@@andrewmorris3479doesn’t make much more sense than the alienware but hope it works well
@@angel23138 It feels like a completely different monitor. It makes sense if you value playing single player games on a more immersive and detailed display.
Im scared to move from a 24" to 27" monitor.
I play fast paced games and I dont want it to affect performance.
i own it and it feels like im cheating i been on the acer 390hz it but man oled the pixels that turn off you dont need backlight strobing pixels turn off amazing screen
@Brand Taylor 8:46 "With all new technologies it will take time for the price to come down" Well that's the thing it ain't a new technology OLED existed for more then 10 years. But yet people speak of it as it's magically new. If people from start even UA-camrs stood their grounds and said hey you guys are chargings premium for old techonology which it is. Yes it might be new to monitors as whole but at the end of the day it ain't new technology hence since people boast it to be new and powerful the nice price tag to it.
i say 480hz oled LG mean its so clear better than any dyac or ulmb 2 on 540hz..
When those coming out
@@Doggiedogedogthis year but end of september.
Should i run it with Display Port 1.4 or HDMI 2.1?
Dp 1.4 is better for more hz for example I am not sure but I think hdmi is cap to 240hz.
Thinking about buying a new oled monitor and have checked these two
ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQDMG OLED QHD 240 Hz
Dell Alienware AW2725DF QHD 360Hz QD-OLED
someone who can help me out and i play alot of fps games sometimes other tooo
Id go with the Alienware hands down if you’re playing fps. It’s the sweet spot for monitors right now
how would you say this compare to the PG27AQDM?
I am with this monitor (pg27aqdm), when i got it i was mind blown, the picture quality, the clarity and the colors are just incredible. But im looking to upgrade to this alienware since it got glossy screen 360HZ and QD-OLED panel rather than matt, which is far better. The matt coating on my monitor is very strong and it looks oily and greasy compare to glossy finish, literally night and day difference. If you're wondering which monitor to buy go for the alienware. Once you get an OLED you can never go back!!
4070 super and a 7800x3d and I get 90 FPS in dragons dogma 2.
it is great, but 480hz version is coming this year :|
480hz is so unnecessary though
@@graybill1776 that is very far from the truth though, it has huge benefits for fast paced games.
It might have diminishing returns but it's not unnecessary. If you're paying this much for a monitor anyway, I'd for sure wait a bit/pay a bit more for 480hz @@graybill1776
@@graybill1776360hz is unnecessary :p
@@HellSpawnRulerOfHellthen 480 it’s even more lol
What about vrr flicker, you noticed any?
yes it has vrr flicker in some cases, mostly loading screens and menus
All OLEDs have VRR flicker in situations where fps is not stable, like menus and loading screens. You cannot prevent it unless you turn off VRR
IF I only had the money... using an ips 1440p 165hz acer Predator monitor ;(
Definitely not superior to IPS LCD, Comparing best available OLED to worst or mid tier LCD screen is not fair at all i have seen in person i just recently bought aw3225qf OLED & compared with my LG Nano IPS 27GP950 immediately i noticed huge difference and realised have taken wrong decision OLED nowhere brighter than LCD, also white point was atrocious everything looks yellowish and washed out i tried RMA but nothing helped i just got used to vivid NANO IPS panel with high brightness. OLED monitors are literally a scam many of them thinks they are getting a best OLED panel in compact size that’s not true just compare it with Father of OLED’s LG C series displays it can get upto more than 1000nits in real scene why do these companies scam consumers and manipulate them by using paid UA-camrs🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️.
have you experienced any eye strain?
none at all and i've bene playing with this monitor non stop
Just for reference this doesn’t have hdmi2.1
Which one is it?
alienware 27 360hz qd-oled
This, zowie 540hz, or the alienware 500hz monitor?
Just a wait on Asus 480hz Oled
But if you don’t care about oled def the zowie 540hz
This is pretty much all you need tbh. There starts to be diminishing returns after 360hz. I tried 500hz and I didn’t play or hit better shots.
@@BTaesthetics thats because yall are focusing on the wrong attributes of the monitor 540hz only has a adavantage over 360hz if 1 the monitor inherently has lower input delay and 2 youre on 370-500fps or higher at all times skill is always a factor if someone is just better youd even get shit on by a 60hz player lol
@@Prioz__you know when it comes out?
Can you play 360 hz using hdmi?
No you cant only up to 120hz
no ULMB2 for the UFO test? Also you should have mentioned the brightness settings when comparing the AQN and Dell side by side. Lack of overall brightness usually sucks on these OLEDs.
Is 360hz worth it tho if you can’t achieve it
not at all, unless you know you can upgrade your PC specs soon.
@@Troint I have a 7800x3d 4080 that won’t do 360hz I really don’t see point of 360hz not only the monitor don’t support g sync for rtx cards

When viper v3 video my Doctor
I got this monitor but can only reach 240hz with 1.4dp cable and 1080ti why ?
1080ti doesn't support dsc by default which is needed for 360hz over dp. Apparently there was a firmware update for 10 series cards to add it. You'll have to look into it for your specific card tho.

Nah instead it comes with freesync
think it would be a good monitor for competitive fortnite
just get a 240hz oled it's too hard to get 360 fps in a cluttered endgame
Imo this monitor is exclusive for rtx4090:D
On screen crosshair possible
Why not buy a oled tv for that price instead
