I play the King's Gambit in 8/10 games. I have actually studied the Falkbeer and I am very comfortable playing against it. The vast majority of players accept it, though.
Yeah. . . and as white, I'm outside of what's presented here after move 4, sitting at a +0.7. 90 percent of the people here would still beat me, because I'd blunder something eventually! :D But it wouldn't be against anything shown here. Great video though!
He can simply play knightf3 on move 3. If you take the pawn on f4 he take your pawn on d5. If you take the pawn on e4 he take your pawn on e5 with the knight.
Hi from Italy. Just as you ask it, Ernst Falkbeer was austrian but born in Brno. I repeat: "born in Brno", it's not a joke. So in "Falk-" the A is promounced like in America. In "-beer" the double E is like in the french-style word "née"=maiden name. EDIT: 8:15 I like a lot the way you say "it's over! It's finished!" It gives the real sensation of a lost game.
4:40 I'm 700-800 rates on blitz & rapid and I found the rook the move! It just a pure guess though:D I have no idea on the continuation though. I think I have a pretty good chess potential ceiling, because I find alot of these gm sac moves chess UA-camr's make the watcher's try to find. Usually I find the continuation too. Of course it's different in actual games than in games you're spectating or puzzles, but I sometimes find pretty good moves in games too. (I have get some brilliants semi regulalrly.) Edit: It could be capture with the bishop too! I didn't even realize the bishop could capture, but that's of course the worse move for white:D Also at 4:51 you say "What if rook takes?" when you meant "What if queen takes?".
I love countergambits sometimes because of the plethora of various pitfalls players walk into. Another thing I keep noticing is how often players waste early game tempi going for greed and end up lagging woefully behind in development, it's small wonder how checkmates and resignations in single digit numbers of moves occur.
Sunglasses, bald head, 1-week beard = TOTALLY BADASS. But the pink t-shirt totally checkmates your badass look. Try a black t-shirt, with your cool chessscape logo.
This man makes opening theory both practical and interesting
I try... 😍

Instructions unclear, I sacrifice the king with the kings gambit.
The real puzzle is actually finding a person that plays kings gambit
This is surprisingly common in the lower levels around 1000
yeah also playing e5 on e4 is just asking for 10 different openings you need to know tbh
2:25 you didnt explain what if white play d3 instead of a horse c3 that happened to me and I didn't know what to do
This guy us so excited he frequently called the olening the King's Indian 😊
This is my first time seeing chessscape ngl
you missed a lot of good videos than :)
You are amazing! Thank you very much! You have an excelent didactic!

Chessscape I think you should try to make videos about your own chess matches and analyse them for us. It might be useful (helpful).
sure! good idea 👊🏻
You are my favorite chess channel ❤
Thank you very much for the advice
welcome !
what's your rating if you don't mind me asking
Could you kindly make a video of how to play best without queen, when the opponent still has his.

I like playing the king's gambit declined, sactificial variation.
Nice video, I like the Falkbeer. Some authors recommend after 3. exd5 e5xf4 instead of e4. Both moves are equally good, it is a question of taste.
At 6.36 after Kd7, white can just castle long right?
Man i started school today and it's boring asf, but my day changed when chesscape uploaded video 😂
i have to agree here with you :)
"Devil-up your pieces" 🐴😅
Hi Ryad. I love your videos. God chess and well explained and really entertaining. Good teacher. Are you in Dubai?
I almost always beat the king's gambit
Idk why but I started watching the queens gambit and I’m seeing the kings gambit a lot
12:01 what happened to queen takes e4 continuation?
I get it: if black plays the best moves and white plays the weakest moves black wins . Who could have known …
I always check your channel everyday to see if you upload a new video
thank you for your support 🥰
now to find a person who actually plays the kings gambit
yes problem is finding them
Here I am
man i play queen gambit
Nicely done!

Alt title: Mr worldwide teaches chess.
Such a good video
Your very entertaining
You said "King's Indian" instead of "King's Gambit"... 😅 Multiple times...
thats because i played the kings indian for many years 😅
@@chessscape it makes sense 😅
This was incredible.
thank you 😎
First time I seen this guys face
Why is he always saying the kings indian when it is the kings gambit?
King's gambit players after all people decline the gambit: 😢😭
Yeah and what if my opponent doesn’t play these exact moves
we adapt. hard to cover all possible moves in 10 min 😅
Now i be will god when i use des falkbeer
I don't know why most of my opponent plays pawn f5 instead.
f5 is not good :)
How can you see the board with those glasses on? Think about what your rating would be if you didn't wear them.
Damn that’s pretty nice
thanks!
Ican win chess now
4:52 that's queen not rook
It feels so wrong when i hear his voice and look at his face at the same time
