a pretty good city mod i found is JK's Most Of Skyrim it looks a bit choppy for me when inside the cities but not sure about that with a PS5

I fell in love with this graphic setups, the elder scrolls games have always had a special place in my heart and now I can experience Skyrim in a way I have never been able to, thank you so much for this helpful video :)
If you had an Xbox you could push this so much farther. I used Xbox series x and my game deadass looks photorealistic. It’s crazy.

I'm only just now about to play the Special Edition of Skyrim (previously only played on PS3), and these mods look great! I especially like the one that increases the saturation. One of my problems with vanilla Skyrim is the color palette and how dull and drab it can look. That's one of the things that I liked better about Oblivion.
I'm looking forward to trying some of these out.
Agree 100%. After Oblivion, vanilla Skyrim looks like a Zack Snyder film. Going to try some of these this evening.

@@ThePerpetualStudent see ive never played morrowing or oblivion. ive had pc and skyrim since 2015. now im not 100% skyrim geek i dont do alchamist or mage really or know the ins an outs but i play my way. also another bethesda gane i enjoyed was fallout 3 when that came out on ps3. i got platinum on it and only that game. i had ps4 and fallout 4 and vegas and 76 and its died on me and boring bethesda. skyrim is amazing and the graphics are pretty good and scenery. but ive never played fallout one or two as the 2D layout doesnt appeal to me in todays games. fallout shelter i enjoy because its chill. i have a GTX 1070 in my pc and play my ganes at 4k nicely and no struggle.

@@ThePerpetualStudent u dont have to spend loads if u can find second hand gpu. i have a asus gtx 970 and its good for 1080p but not 4k at all. i would buy it all on finance. hope u find a pc soon.

You people are genuinely doing amazing work, I can’t find another UA-cam that covers skyrim like this let alone on PlayStation consoles. I wonder if skyrim and other games will ever be un-fucking kneecapped by Sony’s stance on modding.
Thank you! Unfortunately I don’t think Sony will have a chance to change its stance on modding since Bethesda was acquired by Microsoft and most, if not all, future games will be Xbox/PC exclusive. It’s a shame!

I loved julihahs dirt replacer but unfortunately diabled it due to the roads being super glossy at night.was a really immersion breaking glitch
I always tell myself it's the moon that reflects on the roads. It helps
I know you’ve mentioned a bit of what some mods do but I think you should explain some examples of what the mods do. Was expecting to hear an example at 4:48 of how the interiors are changed.

Bridges of Skyrim have always some bad fame of causing crashes due to some navmesh problems.I have used it for years and I have encountered some random crashes here and there but havent be sure if its indeed Bridgrs of Skyrim.After AE though,problems have multiply tenfold
I dislike that mod because NPC’s often get stuck at certain bridges
I love the mod, but recently had to delete it because it causes structures to float above the giant camp near Whiterun.
For sure. Wooden bridges of skyrim is a decent alternative though
For the second one at 1:07 make sure you write "and" instead of "&" it doesn't show up if you use the "&" symbol.

Not all, the FPS mod doesn’t work. But all others are good and the PS5 handles a better framerate by nature so you’ll be set!

It does
Was not bad, but was very hard to tell the difference in most cases other than the light rays and the actual city changes

I suggest "Fortified Whiterun" as well, can't remember creator name. It makes it look more... Well, fortified and like they actually attempted to defend whiterun from dragon attacks. Not to mention it's just more aesthetically pleasing 😅
For anniversary edition, I encounter an error in which it cuts dialog when starting a brand new playthrough. For example, when these mods are enabled in a new play through, the dialog lines between Rolaf and Lokir are skipped. One prominent one is when Lokir asks who is the man standing next to the player, normally Rolaf answers “Watch your tongue! You're speaking to Ulfric Stormcloak, the true High King.” However, when these mods are enabled, it skips that line and Rolaf will say “I don't know where we're going, but Sovngarde awaits.”
These mods are not the only ones causing this problem, many of the old mods are causing this issue. I spent hours yesterday sorting all mods I used to play with and a small number do not cause this issue.

I was having that issue but I figured out how to fix it. Delete Skyrim. Reinstall. Download only the CC mods you want first. (I downloaded most other than player home CC mods) Then download the mods you want and do not download any more CC mods after. Fixed my game
@@danieldemicco328 thats somewhat true but booting the game up again prompts you download rest of cc and no matter how many times you reboot it it keeps popping up.

Not exactly, but you could try to tweak it with the brightness/saturation/contrast changer mod by creator Cyan49
I also highly recommend a render distance boost, as I personally despise the seemingly 10 foot render distance. Make Skyrim absolutely gorgeous, but can’t enjoy them because that render distance ruins the view.
Is there a mod available on the PS5 that won't break/ is compatible with A.E.?

Just do all of them and play vanilla it doesn't even affect trophys and none of the creation kit mods are anything to crazy most of them are welcome additions
Should I download them all in reverse basically? Like start from the last mod and work my way to the first? I just don't fully understand the order thing.
This wasn’t shown in order so you can download them in any order and change their position once you’ve downloaded it. You can find load order guides on Google or you can check out our community tab on our channel and you can see my load order I posted a couple months ago!

Obviously most of us know the FOV slider and 60 fps mods have been disabled thanks to the AE. But so has the 3P camera mod it seems.

If you're going to continue with the mod showcase, I recommend not buying Anniversary Upgrades. 74 creations can't go with mods. All creation installations cause a 0kb bug on the PS4, but the PS5 seems to be more resistant to this 0kb issue. That said, the creations added after the anniversary are great, so a video of the creations showcase would be nice too.
Done and done. We didn’t “buy” the anniversary upgrade, we got the free one that comes with 4 creation club mods. We also already made a video showcasing those 2 weeks ago!

Not sure. We had it on for many years so I kept it on when the anniversary edition update dropped. Idk what happens if I take it off.
As of the 10th of February 2024 I noticed Tactical Valthiem isn't in the creation menu anymore. I can't find it after searching "Tactical Valtheim"

In my endless search through UA-cam’s to find the best ps4 graphics mods I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m a very indicisive person cause I don’t know what to get still
I want a really colourful very green grass and bright sunny game that feels alive like the Witcher 3s graphics
@@danielscully321 Try getting the mod "Brightness/Saturation/Contrast Changer" by creator: Cyan49. It allows you to take a weather mod you like and customize it basically. Makes a big difference! Currently we use it with the "Heart of Azeroth" weather mod!
Epic enhanced graphic Is really good in daytime but in nighttime the fires are really red and the Sky so dark. I download a mod that change saturation etc but i don't know how ti settle these characteristics...
I totally agree. At the same time I like how night time is darker I guess to be more “realistic”. But hell most times I can’t see crap. If nighttime just had more illuminance it be perfect. 👌

You download them on your console. Skyrim's main menu will have a "mods" button, and it will open the library to download mods!
If you’re on Ps4 or Ps5, your choices in mods will be the most limited since Sony does not allow external assets which is what I play on. Also, if you are on Ps5, it will say Creations instead of Mods

Yes, except the FOV mod. But all the others can be downloaded at once as long as you put them in the proper load order!

Yes you’ll need to create a Bethesda . Net account, then in Skyrim you’ll select “mods” from the Home Screen and login- that is where you should be able to start downloading mods from

Are you using the PS5 version of Skyrim to capture this footage? I’d like to upgrade to the PS5 version of the game but I’m not sure what effect it has on mods etc? Or is it just the CC content that affects compatibility?
Yes we are. Switching to PS5 has only made our game better. It's obviously not up-ressed or anything but the extra power is so helpful. We recommend it!
If you have a PS5, do the free anniversary upgrade. We've definitely noticed a stability increase because it can get some of that processing done faster

I recently just got Skyrim on my ps4 pro and im completely new to it. I downloaded the 60fps mod by wreighton and didn’t follow any of the steps. After I saw my trophies got turned off I deleted all my saves and deletes the game and redid the steps but now i have no way of telling if my trophies are on. Also I’ve been seeing a lot of people asking if the mod still works so im wondering are my trophies on and does the mod work? Ik it has nothing to do with the video but I haven’t been getting answers from anyone

It appears they took the tactical valtheim off the creations which sucks cause that place looked awesome with that mod. Search for it now nothing shows up. I guess the creator is gone as well idk.
I'm really sad... I feel that my favourite game never will be the same...
I noticed some changes on the game since last update. Hadvar become stupid for no reason, he stopped on a middle of Helgen Jail tunnel, and I had to push him to continue. After this, he didn't run to Riverwood as he normally does, instead he WAIT until I follow him to go. That's incredibly unimmersive!
Another thing I noticed is a glitch on the animation of biggest pines. When you approach to one of these, the lowest branches doesn't move, but if you look a little bit higher, then they start moving. Literally, if you look directly (frontal) at a big pine, it will be petrified.
And I had to disable all my free mods to avoid that intro being bugged. I never need to do that before!
Bethesda, what did you do to Skyrim???
Sorry guys, I need to say it.
I don’t mean to shock, but Skyrim has never been not like that. They are countless bugs and issues that can interrupt immersion and game feel. But at first we let them slide, 10 years later the issues stand out in a major way.
It sounds like you have some conflicting mods with each other was causing the problem because I experienced the same thing I guess you just have to work on your load order

I got a issue it bothers me when the lights in skyrim look orange like pumpkins.
Also the skin of npcs look like jersy shore spray tans lol.
Tho i will admit some mods the world looks colorful and the plants are beautiful the water looks like water. And im satisfied.... until i look at ppl around skyrim then.... IM ANNOYED lol
I’m having trouble with my game at night. When it gets to night time it becomes so dark that I can’t see anything is there anything I can do to fix this?
Try Cyan49's Brightness/Saturation/Contrast Changer. You can manually adjust these settings via spell. Very good mod.

The Anniversary edition has broke any INI mod (FOV, 60FPS, Third person camera) and it seem Bethesda devs said they never supported those types of mods. So don't expext to see them in the future. Not at least on Playstation
Third person camera was working when I was recording footage for this video, but 60fps and FOV are not working.
It broke current ones but why wouldn't new ones be made?

@@zebraofkotor7403 yeah basically. it’s very doubtful that they’ll come back even if they can get fixed. which sucks cause both the FOV/FPS and TPC were practically essential for me
