I loved this video!! The unboxing and the gaming part!
Thank you!! I loved recording it too! I hope to do more videos like this.
Nice, I got mine and my mind was blown. Nice monitor for the price.
Yesssss the colours 😍
Thank you for this video!
I was just as excited as you were in your video when unboxing. I received mine today and I wish I could have tomorrow off from work so I could enjoy it a bit more. 😅 happy gaming!
Hahaha you could always take a « personal day 🤣 » ! I hope you got to game late last night at least! What are you playing?
That’s a very cool monitor!!!
Morning Everyone! Thanks for watching this morning
This is so epic!!!! I need one now lol
It is sooo cool! I absolutely love it! Talk about a gaming monitor!!
Great unboxing! This is an amazing monitor! How is the resolution scaling? I have a last gen Alienware m17 r5 gaming laptop that I want an external monitor for. It does great at 1440p but not so great at 4K. I’m probably getting a good desktop pc at some point but does it still work and look great at 1440p? I want a 4K monitor for productivity also but I’m debating between this one or the 1440p 360hz qd oled Alienware monitor.
Hello , I received the monitor too and I must say that I am very impressed.
What a slap in the face compared to my old monitor !
The depth of black and the beauty of the colors make me rediscover somes games.
I recommend this purchase 1000 times, I don't see how anyone can be disappointed, apart from the curved side that not everyone possibly likes
But for me it is perfect 👌
It’s soooo beautiful eh. I agree no one will be disappointed with the quality of the screen. Maybe just disappointed with their gaming set up
I like that you didn't go crazy with the "gamer" aesthetic in your room, like RGB everywhere, crazy lights, everything purple and red. Looks clean and organized, I like it.
Thanks for your comment. Since this gaming room is mainly dedicated to work it needs balance between both! Thanks for watching!
@@salesspice Totally understandable. Imagine having your Microsoft Teams meetings and them seeing a disco of lights behind you, haha.
I've been using an Asus ROG monitor (TN panel) for years. Mine comes tomorrow. It's just the reflective coating I'm worried about. Great vid
Exciting!! Did it arrive? I also traditionally always had a matte monitor but when you see the colour and image, it’s outstanding !
Happy Gaming ✨🤩
why you returning the monitor you seems like very excited about getting it like a keeper piece of hardware?
I’ve been hearing that many people experienced scratches on their screen due to packaging, is this still an ongoing issue?
From where did you buy it.. didn't found it in Amazon
Depending on what country you live in I would go to Dell.com
Why in the heck would you buy a 4K 240Hz with a GTX 1080!?! Get your priorities straight lol. I have 4090 with this alienware monitor and it still takes a beating with 13900k
I know hahahaha poor me @alienware
I work for Dell so I get it as a loaner to test it out. Now I am hit with the sad reality lol 😂
Enjoy movies on it 😊@@salesspice
@@salesspicedell need to hook you up with a 4090 :)
logitech 502 hero mouse and logitech keyboard too, good taste!
I ended up returning my new alienware AW3225QF though, sure it was a tiny bit better, compared to first gen OLED, but the biggest difference in quality came from going to 4k from 1440p to me, at that point I'd rather buy a new cooler master GP27U, 4k, high PPI due to 27" and miniled backlight, sure you'll have a tiny bit of bloom and not as good contrast, but it's not as bad as conventional IPS, while also being 50-66% cheaper than current gen OLED monitors, plus no risk of burn in.
As I've lately started playing more and more strategy games and also consume media content on my PC, I tend to have static objects on my screen a lot, I have it for almost 2 years now and no burn-in yet, but the thought of the risk is still always looming.
Yesssss I love the combination and I like how the keyboard is not too loud! I have not used any of the Alienware peripherals yet.
Oh yeah I don’t change monitors often!
Would u say going from 1080p to 1440p is more noticeable than going from 1440p to 4K?
@@xPhantomxify definitely.
the jump from 1440p to 4k is still perceivable, but the jump from 1080p to 1440p feels huge.
If I had to compare it I'd have 2 examples:
First would be going from HDD to SATA SSD, that felt absolutely huge, amazing tech, but then going from SATA SSD to PCIe NVMe SSD was faster sure, still perceivable but less stunning.
Another example would be fps / monitor refresh rates; going from 60 to 100fps/hz feels really big and it becomes so much smoother, going back to 60 really feels slow and unresponsive once you've experienced 100, but going from 100 to 144 I can't even notice / perceive.
You should turn everything to low in WZ, its not big difference in visual quality and you get mutch more fps and better visibility.
I know I was just testing it out to see what it could or couldn’t do! I would love to get my hands on an Alienware PC or laptop 🤩
Did u had scuff marks on screen due to rubbing off...seems mine hve
Hello!
I did not yet! It did come with a polishing cloth though 🤔 are you able to polish them off?
I had the same problem, the protection bubble plastic was pressed against the screen pretty hard during shipping I think, I couldn't really remove all the spots.
I ended up returning it.
Alien? Where?! Only joking! Any signs of early burn in yet and what is your overall feelings on it 3 weeks in? Personal note: Great to see an adult female gamer like yourself for a change doing this kind of content.
I am at Dell world right now! I will try to give you the latest updates in a short 🙃 ! This monitor will make you cry that you didn’t have it sooner. Now I just need a better PC
Can you hook it up with a discount? Thinking of buying one but honestly hate paying full price.
I wish I could 🥲🥲
Check dell for refurbished. I got mine for $800 just like new but double qc😂
@@user-oj6ri5vj6i comes with only 90-day warranty so that sucks, especially for an Oled where you want that three-year burn-in warranty.
A 4070 super is not getting anything higher than 80 to 90fps at 4k native in MW3. I have a 4090 and the i9 14900k with this same monitor and I get about 220 to 230 at 4k no DLS and just native 4k and Ultra settings.
Cool story. Now read some books. Song of Achilles, by Madeline Miller.
why u have 4k monitor and low end gpu.. noone is gaming at 80 fps... it is useless people were gaming with 100 fps minimum in year 1999.
lol 😂 agreed! I would say even with the fps so low the colour is still so incredible but first step I need up upgrade my PC 😍
Do you plan on building a new pc with a 5090 gpu coming out this year??
I would love too! Husband if you are out there, please buy me one for a gift 🤩😅
