The RAF is kicking my ass too! What yoy u said about keeping people on the radar detector at 11:05 is a great tactic. What I like to do now is draw bearing circles 7-800 km from airbases. Once i know im in a patrol radius I'll up the radar detector and keep a leader + 2 sailors on the AA guns while running at 2 m deep
At 15:19 near the compass above you can see a small area covered with water and a small sort of canal. That canal would have hosted HMS Victory could you imagine the propaganda victory if you also infiltrated that, the royal navy would have failed to keep you out of Portsmouth lost the flagship of the entire navy before failing to catch you even though you were in a harbor where there was only 1 entrance it would have been straight up embarrassing but it would 100% cause them to take the Uboat extremely serious and would probably cause them to bomb your port pretty much hourly with squadrons just to have a chance to kill your Uboat
That would have been the most epic, glorious and comical thing possible!! without a shadow of a doubt Churchill would send us the person responsible for defending the port tied to the first bomb that will fall on our base XD
Almost certainly such a disastrous act in real life would have been so embarrassing the harbor master would have been tried for treason for defending the port so incompetently

Shadow zone? Oh the game means the Thermal layer, a zone that differs in every region of the world and impacts even modern sonar. Makes Subs really hard to spot if you're under that layer
idk if new york port is better than it used to be, as it used to be a block of concrete, but if it is updated you could go for a port strike on a US port
Region idea to go to: Africa! Minelaying missions net you a milk cow + the southern routes campaign will get you convoys and an oppurtunity to expose false flag merchants
I think every REAL naval enthusiast does. But that's just my opinion. I personally want to know more about the left behind sub designs. Coastal, mine-layer, etc. The only one I know about is cruiser submarine like HMS M1
