I just got the Gotrax G4 and it's great. Some things the video got wrong or maybe just got updated but mine was $450 bucks, not $679. Mine has a 500 watt motor, not 350. Mine is also easy to kick start to get it going. Almost no effort at all and you are moving along quickly and fast! Great scooter.
Nice comparison review! I'm leaning towards the HiBoy, but I live in NYC and the roads are pretty rough here. definitely need those pneumatic tires. I will probably end up going with GoTrax instead.
We got 2 Gotrax scooters and we have nothing but smiles so far. I already have my order in for their new G6 which releases in a few weeks! Wish the range was better though. We get about 12 miles and we weigh about 160 each on Florida flat roads. The new G6 should get me about 20 hopefully. My wife may get the Hiboy 14 inch seated version.
I have my eye on the new GX models as well. The GoTrax GX2 I'm thinking, but I'm loosing portability with that one, being it's 75lbs. I'm still think the G6 for my main ride.
@@markerf16 yeah, it’s definitely not gonna be the easiest to store. I preordered one as I’ve been wanting a good dual motor for awhile and I have high hopes for gotrax.
i have both, so I can say the Go-trax G4 for sure for comfortability/durability……Hiboy with the neverflat tires suckass and makes leisure riding/commuting miserable…….in the end GoTrax gets the W for me
@@TheDukeTMOfficial how bad did you beat the s2pro. I'm thinking I wanna go with s2pro for hills. I currently have a worn out hover 1 eagle with external battery. It will carry my 205lb up a 7% slope and tried a 10% but it slows to like 1 or 2mph lol
literally any scooter is better than hiboy. a scooter that claims to have a 500w motor but runs like its 350. abysmal hill climb ability and poor acceleration along with a huge cumbersome body that somehow is lighter than it looks. dont believe the reviews on this scooter. i dont know how it got this rep of being the best at this price range but i promise you can get an infinitely better scooter for under 1k. hiboy is complete trash save your money.

A good choice!

That’s great to hear! I’m exited about the new gotrax models, they look they will be very competitive with the current scooters out.

Which would be better for nyc riding?
I don’t know nyc terrain, but if you have lots of inclines and potholes where you are, Hiboy, flat ground and smooth roads, gotrax
@@TheDukeTMOfficial ok thank you. I’ll go with hiboy for sure
Hey man, what do you recommend?
Gotrax G4 or HiBoy S2 PRO?
If your on relatively flat terrain that is decent (little to no potholes), gotrax, but if it’s hilly and the roads are rough, hiboy
S2 max
Defineitly the Gotrax G4, much better scooter and they now come with 500 watt motors and are MUCH cheaper than Hiboy's.

@@JonR35 so the gotrax only beats the hiboy by a couple mph but only flat terrain , the 350w motor of the gotrax can’t do hills like the hiboy
@The Duke™ thanks for the input! Helps alot. Soon many scooters its overwhelming to decide
