO*SEN', etc. Not that Senri really needs the attention, but the rest would get more attention and get more noticed, more quickly worldwide.
Kanade plays a full spectrum of music, so it is not accurate to characterize her just as a "jazz drummer". Kanade is an active member with more than one band and also works as a session musician. Like all the members of KOIAI (and their guest bassist in this video) Kanade is a very accomplished musician.

皆上手すぎる位上手いんだけど、ドラムの心地よさは技術を超えた天性の音のセンスなんだろう。この洒脱で知的なドラム、昔聴いたことがあると記憶を辿ると、フュージョン、クロスオーバー全盛期のバンドSTUFFのドラマー、クリス・パーカーやスティーブ・ガットの音だ。本当に佐藤さんは子供の時から円熟した巨匠みたいな演奏をする。

Just superb. A great tune, quite traditional western-style pop-rock but delivered with style. And Lisa's guitar solo is brilliant. Very musical, technically brilliant. Awesome, I love it.

I hope so! I'm friends with Kanade's dad, and met them (with another band she was in, with Juna Serita) in London in 2019, and have been hoping Kanade would get somewhere. Looks like things are going well for her and the rest of KOIAI!

Bands that stay together are usually family members ; or started together in High school or before that. Rina Suzuki's 15th birthday was Scandal's first practice session. They have been performing together for 18 years.

I've been following Li-Sa-X since she was 8 years old. This truly is a super group. All world-class Godzilla level musicians. They could have played this song blindfolded, standing on their heads, arms tied behind their backs, while chewing bubble gum. They need to unleash their potential and explore the limits of their abilities. God gave all of them talents that they have honed to a razor-sharp edge. Their not showing us that edge with this song.

I told people not to underestimate Kotono. Not a typical Japanese vocal. I don't know a single person who would not go see this show if they could. This band really sounds well practiced already.
She has extremely pleasant voice and hits the right notes. There are just two slight problems: Even if she doesn't want to, she is the "lodestar" of the band and thus she should be more outgoing and flirty with the audiences (but that is of course possible to fix) and secondly she has both pop-like voice and also style of singing and the band is very hard rock oriented, so I see a slight problem there... even though I myself am perfectly fine with her vocal performances - I like merges of different styles.
@@marklar9156 I don't necessarily want to see sexualized performance ... and her voice in the mix is what makes it different. Squeaky high-pitched vocals are the norm in Japan for female rock vocalists. Kotono has a nice balance to her voice and I think it works well for this.
@@PANIC_aka_PinD For fcks sake! :( I wasn't even remotely suggesting her performance should be anyway "sexier" but just she would encourage the audience to get more involved and generally be more the frontwoman she is!. And I totally agreed on her voice and style suiting this music (I was referring that there may be "purists" that don't like it) and you mention like I wouldn't and you get the likes and I don't??? Not that I wouldn't be very used to that crap: at "best" I once published one rather clever line in one YT-discussion and got one(!) like. Later someone had the same idea (probably wasn't copying from me) and got something around 2000 likes. What F. ever.

This is superbly played rock. You are speechless at the top quality musicians they bring together in Tokyo. This music is not as hard as heavy metal and therefore probably finds a wider audience in Japanese society. It's not my taste on record, but I'm thrilled by the live version. Very good and very beautiful.
