Honestly this is nothing new, been going on for a long time. And not just from Amazon either, people will try and return stuff like this anywhere they think people won't check it. Ive run into this crap at the auto parts store, guy brings the part out, open the box and its a old used part in there.

I'm sure they keep track of returns linked to your account. If they suspect you're doing malicious returns they'll start refusing to take em. So unless if your making new accounts or using prepaid debit cards youll probably be able to return a few items before they flag you

The lens he got in the last box is worth over 1600$ on eBay, even used. If he wants to make money and triple his profit he can just sell that and keep the rest of the stuff to himself, so quit talking nonsense.

I have bought and returned lenses simply because I thought they were too heavy for me or didn't really add anything new to what I already own. So a lens being there definitely doesn't have to mean it's broken!

Many mainstream thrift shops like “goodwill” are scams. They just take free donations from people, and sell it to make profits. Only a small % if any, is donated. Most $ goes to the CEOs of the companies. If you donate directly to a school or religious building, the items will actually be helping those in need❤️

However, they are providing a service and employing people which helps out the community. I'd donate to a Goodwill for charitable donations, but I don't think you should speak ill of people that run businesses and give people a chance for employment. Any books, movies, games, or anything that mentions the occult (like tarot decks and Harry Potter books) get thrown away. Nerf guns, water guns, marshmallow/cotton ball shooters get thrown away. Any experiment type toys (like the make your own crystal sets) gets thrown away.
This is the reason why I wont donate to them. Their policing what toys poor kids need, and throwing away all the goodwill of people, and not putting alm that stuff to use.

Hey dude, for people returning empty disc cases, you never know. It may be rare as hell, but sometimes there just isn't the actual disc inside, even though it is straight from the factory, sealed and all. Happened to me once with a Back to the Future steelbook. Never returned it though
