    Has anyone done any similar builds? Would love to see them.

      I built a single unit over twenty years ago that I still use daily, I put 1meg pulled own resistors on the grounds to prevent pops. I want to build a bigger unit like you’ve done, do get any pops? Nice build btw.

    Interesting build. I will definitely try something similar. But instead of 5 loops for one signal path, i'm probably going to split it in two. So i can have loops 1-3 in front of the amp and loops 4-5 in the amp fx loop. Basically the same thing, but just extra in and out.

    • @DogsharkGPS
      @DogsharkGPS  Рік тому

      If you make it another switched loop you’ll be able switch the entire fx loop in and out

    How much did this cost you to build? I'm thinking of building one for myself

    Hey mate, nice Video! Thanks for that. But I have a question about it. Are the send and return jacks those out of metal, which are directly connected to ground, in this case to the metal housing? Or didn’t you connect those to ground, as the pedals have a ground connection by there power supply to avoid ground loops? And did you connect the housing to ground as well? Thanks a lot!! 👍

    • @DogsharkGPS
      @DogsharkGPS  Рік тому

      Yeah I used metal jacks so the chassis effectively becomes a ground plane so no need for extra grounds between jacks. If I was using moulded jacks then it would need that.

    Hi there! congrats for this device! I got a question! If you have everything set and you have to change from the loop 1 to the loop 5, will you have to step two times (1st to turn on loop 5 and 1nd to turn off loop 1 - meaning they are latched), or the next change cancel the previous selected loop? Thanks!

    • @DogsharkGPS
      @DogsharkGPS  Рік тому +1

      This isn't a programmable looper. Each loop is independently switched. So yes you would need to switch out a loop if you didn't want it engaged when another loop was switched in.

    Is-it possible to use a switch looper to connect 2 or more pedals in parallel ? Many switchers allow from 2 to 8 loops, like the Joyo PXL8 or this one fr.aliexpress.com/item/4000348833245.html?spm=a2g0o which allows 3 loops, but I am not sure that putting pedals in parallel work because I tried to do it with 2 pedals simply using cables and Vintage EHX 5X Junction Mixers but it doesn't work, sound is horrible probably because of connecting pedals outputs in parallel I think. So is this thing: www.thomann.de/fr/electro_harmonix_tri_parallel_mixer.htm the only one possible to use for parallel connections, because it is a mixer in fact... ? What do you think about it ?
