GSXR 600 stutters hard at 14k+ rpm - solved

- I’m thinking that I bought a defective kickstand sensor (in my previous video). But regardless, if you are having issues with your bike stuttering at high RPM’s literally almost throwing you off, I would consider you at least try this.
You may also have the issue of the neutral light (further implying the kickstand sensor).
Cut and splice your kickstand sensor. It’s a minimal cost and you don’t need to buy/remove much anything to try it.
I sought high and low, this was the 2nd thing I tried, after adjusting my clutch cable, and it worked! So crazy.

My quick fix was to cut the wire and splice them together. If you’re having similar issues, this also is an option, or you can replace the kickstand sensor. If that doesn’t solve it, I’d also look into the gear position sensor.
But if you do, I’d go OEM through Partzilla or the like. I bought one off EBay and think it was faulty as well
I have an 09 GSXR-600 it’s so weird because this was happening to me last season at 12k-14k rpms and now this season it’s doing it at 8k rpms can’t even go passed 100mph
I would try to replace the kickstand sensor first. I think the one I bought on eBay may have been defective. If that doesn’t work, then cut and splice the kickstand sensor cables (then connect them together). That’s what I did and it solved that issue.
You’ll just have to be careful when you start the bike because if you’re in 1st gear it’ll still start even if you’re not on it
What did you do to fix it?
Was it a violent cut off or just like a subtle pulsation when at wide open throttle? cause I've experienced the violent cut in first gear but now just recently I can't even go WOT on the freeway to roll race my friends without the bike just stuttering all the way to redline. its like i have to ease into it. I dont know where to start cause ive heard check TPS, kick stand switch, clutch switch, fuel filter and fuel pump. im at the point where i just wanna throw the bike away and get a zx10 lmaoooo

Yea so at 14k (any gear for me) or so when I would go WOT, it would stutter (pulsing) really hard, nearly want to throw me off, but would go faster if I kept pushing it! Didn’t want to blow the engine or a gasket so I tried not to do it often . But anything below 14k or so, the bike rode amazing
The kickstand switch is $100 on revzilla. And is fairly easy to change out. I tried that as my 2nd option (1st was adjust the clutch cable), and the kickstand ended up being the culprit. I ended up just cutting and splicing the wires together (thus bypassing the sensor). And never ended up buying a new sensor. The only thing with leaving it the way I did, is you accidentally start your bike in first here with the kickstand still down.
