One thing I love about the Japanese female musicians is how seamlessly they can move into other genres effortlessly and the support that have for each others bands.
Just wait till the next song they release from this concert. But I am impressed they write songs like this too. It’s funny how varied it is. Love them. A supergroup of biblical proportions
I love this band. Instrumental virtuosos who are all about the music and having fun with it, and not themselves, much like Band-Maid. Once Kotono truly finds herself and develops a stronger stage presence (and I love her jazzy/poppy vocals), they should take off. Holy crap, Wave, I wrote my comment before finishing watching your reaction, and we virtually said the same thing, lol!
Hi from France: Both songs are taken from the same concert and the same DVD... 'One Way or Another' and 'New Picture' come from the mini CD 'Deep Love';
They can thank Nelson (aka Power Tool) for the great guitar riff. Sounds pretty similar to "Two Heads are Better Than One" from the Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure soundtrack. ua-cam.com/video/tuzC_hjWU5Y/v-deo.html
Have a listen to Queens Hammer to Fall, they mixed that with ACDC , but result this resultant riff is not "legally actionable" , and this a song is a great crossover to US pop ala Belinda Carlisle chorus with J pop chant built in , 2 contrasting , beautifully presented solos. A piece of pop-art genius in my books. Yeah they vary styles , but that's what makes them interesting to me. These girls deserve huge success worldwide .
The bassist who joined us for help is barely visible in this video, but he appears with Marty here. Is the translation correct? ua-cam.com/video/aO8uTr-F448/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Za4o4jOVRfA/v-deo.html
Sorry. the translation is not correct. She, her stage name is Wakazaemon, is a famous session bassist. She played with KOIAI as a live musician. Since KOIAI has no official bassist and Wakazaemon doesn't belong to any other band, many KOIAI fans including me hope her to join KOIAI as official member.

I can hear Van Halen all over this song. This band will never end to surprise us while remaining true to their sound.
Yes, more VH in their most pop side than AC/DC
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of music they'll come up with in the future, regardless of their style.

KOIAI, proving beyond doubt that there is still room for kickass guitars in pop songs.

Imagine being a bunch of kids just old enough to drink and already being a supergroup. They are one of the most exciting bands out there.
Super catchy tune. I like it!

"One Way or Another" by Blondie - totally different, but the drum and riff does remind me of ACDC. Nice song.

Love this band! Love that these Japanese bands do not always stick to one genre and often have 2 or 3 genres in their songs.
Самая лучшая группа в мире ❤❤❤

It has that older sound to it and would not have sounded out of place if it had been played by someone like Vixen or Lita Ford.
Solo is pure Van Halen .
I can hear acdc's highway to hell and def leppard's photograph (riff after chorus)..
It's an original song on their "Deep Love" EP
I never thought AC/DC when I listened to this.
2:32 Purrfect!
《straight to my heart》it's my favorite song in this E.P, followed by 《a new picture》. It's a pity that they didn't play this song in this live show…
They played it, it's the 4th song and it's awesome like the rest of the Blu-ray.
Just like Aldious, they do any kind of song they want to and the gatekeepers be damned.
how about the song "a new picture" from them ???
He reacted to it a day or two ago.
Warren de martini 🎸
"give me, give me, give me fried chicken!"
