Climbing The 2nd Flatiron (Freeway)

Eric and Sarah climb Freeway Route (5.0+) on the 2nd Flatiron in Boulder, Colorado on August 16, 2019. If you want to try soloing in the Flatirons, Freeway is a great route! We had a bluebird day and perfect temperatures.
Most of the route lies in the Class 4-5 range, with a few more difficult sections. Climbing shoes were a huge help (extra confidence for trail runners like us!).
