- How to save the existing tyre, clean off the old glue and change the tyre using tape instead of glue. Known as a real 'pain' and time consuming to install, tubular tyres really get a bad wrap.
They are lighter then tubed and tubeless tyres generally and with the advances in tubular tape, these awesome tyres are perfect for the 'race' setup.

That tyre lever help when removing "tape cover" is EXCELLENT help, I usually tear it and it is then very difficult to finish it
Can't really hear you. The music in your video is a little too loud, it over powers your voice.
The only mistake is to say that "a flat on the side of the road is impossible to do". In my over 40 years of using them I have never been stranded because of a flat. I've had about 10 puncures in that entire time (mainly because i only use quality tyres that actually wear out before puncturing) and just swapped the tyre with a spare in less time than it takes to faff about with tyre levers etc. So, in summary, for serious road riding and when you know what you're doing Tubular, otherwise known as Tubs or Singles are better in every way. The only reason some Pro Teams don't use them is because they're paid not to, same goes with road disc.

Did you mount a new tire or re-use the one you removed? If you re-used the old tire did you have to do anything to remove glue from the tire before remounting? If so, what did you do?

It’s special tubular tape from a bike shop. Tape stays on the rim and tyre, just the protective film is removed once the tyre is seated
