Constructive criticism, if this cave were inhabited those rocks would be covered over with things like cat tail stalks and pelts so there could be a place to sleep. If one sleeps on that gravel bare ... or rather tries to ... they would be in no condition to hunt tomorrow, which means not enough food for celebratory parties that result in the story telling that results in cave paining.
The gravel being uncovered would be the result of the cave being an ancient archeological find where the bedding has decomposed. It's like finding pyramids cracked worn and warped while ancient Egyptians are still living in the city built around it. Even though if they were still there they would clean and repair it.

Thanks for the feedback. I hear what you're saying, I did think about adding few more elements but as it's a small space I didn't want to overcrowd the image and thought I'd leave it to the imagination. Perhaps you are viewing it from the sleeping area? I do have another version planned where you will see more of a homely setting though.
