These tricks do seem like potential time savers in the test.

2:12 rather not do it and move on
1. 3:40 dont do math until u have to
multiply :
- order not matter
- look for 5 and 2 first
lay everything out first,
simplify,
2. if u have to do it, use shortcut, easier way to do it
- 08:00 multiply 2s and 5 s first
> x 5 = x 10 / 2
- if involve annoying number, start from easier first
> 37/2 -> ~ 36/2 o
- 10:00 division
> x/5 = x *2/10
3. shortcut in percent / benchmarking
11:20 cool. use easy fraction 10%,5,2,1,
4. estimation
13:00 easier than to do exact math
15:50 estimation to eliminate or grouping 17:40
22:00 pair trap
5. when to use fraction/ decimals/ percent
really the same number in the end
choose form that easier:
- add/subtract = use percent / decimal
- to multiply: use fraction
