FamilyDriver thank you and good question👍 lol I just typed out a reply for my current 140 which isn’t valid for my old m135! No I wasn’t, I contacted a race team in Australia about oil surge, they raced for 24 hours with standard oil system but overfilled by 750 ml or similar. I did many track days with this car and never had issues, Internet chat will tell you it’ll die instantly but do your own research 👍
samellio what is the LCA off the M4? Was many of the earlier 135’s spec’d with an LSD? I only ask as I’m looking to get one very soon. Anyway of knowing it has an LSD when I go to look as main dealers won’t have a clue!
The M4 LAC's are lower control arms. They give a little less than 2 degrees negative camber on the front. The LSD wasn't a factory fit option so unfortunately none will have it unless advertised. The LSD is a dealer fit option.
@@samellio thought they looked a bit greasy, looked good fun though drifting. Looking for a 35 myself in the coming months. I'll probably get a old crap set of 18s with decent rubber for track until I learn how to back it in like you, lol.
Hi Sam, as usual, if anyone else was driving your car you'd have to say the M2 driver was a bit of a novice, but we can see he wasn't :) Was it too cold for your tyres or was that just your usual pushing past the limit? :)
Happy New year too. Can't wait for it to warm up enough for my tyres, saying that my brothers birthday is on 17th Feb so we're both going Brands for the day with Javelin on Friday 16th Feb if you fancy it. That Porsche that you let past looked nice, was it a turbo? Didn't look like he had the legs on you much either.
happy days, Ive pencilled that 17 feb in so should hopefully see you there! Yes I think the Porsche was a turbo, he was hugely quicker on the straights lol!
chasing the m2 was cool
Good video and great driving skills. Are you not worried about oil starvation on track? I’m bit paranoid about taking mine to a track day.

Another good video and again great driving. Happy days.:-)
KB Docherty thanks buddy, pleased you enjoyed it :)
Did the LCAs make much of a difference?
Banana Montana no, maybe slightly less bad tyre wear but it was still bad. The car was stock ride height, a lowered car would give more camber.
You was on that m2 towards the end. What mode was you in sport+ with gear stick over into manual. Or traction button held down with everything off
Chris hay it was with everything off (traction button held down) and manual mode for the gearbox.
@@samellio wow you held that car well considering you had no help from it.
Looking at the M135i as a track day tool. Is the Autobox ok on track?
elliot330 yes, only negative is it’s about 30kg heavier
Very nice car goes great and sounds superb!!!! Is this a standard car?
moono1 thank you. It’s runs M4 LCA’s and about negative 2 degrees camber all round plus a racechip. Also has the BMW LSD - :)

Good video. Still looked like a handful even with the MP diff? What tyres were you on?
philly10 thanks, was running westlake sport RS tyres, they weren’t great lol

philly10 good man, you’ll love the 35 great car!!

lol cheers trev and happy new year mate :)
Yeah I'll go with the cold tyres excuse, that's what I told the marshals anyway ;)

Cool, the list of cars going already is pretty interesting. Not just a bunch of Saturday night cruisers.
Webdesign Engineering services.co.uk nice, fingers crossed I’ll take the GTR :)
How much HP the M135i?
Alex Biturbo it’s not been tested but I’d guess around the same as an M2
Great drive!!!!
