The Destiny Community is Not Happy (Season of the Wish First Impressions) is about the monetization and the first impressions of destiny's new season. More posts about the business of the season more than the season's content itself, more targets on bungies backs than a single season can really fix. So I want to answer.. Is the SEASON really that bad and why is the destiny community not happy?! Is this an illusion made by content creators to farm clicks and views? That one full stop no, I’ll just answer that no! Let me lay out the facts and the reality of what season of the wish, for now, is all about and let you decide if it’s worth your time or if it’s something you wanna come back to later.

We’re never happy. I haven’t been happy since 2020 and I’m mentally still in 2019
Are there other games that still make you happy? 🥹
Mentally I'm still in the Court of Oryx with my old high school/D1 buddies.
@monistermat2093 oh yeah. Baldurs gate 3 made me happy
Go to the doctor
Then why you still playing
The true 15th wish: making destiny 2 great and fun to play again
Edit: thx for the likes guys and gals, it’s good that I started a conversation in the reply section
it will not happen
That would mean returning back to Activision.
And Activision is now owned by Microsoft, so that would mean full circle of ownership.
Not even Riven can make a fasle image of that
Unfortunately, thanks to the recent set of buffs and nerfs that's not happening. In fact the opposite is.
I'm having fun.
I knew it from the beginning, the true 15th wish was the friends we made along the way
Naw it's the guns we collected over the years to raid Bungie headquarters is the final wish. 😂

It's not just the final season of the year: IT'S THE FINAL SEASON EVER. AND THEY ASKED US TO DO BLIND WELL RIGHT AWAY. THAT'S HOW THEY SEND OFF AN ENTIRE ERA.
Wouldn’t final shape be the end of the era? This is just another season, I personally wasn’t exactly expecting much from it and it’s been okay so far.
while its not as perfect as it could be, the d2team twitter did clarify this will only happen in weeks 1 & 6 and never again

They should make accessing the 15th wish some community puzzle for us all to figure out. Something like corridors of time but not as tedious
Nah make that shit as tedious as possible 😂 so they can have something to do for instead of complaining theres no content after speed running thru everything in 1 day
Wait.... isn't the imbaru engine puzzle THE 15th wish?
@@Noname-ol8efno we got the wish from the final witch cutscene. The pattern of the wish was on the back of savathuns wing and our character figured out the puzzle off screen then shows the wish wall pattern to eris, then this season it’s just given to us and it’s a teleport to Rivne’s boss area in a mission that’s it
@@PmfSwavierah yes the niobe lab experience electric boogaloo 😂
@@PmfSwavier you can beat the entire weekly story and challenges in 4 hours. if 4 hours per week is speedrunning to you then I'm terrified of what you think slowrunning it would be. The new seasonal mission is fun, very little fucking content, but fun. Id be interested to hear what you consider new content this season? The same strikes we have been doing for 4 years? The same pvp maps we have been doing for fucking 10 years. Gambit? The blind welll that was added 4 years ago? enlighten me.
My current theory is that this season has been broken up a lot so they can cover up some months. Both wishes and into the light most likely would have launched with the season but have been delayed so we can have content later on. We sadly will have to wait and see.
I had always thought they purposely kept the 15th wish as a "get out of jail free" card. They were just gonna pull it out whenever they needed to make some wild jump and to pull back people that were fans of forsaken.
The real kicker to me is how reused the seasonal weapons are. There is barely anything done to their previous model from the previous seasons they came from; just a little slapped on thing on the side that is 'riven-esque' and the same goes for some of the skins too.
Sadly, this has been this way for several seasons now, and has become the new standard. Same as with season 20 weapons, mainly just reskins from season 15.
You mentioned the bow being the same model as the Imperial Needle from Chosen, but you forgot:
the new linear fusion uses Threaded Needle's model
the new fusion rifle uses Null Composure's model
the new slug shotgun uses Bonechiller's model
the new trace rifle uses Path of Least Resistance's model
and the new pulse rifle uses Cold Denial's model
not to mention the new playlist and world-drop weapons are all reused too. Hopefully the dungeon at least has unique gun models. (I'm not mad about it tho, reusing models is no big deal for seasonal stuff)
I agree there are more important things than the weapon models, but when you think abt all the brand spanking new eververse stuff every season, it's pretty fucking yikes.
@@gigan3838 even then a lot of the eververse stuff is silver exclusive for the season then released for bright dust next season like season of the deep silver stuff was later sold in season of the witch for bright dust. So the new stuff if you want it for free it’s a long wait, too that the new ornaments are usually late into the season for bright dust as well recently
I just wish they brought back the weapon models from ROI.. even Extremophile or Assembly II
the bow i mentioned only because of the shading issue, reskins are normally okay as long as the sound and functionality is new, there's only so many ways to make a fusion, bow, etc but when shading is not even done is when it's lame :(
@@evanf1997 oh yeah, on the one hand I'm perfectly fine with reusing models because it's smart game design, and on the other hand I'm cool with it because I like recognising when a model is smartly reused and seeing how the devs are able to make the new gun feel distinct. Like all the examples I found are nearly completely different in sound, element-type and general feel due to new perks, so it's really smart and i give props to the weapon designers.
Watching Datto that mad at the end of his video was priceless and somehow represents me
Weapon crafting is a double edged sword, it’s nice to be able to guarantee the roll you want without having to sink an unknown amount of hours into the game, but it kills the thrill of getting most rolls on a non crafted gun because it can’t have enhanced perks
instead of weapon crafting they should’ve added a new ghost mod to focus the perk in one colomn of your weapon drops, or add some sort of selector when you start the activity to focus a certain perk. It would make the grind still valuable.
I think they should make one or two seasonal weapons craftable and that’s it. Keep the raid weapons uncraftable.
@@SpicyCheeseSpreadthis is exactly how it should have been - either that or at least have had enhanced perks that only drop on dropped versions (Uncraftable rolls on craftable weapons - much like a curated roll)
@@SpicyCheeseSpread yes 100%, either make it so that you can easily swap perks, or remove crafting, these half-assed solutions are not good systems.
Datto being mad for the first time ever says it all.
I don't think I've ever been this sad to have put this much time into anything. It's hurt a lot to see them kinda just slowly stop caring about the community even a little bit.
They saw how lucrative microtransactions have become and that’s the direction they’ve been taking this game. 3700 hours I’ve watched this game decline year after year. I finally got off the hamster wheel shortly after lightfall and honestly, I’m glad I got to experience destiny before it became the mutilated bs it is today.
Babil
Id say the season isnt bad (yet) but i think that its the community and bungie relationship thats on the edge. Right now were in the most lowest point in destiny and in the reconciliation phase of the abusive relationship. Bungie is baseically saying "pls give us more time we will change we will fix everything". We are in an abusive relationship with bungie and its gonna take alot of effort from bungie for the cycle to end.

the fact that I remembered the release date for season of the wish ONLY thanks to joe blackburn's dev update just shows how much I fell out of love for this game, and it makes me sad to think about
I think Riven's Lair is essentially the same as The Coil is because for story progression, they don't want you to have to go through all four rounds of the Coil to progress (and they couldn't make the quest tick off at the end of loop one since the activity hasn't ended yet), so they made Riven's Lair as a way to have people just run one loop of The Coil and have the activity end so as not to have them run a potentially hour-long activity for seasonal quest progress. For story, they intend that you run Lair, for loot, they intend you run Coil. Most players' playtime through this activity will most likely be in the longer (and more rewarding) Coil.
Hey. Ya. I thought I joined the wrong event. Spike traps trash. Kept loading in with same left hand door with the toxic traps. Gave up.
Man, I really feel bad for ole gummy Joe. The corporate bigwigs just parade him out there every time the shit hits the fan.
I think the last time I was happy was 5 minutes before my friend told me about a game he got for Christmas…over ten years ago in a middle school hallway, I believe the game he said it was was destiny.
Can we please talk about sidearm as the only artifact barrier popper??
Yea but theres like 3 easy ways to get radiant
Tons of ways to get radiant, and probably a point of emphasis for Wishender (considering its a signature weapon from the dreaming city).
The reason crafting takes the wind out of the sails of random dropped loot is because the perk pools of drops and crafts are the same. If dropped loot had different available godrolls to their crafted variants, then maybe we'd see a reason to grinding for drops.
I haven't touched d2 since the arrival of the pyramids because of the monetization, but at this point I'm ready to head back to D1 lol

Season of seraph was pretty peak in retrospect, this does not give me a lot of hope and neither did last season, I’m gonna hold off until some solid time has been had with the activities

God I wish we could go back to seasons like black armory where it was NEVER boring or dry.
The forges would make so much more sense for crafting instead of chasing red borders
If the 15th wish was something that we had to find organically that would have been a huge W for bungie. Just handing it to us sucks. They could have used savathuns wings to start us off. Then have the rest be found organically.
And by organically you mean we find the start and its datamined in a day
Ok. We spend 5 weeks finding bits of the wish. Then what? How do we make the wish? Wish wall? Seems pretty lame for the end of a story to end with us just entering a code in. We get Riven back this way, a unique character comes back into the mix.
Its funny how upper management keeps making the same mistakes over and over and over again
Pretty much feels like a meh season but definitely like The Coil, feels just right on difficulty for once so hopefully the Dungeon will be the same and not breaking records on boss health again
Same, i thought the coil is fun and just challenging enough for me with other players. Im not an expert at the game, but i like the arcade progression of the coil arena.
Im not a veteran who has history with this game like many others, so its hard to feel their disappointment, but i can see why there are complaints.
What i thought was also pretty nice is the geralt skin.
I want forsaken bungie back
I want halo 3 bungie back.
I want crack
I want iron banner bungie back because legit that expansion slapped lol
I honestly think most of the Destiny Community need to take a break for a season. If ur able to drop the FOMO and just accept losing the armor OR just getting the seasonal armor and then dropping it and coming back next season it really makes the game fun again. Burnout is the problem but nobody wants to accept that.
frfr
Yeah most of the community has quit the game, 25% of what it was during lightfall lol, they just never come back
I tried this in Last seazon and i stay tired yet.
True
Whiteknighting is the problem
The biggest reason that has kept me from playing the recent seasons is how none of the guns have any remotely useful perk combos
The same reason i think haunted was one of the best seasons we got in the past 2 years because almost all of the guns actually see high use in pve or pvp compared to deep, witch and wish
Where i honestly didnt bother to to craft a single gun that didnt come out of a raid or dungeon
I feel the same. Stopped playing during season 21 and couldn't be bothered with the majority of all the new guns (I still really enjoyed a couple of them). Even the exotic weapons are pretty forgettable, I still was mostly using exotic weapons from season 10 and older, and only about 3 from newer seasons.
i feel like instead of doing the whole " get my eggs " thing it could have been a " go kill Shcold" the Ancient Ahamkara and he'll be in a underground part of the dreaming city either sleeping or waiting for a challenger. riven would have us kill him and then she would grant the wish.
Except she was the last ahamkara. The vanguard and awoken were pretty heavy about that
@@ThePresidentofMarsI think the phrase was last "KNOWN" Ahamkara... So yeah that could have easily been pushed aside for an Ahamkara that was smart and hid itself away
@garbagegnomeking dont wish dragons feed on peoples desires, even if it was an old one, it would still need to feed.
@@ThePresidentofMars well, while you could be right, A). If it's smart there's a way it could have prepared itself. B). I don't know if there's a lore piece that says they die if they don't feed on someone's wants. I mean riven was locked up during the taken war and never had anything to feed on to my knowledge.
@garbagegnomeking this is just my speculation but even though mara used the wish wall to prevent riven from twisting her intentions, they were still her desires.
i cant blame the community for being unhappy. we have many reasons to be. and its sad whats happened to the game, so close to the end of the light/dark storyline.
You summed up the red border/loot grind perfectly, got every season of the witch patterns and I didn't use any of them once.
what would have been really cool was the 15 wish thing being added the last week of Witch and not several weeks before. this way people rush over to the wish wall and that launches the season the next week. Maybe doing the wish triggers the trailer to drop that day and such. but instead we get a delay annoucment to dampen our mood for a new season that is ready to dissapoint us with more poor buisness choices
I feel this is the higher-up's fault for this low. With all the news coming out since the layoffs, the communities were reaching a boiling point, especially with no delay announcement until the start of this season. IMO still waiting for Pete Parson's apology as HE along with all the other executives were responsible for the blunders the community have faced recently, the mediocre seasons, increases in the Eververse store, DLC + Expansion payments, buggy launches and of course the Lightfall letdown, the main reason for the low we've reached. Which is why I'm hoping Bungie wins the best community award as I WANT PARSON to accept it AND FORMALLY APOLOGISE and if he doesn't I will still wait for that apology before I buy the Final Shape. If the head of your main game Destiny 2 can come out and apologise for your tone-deaf executive decisions then I'm sure you can hop off your high horse to say "I'm Sorry". But hey if he doesn't want people to play the game just say so.
It's sad they didn't come out with a good explanation why they delayed last wish and marathon and played off a bunch of employees leaving us in the dark. It's almost like Bungie doesn't care anymore and is consumed by microtransaction greed and it's only going to get worse.
@@scrubclub7138were you not here when the execs scrapped D1's original story months before it came out making it until Taken King before the devs made that game good? It's always been this bad.
@@kingebin9830 yes I was there that long, been here since d1 beta but that's not what were talking about now. I even remember when Peter Dinklage was specifically told to act like a robot when voicing ghost and he was fired for "under performance" even though he did what they told him to do. I know this game is a mess and scrapt the original story. I even know that Lightfall's dlc was rushed too, and I think they had to scrap that story too. Bungie is consumed by greed and Activation had it under control, now it's just sad.
How in the fuck did we get here? It is insane how bungie manages to dissapoint in almost all aspects since lightfall.
i didnt really think any of this, for me it was:
- rivens walk (or whatever it was called) is a fun lil thing that i probably wont touch, but is cool
- the coil is basically a horde mode that kicks your ass, and i love that. this is amazing
- riven ghost is pog
- riven said nuh uh, we're just fucked then i guess :/
- bungie gave up trying to hide things and you can see what should be hidden by looking out the window in the helm, which i love because i love looking at any Behind the Scenes stuff
- weapons look cool, but i wont be using them because i yet again have no reason to chase after them (but i do have my eyes on that trace tho)
- looking foward to see how things pan out later on, and how the dungeon is, because from the popup ingame that showed a pic of where it'll be set, im excited for that!
- got given a reason to run blind well, which is fine by me, that shit fun asf
but now that youve said all of this, i cant help but just feel sad, for me this season looks pretty good, but i guess to the wider community its just really shit, plus with the poison in the air from all the corpo stuff isnt really helping overall morale. im sad to hear corpo bungie is still being the same, but i have hope for the devs. they are the people, not the suits. they make games they want to play, and i hope their light shines through the suffocating shadow that is the higher ups
im here till the end, how about you?
I definitely disagree. The light event they’re referring to definilty wasn’t delayed. It most certainly is in the early stages, and will be cobbled together to give the players something to do so they don’t drop the game, which they are already doing.
Hot take but I think potentially a good way to fix how crafting kills the hunt for loot is making it so that you only unlock the perks that that one deepsight weapon comes with.
For example: you’ve never gotten a red border Age Old Bond before, and you finally get one that’s a red border and it has let’s say Dragonfly and Kill Clip. When you delete it or obtain the deepsight from it, you instantly unlock the pattern, but only have those perks unlocked. That way you have to unlock new perks for your crafted weapon by finding more red borders with new perks on them. And then maybe once you unlock all the perks for a weapon that way, then you gain access to the enhanced perks.
Tweak it in a way that makes it actually feel like you are crafting something from mismatched parts of other guns!
Couldn't agree more. Some of the craftable weapons are so good that it makes any other weapon of the same type useless to grind for. Most of the loot pool is useless. You dismantle everything for legendary shards but now even that's going away. But at least we have 7 freaking months to get rid of them.
Nah that's dog shit because you could get 100 borders in a row that never have that combo your looking for. The current iteration is fine they could do well to touch up on it and make crafting actually customizable. Multiple rows of perks for example idk why that hasn't ever been done despite constant asking for it
It’s been ONE day
ONE
And we ALREADY know how this is gonna go down
THAT says a LOT
Well atleast I know i can take a 5 month break before completing everything in a few days.
@@Suigeneris999 that’s honestly the strat
Especially when seasonal challenges are all basically the same thing it’s better to just do them all at once
But ngl it might not even be worth it cuz more and more items are for silver only
lol I waited the ENTIRE season just to get the swarmers ornament as that was the only item I even wanted
If they keep this up I’ll be a bright dust millionaire
And a real life millionaire too cuz I ain’t buying shit
Three times I tried playing, 3 times the server disconnected me at the end of my quest objective. First time was the mission, then was the activity, then at the end of the blind well. I hate wasting 15-30 minutes and then going back to start over
I don't think that the delay of TFS is due to "wanting to give the best experience". I kinda believe the rumor that it was delayed so that sales will fall into another fiscal quarter and not impact sony's financials as much. I think this rumor is true due to how they were talking about TFS during the showcase. I feel if you really care about your product then you would know well enough in advance if it was going to have issues/ not meet deadlines when you were playtesting.
Also I love how the showcase did it's job to make people shut up with their complaints only to have the silence thrown away with the decisions afterwards.
they should've given us a cool gift or something with the season drop like a free materials pack and some shaders as a peace offering
Free? Yea right you realize this is destiny 2 right
Pretty bummed out that we didn’t get a new exotic armor piece. I’ll give it a week before I decide if this season is even fun to begin with.
yeah and it only looks like we're getting 3 new exotic weapons this season with the strand bow, dragons breath, and dungeon exotic
the bow does look pretty fun to use though and it comes from a mission i think
Blind well is probably my most played activity in this game and I’m happy that it now gives enhancement cores
Y’all have to just accept that it’s over and it ended a long time ago
This is the first seasonal activity ive actually enjoyed grinding in awhile. Im still upset over past events but that doesnt detract from the fact being the seasonal stuff this season being challenging, fun, and rewarding.
i enjoy it too. guess we are the outliers
I enjoy it too. I'm convinced Bungie just can't win. No matter what they do, people just will complain bc its the popular thing to do right now.
nah b i stopped playing bc of all the bullshit, not because it was "popular" to do@@lazygamersinc1634
What you just said about crafting I 💯 agree. I said this and my buddies said I was crazy. If they want crafting they should go back to just using mats that can be obtained in these activities rather then borders. Similar to how it was in D1.

hey evan, jus wanna let u know ur my fav video essay content creator on this platform, and ask that u continue making videos like these, its interesting listening to them while playing a game
thank you
I might actually make a video on my perspective on this season. I was pretty hopeful for Bungie and I am pretty let down. Lots of concerns I didn't expect to have. Haven't done content creation in about a decade, but I feel like giving it a go just so I can put it out there and hope bungie sees it and takes it into consideration.
Good luck. Would love to see it if you do
Wonder if Final Shape raid will be good as Vow of the Disciple & Spire of Stars or its gonna be Final Fail
As a returning player from years ago, I knew I had to start from scratch, but I was excited to see a new season starting about a week later so I just waited. I had forgotten you had to buy the season otherwise you can’t really enjoy anything new. What made it worse was the only players I met immediately wanted to do raids that I just… cant do because I don’t wanna pay for all the dlcs. I started looking up why all the old content was just gone and finding out about the sunsets. Wow. Then all I can do this season is just Blind Well. The game is geezer age. I shouldn’t have to revisit it and be met with multiple pay walls. I get paying for an experience if I enjoyed it. But strikes, gambit, and crucible with the Eternal loot island just doesn’t feel like anything. Especially with nobody even talking in voice 99% of the time. Uninstalled. Hope Bungie can do something, but I highly doubt it so I won’t waste my time.
Havent touched d2 ina few months and this season feels great so far
OHH!? Now I understand why I was able to get into the game for the first time ever without any tragic issues:)
I’m not joking by the way, every expansion, every season, I have had to wait through traffic before being able to play, but not this seasons. That is wild to me and was something I noticed immediately upon starting the game.
Imagine a community event for the 15th wish on par with the corridors of time puzzle. The hype that would cause alone leading up to the final shape with community feeling they’re directly impacting the outcome of the story and coming together to culminate 10 years of story.
The actual season activity is a lot of fun with tons of loot. Holding judgement until I see the dungeon and exotic quest.
Me personally im digging the new season, i especially like The Coil. It keeps me busy
This same sentiment occurred with seraph last year and it turned out to be one of the best seasons, week one out of a seven month season is to early imo. I like how they are trying new things with the activity this time around.
I somewhat agree with this. Maybe we have to wait for things to be good and also for the people who are complaining about blind well, SHUT THE F@#$ UP. I liked doing it because it gave me more enhancement cores than a nightfall and I haven't played it in a while. I thought the first week was meh as well and I don't like the whole maguffin story telling and we have to wait for byf to make a video so we can have an opinion since we don't know how to make one.
The worst part is that i had no queue on day1 10 minutes after release
the community is never happy but i never really care about reviews or what other people say about a game i play, i only really worry about what i think of the game or ill look into a game if i may find interest into it
There are three things I like in this season so far and only THREE!
1. Playing The Coil solo and messing with builds
2. Dragon's Breath (I dunno, I just like it)
3. That new strand fusion
There are zero things i like in this season. ... no like seriously. Like the only thing I like is how the comp emblem looks... ... nothing else. at all
@@akvza7503then you got some horrible standards buddy, but we all have our opinions
Honestly, playing diablo has reinforced my thought that sunsetting isnt bad, just executed poorly.
Give all guns (maybe not armor) a hard cap that it can not be infused byond and have a special etheric light that can be used to bring a gun up to the current lvl cap with those orbs only being given in trials end matches (the last 2 with a 15% drop) and master raid and grandmaster nightfall at 10% each
Craftable weapons also need to be weakened.
I swear the D2 community has the largest and most severe case of Stockholm Syndrome behind the COD community
It's the players that have done this. We preordered, we bought everything they gave us. They increased price, they gave us less and less, they added more microtransactions and we just kept buying. We should have demanded Luke Smith be yanked way back. Remember when we thought the greed came from activision? Destiny 1 was great and enjoyable. I didn't complain. There were issues but the content was enjoyable most of us were still happy with what we got for our money.
I'm enjoying the new season. Idc what others think, the game will continue with or without you. I have thousands of hours into destiny as a whole and almost 3k into D2 on steam alone. I'm enjoying this season.
Happy to see this. The Destiny community(not as a whole) but the large number of toxic players that's what's tearing things apart. I'm pretty grossed out by it
@@grizzlybehr1902 I play the game with my friends and family. My needs and wants will never be addressed. I'm going with the flow of the game. I'm a consumer not the maker. They can do what they wish to do with said game and I'll still play it. The community is not why I play the game. People can be as toxic about the game as they want and it'll still leave me unaffected by it. People always want more. There will never ever be a perfect game that exists. Ever.
I have a feeling this entire year was mostly a last minute “slap together” expansion; that they felt they needed to cram in. This would maybe explain the high amount of re-skinned weapons, and strand really being the only thing unique and new aside from Neomuna. Yes there are some new perks here and there, but hopefully the delay with TFS will bring a ton of new unique items and experiences. One can only hope.
My second break began last season… my first was stasis release
The season just started…Jesus Christ people have no chill
I'm happy. I really like coils. Season of the deep and season of the witch were two of the best seasons destiny's ever had in regard to actual content, but everyone's so busy being over dramatic little girls, they can't get over themselves
Ppl are gonna continue to hate this game has seen better days but it’s a day into the season the sandbox is fun imo but content creators get more views by hating on the game unless bungie does some insanely good so they’ll continue and majority of d2 players don’t know how to form their own opinion and just repeat whatever they here from the ppl they follow and it’s always been that way content creators control everything in destiny
Destiny community try to be happy challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
I'm disappointed because the 15th wish deserved to be something cool, not feeling like a "quick, how can we try to make the community forget about the lay offs and delays?"
It's a waste. We've waited for the 15th wish SO LONG. It shouldn't be just average.
Hearing that Banjo-Kazooie music in the background was just preem
Update: Bungie has removed the starter pack from the steam store, I think giving it to anyone who owns D2 would be fire!
If you wanna have actual talks about the game without the YT wall come to my discord
HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS ON THE TOILET?!?!?
Nobody agree with evanf1997 with removing crafting because he has bad takes
Regardless what Bungie does, the damage has been done. I'm upset at them but also upset at the community and guess what, from a content creator (won't say name) found out that you all get silver to promote cosmetics from the store. So I blame Bungie for corporate greed, the community for being cash cows, and content creators for saying one thing but still promoting that monetization practices from Bungie.
@@12SlimJims Bungie has lied a lot over the years. Their past cases of clearly misleading and deceiving their player base is not forgotten. They took their best employees and put them on a different game. Vicarious Visions and High Moon Studios did a great job. They are gone forever. You can't snap your fingers and replace dozens if not hundreds of good people.
Who is the "community"..... streamers ? and the consistent people who repeat the same complaint on the internet ?...The majority of people are playing
Man I am so tired of seeing video after video after video of people just trashing Bungie for every single thing they do. I've been having a good time playing and trying out the new stuff and even going back to the dreaming city (one of my favorite locations). But I guess drama gets clicks. And this isn't coming from some day 1 blueberry, I've got over 10,000 hours in the game and for a commumity that wants and needs new lights to jump in the game they do a really good job of turning people off it possibly before they've even tried it.
Agreed give the season a shot. Ive been enjoying it even with the nerfs. Just go in and shoot things thats all im about. Ps. 5k hours in still playing strong. Some people just need a break or play something else. This community is getting tiresome of hearing
Right?! It's been 1 F***ING DAY!!!! The "hate/screw Bungie" side of the community is ruining the experience for so many people. It's really sad to see where the community is right now and content creators being their beacon of rage and hate instead of trying to push any sort of positive influence to move in a better course direction.
I'm really happy to see these couple of comments and reminds me that there are still a few of us out here and not feeling this way alone 🤙 keep killin it Guardians
good vid bro
It's only the first week and so far and tbh I'm really messing with the coil . BUT... If we don't get more room/encounters throughout the season or have to do more blind well. I will be very sadge.
Exactly why I don't play with many people anymore.
We're 1 DAY IN and people are already b*tching like crazy. The toxicity of the Destiny community is what's killing the game, it's really pathetic. Been a player for 10yrs or so and have never seen a group of gamers that treat each other and the developers like such f***ing garbage instead of embracing each other, helping people or just trying to have fun with each other.
The community is tearing the community apart, Bungie "the business" is not. We've literally been dealing with this for years. People are still going to buy sh*t!
Trashing each other, the game and the people who work on it (aside from maybe marketing) isn't doing a god damn thing but make all of our experience worse for it.
I'm pretty disgusted with what the community has BECOME.
Wasn't always like this and has definitely fallen from grace.
I know it's not all of you, but there's a massive number these days
And remember, WE'VE ONLY HAD THE SEASON FOR 1 DAY
Chill the f*** out people or go play other titles. So tired of this constant baby bullsh*t
yeah I agree. Bungie is still a shitty corporate company but for as long as I can remember, this community has been so fucking toxic, and even if some of it was deserved, it's so tiring. I know its a minority but they won't shut their fucking mouths
this gotta be a copy pasta
Amazing troll post 10/10 almost had me.
As someone who has been with Destiny since the Open Beta for D1 thank you.
The community really is full of toxic people and cry babies.
Like you said the season literally dropped yesterday. People need to give it time so that the story can develop.
I'm so sick and tired of people blaming the Bungo Devs when sometimes it isn't their fault.
People just want to hate because they live sad pathetic life's.
@@truv_ copy pasta? I'm 32yrs old and think for myself thanks 👍
World hunger could be solved before the destiny community is happy about something
Well. It took me an hour and a half to get through that “polysemy” level. So that was mind numbingly frustrating. I like the return of Dragons Breath. I don’t like you can only buy enhancement cores WEEKLY now. Not daily. As I never Raid, not sure what is going on but plenty of monsters to shoot as usual. Sad there’s no auto rifle.
it's been like 2 days and it's already hell, new record for D2
$20 1 character ornament set should say it all. and to add to the weapon bit. seriously all of them are just weapons we had previously with a little model touch up. the only weapon that looks good is the shotgun.
Bro the solar nerf is like wtf
Man I remember the weeks long hunt for the 15th back when I still had people to play d2 with I miss those days...
i agree if crafting was to be a fundamental part of the loot grind then they need to go all in. However it still cant compromise the loot grind. I should be able to look at piece of gear I want and see I have 2 paths either focus on drop or crafting and have them met at equal points (ie no enhanced perks). I should be able to focus on drops and if I am not getting roles I am going for I know that I am building the weapon to the way I want it by engaging in the loot meaning that 1/5, 2/5, 1/5 I keep getting can become that 5/5. But at the same time there should be a reason to keep engaging in drops I believe that should come in the form of multiple perks. I dont get why weapons cant have a rare chance of having more perks and the higher the difficulty the better the chance and the slots you see like how some have 2 on the left and 3 on the right. I also think crafting should engage in this too in the form of weapon investment and a prestige system. Want more perk slots send it back to level 1 and then spend a resource to add it.
That “bungie wake the fuck up” hit me bro I didn’t expect that
damn, didn't even realize there was a new season, I'd love to do the dungeon, but nothing you have said has made me feel good about Destiny at all :(
There's no new exotic is the exotic mission rotator, there's no refreshed raid weapons from VoG or GoS and no new exotic armour, maybe we'll get it later on but I highly doubt it.
Evan, you are so right about the crafting issue. I don’t care about the roles at all !!unless they have a red frame so I could make the one that I want!! 100% on the nose there my friend. 👍🏻
I checked out week 2 of Lightfall, glad I didn't come back yet.
I just hope Final Shape is truly main milestone right now, but it doesn’t seem that’ll be the case with a bunch of new content being released and made taking away from FS’s dev time.
I thought the EXACT same thing when i saw the new witcher armour set… ‘why the hell wasnt this just iron banner armour!’ 🤦🏽♂️
See i liked blind well during its introduction in forsaken. Tigerspite is one of my favorite auto rifles. Coil and etc is a good idea..in theory.
What you said about crafting is how i felt since day one of the witch queen. Juste remove the whole thing or make random drops relevant.
Beyond Light was loki nostalgic for me man i miss 2020 stasis meta so fun
I feel like this was like this last year
Bungie: you are the melee class
Also Bungie: stop using melee
