Ron, im in north Georgia. i followed your instructions and sprayed prodamine +image in 1st wwek of Feb. I also applied celcius + certainity in mid-March for poa. I still see many broad leaf weeds and poa. Is April too late for another round of granular pre-emergent? Also, can i apply another round of certainity +celcius? Or do you have any other suggestions? I closely follow all your instructions, and you're the best
At this point, I would go with another round of Celsius and certainty. Pre-emergent won’t do anything against poa at this stage. The broadleaf weeds you’re seeing likely germinated before you applied pre-emergent. Now that temps are warmer, they’re taking off.
@RonHenry Cant thank you enough for your quick response, as always. Would applying the pre-emergent now would help from not germinating the new weeds in summer time?
Hey Ron, I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. Which is considered the transition zone. I have a perennial ryegrass, KBG, fescue mix lawn. I want to over seed with Hybrid bermuda this summer. What are your thoughts?
Hi Michael. I wouldn't do it. Your options for herbicides will be limited. The grass types have different growth rates and appearance. If you want to use growth regulator, it's difficult to know which rate is best for you grass since it's different between cool and warm season grass. Overall, I would avoid mixing warm and cool season grass. Just use a higher potassium fertilizer during the summer months to help your cool season grass tolerate the stressful time. Hope this helps.
@Ron Henry I kinda thought that's what you would come back with. I'm just a big fan of Bermuda. But reading your comment. It's probably more trouble than it's worth. I might just work in a small test plot in my backyard for satisfaction, lol. Thanks, Ron.
@RonHenry I pulled the trigger. I tilled and seeded 168 square feet area. It is totally filled in and thick with triangle bermuda. Even if it does winter kill. It was fun while it lasted. Wish I could show you some pictures. It's cut at half an inch. Hopefully, I get lucky and it comes back next spring.

@michaeldille4879 nice
Where can I get a good real mower for a good deal?
Craigslist, Facebook market place, Offer Up, and local shops that service reel mowers. Those are all ways to find a reel mower
