Yes, finding lawyers who understand narcissism can be tricky. Unless they've experienced it themselves or studied it, they simply do not know. The good thing is that lawyers do like winning and don't want to lose the case for you, so they do not gaslight you as badly as the average person does. I think learning about narcissism should be mandatory in high schools.
Lawyers like cashing. Winning is not important for them bc it is not “no cure no pay”.
Thank you! I feel they should learn about it as early as grade school maybe about 5th or 6th grade. I brought this up in a narcissist survivor group on FB & one of supposed survivors nearly bit my head say that kids don't need to know that & to "let kids be kids" which I found sus as Hell. Why not teach kids by making them understand how they are being treated by the narc is not okay and/or know the signs so they can know how survive their childhood & not give the narc their supply. High School us a bit more risky because they've almost formed their personalities & there's the chance that if narcissm has already formed this could teach possible young narcs tongue their narcissistic traits better when they get older because the worst type of narc in an educated one
I wish that were possible but imagine all of the narcissist parents allowing that. They would not. Parents are already at war over what is acceptable in the curriculum. Some principals can be narcissistic along with some teachers. It's a nice idea that I saw very often, but too many people would be threatened by this.
Picture little Jayden or Aerwyn coming home and accusing their parents of being narcissists because teacher said so.
@cor3944 That's not true in my experience. I'm an IP Paralegal for 5 attorneys and they're all highly in tune to their win loss records. They discuss it often.
My attorney just told me I’m dealing with a narcissist. I jumped up and down because he FINALLY sees it. Now I just need the best outcome.

I could use this too! Currently going through a custody case now with, a narcissist ex-husband, his borderline personality wife, his psychotic mother, and his narcissistic lawyer. I can guarantee, no one has a custody case crazier than this one. So much has gone on, to include multiple delays, multiple court order breaking, mediators car being broken into and my child’s report being stolen , a dead lawyer, a covid 19 positive new lawyer, false abuse accusations, and believe me the list go on. As far as lawyers wanting to win, I haven’t found this to be true in my case. Don’t feel my lawyers have done much, and have no hope at this point. I am too invested now, and can’t get a new one lawyer.

Cassidy love, I agree I’m having the same problem. I haven’t filed for divorce yet because every time I think I have found a lawyer to use something happens that makes me realize they are toxic too.
My lawyer never read half the information and just said he did not have time. Then he said it was all about numbers . They never took me serious even when I had medical records, email and other proof instead I just got financially abused in the courts and now he is after me again. I have more PTSD from the lawyers than I do him.
You are me! My attorney isn’t up for the fight. He’s about to be arrested for assaulting me. I told my attorney and she just said we need to hurry up and reply to their proposal and get this over. 😳
I wish I’d known what I was dealing with when I was going through my divorce. My ex is the worst demonic individual I’ve ever come into contact with. He’s a narcissistic sociopathic exhibitionist. Evil is an understatement. I wish I could go back and sue him for the trauma I suffered and is still recovering from.

@@TruthBeTold0914 I got through with a whole lot of prayer and crying. It was difficult. But, I held tight to Psalms 34:18…the Lord is near to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. My family and church family was also a big support. I’m still in therapy for PTSD, depression and anxiety. But, I’m so much happier. I never knew life could be this peaceful. Because I married at such a young age, it was the only way I knew to live.

I’m ready! I really appreciate your content. I have been dealing with a terrible narcissist partner. It has cost me my business and many other things, but you’ve empowered me to know that this isn’t over. It is unfortunate that people like the one I’m dealing with have been allowed to do this.
What I’ve done is log every element of the narcissists abuses and the supposed health professionals and Government workers whom supported her. Then I got an independent psychologist to diagnose, PTSD, anxiety, manic depression, panic attack disorder for both me and my daughter. I approached a no win no pay law firm which took on our case. We were allocated a specialist abuse Lawyer. Beware the other side uses a tactic where ‘they’ like control all dialogue wether it’s real or not. Remember you’ve got a narcissist putting out fake dialogue everywhere. Only your own true facts and evidence can squash the narcissist and their supporters.and use an independent health professional. I’ve been thru this it’s great to get justice against the evils of the Narcissist and those that have been fooled by their fake dialogue.
Absolutely on point...use the info that the narcissist provides when they call or reach out to make life a living hell as they always do to extract fuel...give that info to the attorney...then use attorney as a tool to defeat the narcissist...good strategy

I really enjoy your videos and your messages. So positive and reinforcing... I'm actually representing myself in a lawsuit a business investment fraud scheme that involves a narcissist/sociopath... I had a lawyer in the beginning and I was over-reliant on the lawyer just like you said and ended up spending thousand and thousands of dollars in fees. At any rate it's been 5 years but I've found the path to end my case. I'm even thinking about going to law school part time because I feel I can really help others and be a different kind of lawyer. No one in my family will help me with an attorney and it's been two years post abandonment and neglect financially no child support or alimony given after I did my own divorce and almost killed my brain. It's so devastating especially when no one understands what you're going through and blames you and your older and no college and, stuck to die with your child literally the physical and mental torment that I've lived. Really helpful to know - I am currently engaged in legal action against my Narcissistic sister and my lawyer is just wanting to go for legally correct, all guns blazing legal approach which will just escalate things and cost me more and poke the bear and probably not get me one penny more. I’ve been nervous about going against his advice but he needs to listen to me and I’m sure he’s so super smart he can skin the cat another way.

I have found that embarrassing them in the most brilliant way you can think of.. that's the way you disengage a narcissist. 'You settle this or I will make sure that you will .. [and you just put on a show! Recite a tell all! Go on and let everybody know! embarrassment works and that fragile little ego can't stand it and .. you win].
There is a way of dealing with snakes.
Snake charmer vs. snake handler
You can charm a snake. That will appease them for a while. But, they will soon bite. Everytime. Expect it. You can count on it. It's their nature.
That's why you have to handle the snake. A snake handler takes hold and lets that snake know just who he's dealing with.
That snake will slither off so quick away from you and won't ever think of biting you again.
My ex tried to intimidate me by asking for sole legal custody and no visitation ever again, so they also use this "trick" themselves. Didn't work at all, though. I just got more visitation. She then filed more bullshit, but it only shows her need to "jerk me around" and "stay in conflict", but she is the only one participating in it.

Categories, great stuff. Do have volume of evidence. One is I am thinking of using is cause and effect in a time line, action and reaction on the part of the Narcissists. After I thought about it after seeing your leverage episode. I'm ready.
It almost seems after standing my ground for my rights that the reaction on their part is to utterly try to destroy but fortunately it does not seem legitimate, rational when comparing side by side with what evidence I have.
You're so right....my divorce has been bifurcated since 2005 and for division of property, custody etc it is still ongoing 15 + years later. He remains in contempt of court by not completing a QDRO. My lawyers are clueless.

I think my ex covert narcissist is using our kid to get to me. Solicitors said its unhealthy for 6 years old to meet with that person, and I got a letter saying that if he don't change his lifestyle he cannot see the kid. But just because we don't think he will be proactive to take this to court. But you never know, he might be aware that other people will not stand on his side because I clearly said what kind of father he is and my son doesn't want to see him too. But I will watch and read everything what I can just to prepear myself for the worst. There's a lot of victimhood in my ex, no job, renting just a room, smoking weed, all the world is against him, and all the bad happening to him is other people's fault

oh we just started negotiating in with trying to get my family heirlooms of all things back through the process just starting this divorce nothing that took value to her other than wanting to control and it's not happening
I had a friend in the same situation. she eventually got it all back. I feel for you now.I started about1.5 years planning before I finally escaped. I left when he visited his family at Christmas in another province. He went with his girl friend and her husband. I was nice and left my 9 foot dining room table and chairs, others smaller items. I would go back at night when I knew he would be at girl friends house, and kept getting the rest of my stuff, til he changed the locks on the doors. He has agreed to give me the rest of my stuff and the list will be part of divorce settlement. He has delay producing required paperwork and changes demands monthly. I have been working with a new lawyer, the other one went to new job, and seems to be better. Today after watching this I sent him more information. The control is insane. Be patient, and pray.

I have often wondered if there are laws that cover narcissistic abuse. My ex-wife was raised by her narcissistic grandmother after she forced my ex-wife's mother to sign over custody of her when my ex-wife was just 2 years old. From then on, my ex-wife had it drilled into her verbally and we think physically too that her grandmother comes first and her mother does not want her anymore. Over the years her little child's brain accepted this as fact. Growing up, my ex-wife was not allowed to have her own bank account or hee own money. She was kept from.takinh Drivers Ed in high school, and attempts by her sister to offer her driving school lessons were rudely rebuffed by her grandmother "stay out of my business. If I wanted her to learn how to drive I'd teach her myself!" My ex-wife was kept from.getting jobs and from going to college by her grandmother. Indeed she had no.form.of personal identification.

I've been in a suit for 2 and a half years (and 2 different firms) the plaintiff did a clear bait & switch (4 different contracts plaintiff made for buying my land) the venue is where the property is and the town is very small and some what (good old boys mentality) None of the attorneys want to deal wth plaintiff (including his own attorney) but bc this has gone on for so long everyone wants me to give pay him out even though I've got a counter claim for half of that (it's a lot of money over 150k) My attorneys want it over and not go to court (litigation has been 2.5 years) but I'M the one that has given everything to this guy & everyone knows its "wrong" but no one wants to continue this to court bc of it being 50/50 going my way.... I'm almost ready to give in.

It is tricky when you don´t know your narcissist in personal level, exsample sexual harrasments by a stranger or a visable harm cost by a self-employed entrepreneur. What to do when there is no paper trails or leverage to use against a person with NPD? I can think only one thing: the pass behavior. Find out do they ´ve public criminal records and use them to prove your case.
I'm going thru drama and chaos. Being gaslighted by the cartel and police as well as a narcissist ex girlfriend . Being harrassed everywhere I go poisened threatened they have a device trying to brainwash me in my mind they won't stop. Have a device talking to me in my head and they won't quit. Have any guidance on that ???
