    I've been playing through classical King's Gambit games, and playing both side for many years and YOU have carved out new territory in a centuries old opening. Be proud. Again, I can't wait until the next eyeball blasting content! Thanks.

    Wow, another display of tactical fireworks by Masta Kaspa, with comedic patter the entire time. A great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

    That first opponent played an utterly appalling level of chess. How on earth does he have a rating above 2000 and play such dreadful moves?

      If you play good chess, you increase your opponent's chances to blunder.

      Make sure to look at 3.Nc3 too, when d5 4.exd5 transposes to 2...d5 3.exd5 c6 4.Nc3.
      Kaspa likes to neglect the best responses.

      @@marknieuweboer8099that's not always true. If you see a gap in one video, it means I have done a couple of videos on that particular opening topic. E.g. I have many videos on this particular opening response, one of which is linked below:

    I thought Naroditsky prefers the Schallop defense. He has a very long and detailed video on it vs. KG.

    • @kaspachessofficial

      I guess he has many favorites, and this should be one of them.

      @@kaspachessofficial I agree! I took a deep dive into these lines yesterday. The Schallop is a King's Gambit Accepted defense, and it's much more theoretical than this one. This one is more intuitive for someone at my level.

    How can F4xE5 possibly be the top played move in the Lichess database? It’s such a basic error that everyone who plays the king’s gambit surely must know

  • @JulianIrving
    @JulianIrving 4 місяці тому

    It’s not in the least bit educational to watch a game where a player simply hangs material like when he left his F3 knight en prix. Utterly bewildering

  • @JulianIrving
    @JulianIrving 4 місяці тому

    Sorry Kaspa. Just a note for you. I often hear you saying that a certain player is down a full piece when in fact they are down a whole rook. We don’t say a player is down a piece. Down a piece is when a player is down by either a bishop or a knight. If a player is down a rook then we say a player is down a rook

    • @pangeagamestudios
      @pangeagamestudios 4 місяці тому

      Rook is a piece

    • @JulianIrving
      @JulianIrving 4 місяці тому

      Yes but to differentiate between being a bishop or knight down with a value of 3 points and being a rook down with a value of 5 points then one must specify that one is a rook down and not a piece down. You clearly don’t understand the deeper meaning behind what I am explaining and just make a very shallow remark

    • @JulianIrving
      @JulianIrving 4 місяці тому

      @@pangeagamestudios I take the trouble to explain my point very carefully with lots of words and you simply reply with A rook is a piece.

      I will work on that next time.
