Now the set really gets deep into that Architects-feel with this absolute banger (I know I say that about literally every track... but it's true...) from their 2016 album "All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us". Just got goosebumps watching this back hearing everyone shouting the lyrics at the band... what a vibe!
Doesn't matter what anthem they write, no song will sound bigger in an arena than this. Having been at their ally Pally and Wembley headliners, the song was the highlight of both. The ambient guitar parts, THAT breakdown, just perfection ❤️
I was also there for those two shows bro! Awesome stuff. Proper heavy, fast-as too. Definitely their fastest song - especially now that it's main rival Naysayer has been dropped from the set (for now...)
Also, when they opened with it on the November 2016 tour - FUCK ME! I was at Brixton for that, bloody awesome. That was one of the craziest Architects shows I've been too... Sam's highs on that night were electric.
For me that Wembley show was one of the best I've been to as the stage production was epic and the audio mix was so clean and tight, it was the best sounding show I've ever seen! And I was about 10 rows back in front of Josh so I wasn't even in the theoretically best place in the room! I just hope they play it at Ally Pally in February 😅 Cannot wait for that show. Or any that I've got booked for that matter!
@@SeanBoweVideos Dude I was at the Brixton one in 2016. I go back and watch your vids all the time cause they're the only good vids from that night. Ive been to so many shows, but none have EVER topped the primal energy I felt at Brixton that night. Still riding that high 5 years later cause nothing compares.
@@NullHypothesis992 bro I appreciate that so much my man! 🖤 and yes, there was something about that night that was just off the dial! Most likely the energy in the wake of Tom's passing and it being their first ever Brixton sellout and biggest headline show at the time.
