I agree with Moff on this. Having the power also means having the responsibility. If you're using up her time to have children and you don't like her that much as a romantic partner, do both of yourselves a favor and let her go. Just because you're red pilled doesn't mean you should willingly go along with things that harm others.

I agree with Rich on this one. No matter how you slice it, it's not a man's job to police a woman’s mortality. Nope, they don't get a pass on this one. Women overwhelmingly will tell you what they will and will not tolerate, but their actions and what they respond to exhibit differently. A man who would commit eagerly would be discarded by these same women. They want him because he's not easy to obtain. That's the whole point.
It's actually the father's / brother's job to do that. It is evident in eastern cultures.

I think this is one of the better convo's on this topic. In regards to living together: Rich, check the laws in US, since a big chunk of the audience is in the US. I live in a liberal controlled state, with the third largest city in the US, and common-law marriage hasn't been recognized here since 1905, and state supreme court reaffirmed in 2016 that unmarried partners have NO rights to the other partner's property if the couple breaks up. In fact, a quick google search showcases that only 8 states + DC have "commonlaw." So for most of the US, it's a total non-issue, legally speaking. And my take as to why a man would want to live with a woman is simple: more sex, more home-cooking, and more emotional security. OBVIOUSLY, you will not get all/any of this with a bad woman. Also obviously, if said man isn't craving more of those things or whatever - then don't live together, the choice is always yours to make as the gatekeeper of the relationship. But the narrative of how it's "never worth it" that's been touted for a while is not objective truth........... if you're with a good woman. And yes, there are still some good ones around. And if they somehow turn bad after a few years or whatever, just leave. Rinse and repeat.
The question becomes will the non common law state recognize a common law marriage from another state or Canada?

"where do we stand" - is a question that is expecting an answer of commitment, and many times an unconditional commitment. Her main objective is security . . .
giving her the commitment if you are not her first option "all the time", will only result in her taking 1/2 of your stuff.
I am with Rich on this one - the question should be "Where do we Stand right now at this exact moment" . . . because the location will change and so should should the definition of the relationship.
I've never been one to have multiple girls at the same time... too much of a headache and you cannot fully invest in a single lady (which is what they desire). It would be a true red flag if the girl is accepting of you saying that you are not exclusive. Always keep your eyes open and get out when your gut is telling you to leave and not look back
I believe it is different with older women. They have cats, dogs and sex is distant memory for most. Older women usually have money from pensions or divorce. Most just give up on dating

if you are honest with yourself not many relationships are positive, as men we are like most animals we plant the seed and leave. not meant to be around a woman long term, that is a true social construct.
There’s a morality/ethics angle to this, but there are also a couple of practical ones: 1.) why complicate one’s life by having more than one woman in it for any longer than is necessary to determine if she’s a keeper?; 2.) in my experience, the types of women who were ok with being one among a few plates had personality traits that I wasn’t cool with long-term. Among other things, they lacked a sense of self.
And most of them are promiscuous, they have adventures with other guys that's why they don't care.

What about a scenario where its not stepping out and she's waiting on me when I get back, but bringing someone into our lives that enrich it for both of us. Easy example is if she has an interest in women as well and we bring someone in that she can also develop a romantic relationship with. That way I get the additional connections I'm looking for and the 2 ladies get a whole host of benefits from being in that arrangement (a friend, a rival, and a lover)...or is all that crazy talk and never gonna happen that way?!? Of course all of that is underpinned by my ability to provide the safety and protection for both of them...rare ability indeed, but this is philosophical land right?

Very simple guys.. The only women accepting of a man stepping out in a marriage or LTR is a woman who is also stepping out.
What is she suitable for? That's a question a man has to answer. She can assert it but you have agency to decide that and you should never let a lady bully you into something you know very well she's not suitable for. A lady can go from suitable to unsuitable as well. Bait and switch happens all the time as most ladies are more loyal to their feeling than commitment and duty they signed up for prior. It's just the way it is.
Suppose you determine a lady is suitable as a mother in the family you are creating to create kids. She may graduate to a grandparent which is asking much less of her but suitable for continued commitment and financial support (after your done providing for kids you've raised and not asking that of her and justifying your financial support that way). She may switch on you. Suitability is why you get a prenup (a lady can make herself unsuitable fast if she desires a different arrangement).
If you determine what a lady is suitable for from the start, you know where you stand. You may decide along the way if she's suitable for something else and that's where you stand. "Where do we stand" is not really a 'we' question. It's really her putting you on the spot to coerce you into changing your mind about what you think she's suitable for that benefits her (not you). This is where you can 'bargain' or 'stand your ground' (aka: bargain meaning you asserting for what she would have to do to justify changing "where you stand".... you have to exact a price and consider if she's "really" suitable for that duty as most ladies usually aren't).
Regardless, you'll save yourself a lot of trouble if you, as my father used to say, "don't take in strays". Never move them in unless there's kids involved (these conversations are trivial when she's not sharing a home with you).
The "short version" is "men are the gatekeepers of commitment". Be a good gate keeper. Don't get entangled in ways that imply some greater commitment you know she's not suitable for (as you're baiting her and there is no 'prize' for her coming).
