    RTings have a burn in evaluation that show QD-OLED is actually more resistant to burn in that WOLED. WOLED tends to get much hotter, especially compared to gen 2 qd-oled panels, which is what this monitor has.

      Any OLED screen can have burn-in... QD-OLED even more so than WOLED.
      Pixel cleaning often and not having too many "static element" for too long while the monitor is on helps preventing that. Having a "all black wallpaper" also helps a ton.
      All in all though, some LG panels have been tested and took YEARS of displaying the same image before burn-in even started to happen...

      @Andytlp 5 місяців тому

      Probably little difference except oled looks better in every way. Latency/pixel response time the numbers are so low on both, but id still give an edge to oled. dell 360hz oled has pixel response compliance in the +500hz range. Meaning it looks buttery smooth. No smearing, ghosting, reverse ghosting and so on. that 540hz tn might not actually be anywhere near close to 100% pixel response compliance. maybe 80% of the time. Just checked rog-swift-pro-pg248qp on rtings and it only hits it 42% of the time, which means it'll smear and ghost and might even be visible to the eye even on 540hz. Oleds though, not a chance. The dell is 93% compliant. Huge difference.

    Got 2 of these. Returned both due to scratches from packaging. 2nd one dell assured me I'd get the updated packaging and I didn't. Went with the MSI version which had a dead pixel. 2nd MSI is great. Almpst bailed and went WOLED but in Canada it costs more for 240hz 1440p WOLED and the coating and text clarity is awful. Its actually even noticeable in COD.

But yet people speak of it as it's magically new. If people from start even UA-camrs stood their grounds and said hey you guys are chargings premium for old techonology which it is. But im looking to upgrade to this alienware since it got glossy screen 360HZ and QD-OLED panel rather than matt, which is far better. The matt coating on my monitor is very strong and it looks oily and greasy compare to glossy finish, literally night and day difference. If you're wondering which monitor to buy go for the alienware. OLED monitors are literally a scam many of them thinks they are getting a best OLED panel in compact size that’s not true just compare it with Father of OLED’s LG C series displays it can get upto more than 1000nits in real scene why do these companies scam consumers and manipulate them by using paid UA-camrs🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️.
