Baldurs Gate 3 has set a new standard among rpgs, first it was Dragon Age Origins 2009-2011, Skyrim 2012-2016 then Witcher 3 2016- 2022, surprised Danny went back to Skyrim after Baldurs Gate 3 which is superior in every way.

I’m ready for the mod list!! You should keep a higher end version for people that have more recent hardware. I’ve got a 4070ti and Ryzen 9 5800x I think I should be able to get at least 50-60fps with a high end graphics mod list version!
I have been using this modlist for over a week now, It runs perfectly, in certain areas I get 30 to 40 fps, but the visuals are worth it. Most of the time I am at 60 fps or higher. My GPU is a 3070 and my CPU is a 5800X3D with 32GB of ram, just to let anyone know if they are having second thoughts about being able to run it, if you have similar specs you can deff use this modlist!!
As much as i love ESO, i have to call out that link for Apex pc builds, the price to performance ratio of their custom gaming pcs doesn't even add up, almost $3000 for a pc with a 4070 and a r7 5800x?? Unless the case is worth a $1000 this build shouldn't cost you more than $1500( and this is a stretch). Please people, do your research before you spend your money on pre built gaming pcs.
Is it possible to make requests? I'd like a mod that lets me hire a tutor to come to my house, in one of the cities, or that will live at my Hearthfire Manor, and tutor my kids for four hours a day. I'd have to pay them three Septims a day, in the city, or two Septims a day, plus room and board at a hearthfire manor. To that end, I'd like a mod that would let me build a small guest house next to my manor, in place of a horse stable. That way I can house the tutor or the steward in the small house, but the tutor would go to the main house to tutor the kids.
I am not convinced that the parallax effect is much better than other mods we can use, like Blended Roads (though one can use a parallax "filter" with other mods). Parallax can create some visual oddities or exaggerated forms in my opinion. By the way, I did not find any so-called "Parallax Textures" which I think is a misnomer (parallax does not redo or replace textures).
The original creation club mods didn’t disable achievements on Xbox do any of the new ones still do that. I want to play the new ones but want to keep achievements on
Just search for Nolvus yourself, it is either the one he's using in this video or at least as good (if not better) than whatever list he found. Save yourself the time, but do be warned that this Nolvus modlist needs a good rig to run optimally.
Bethesda will just keep breaking mods out of greed, punishing the programmers who saved a buggy/unfinished disaster, & the players who keep buying it. I own every version on PC & console, but no more. I'm done with Bethesda. They have zero respect for their fans.
The parallax textures are quite welcome out of everything displayed here in this demo. Then there is jarring changes like Camilla or Jenassa being completely unrecognizable with copious amounts of make up on them while Hod has the same old vanilla face. The textures from parallax are such a joy to look at.

Hahahaha it’s like Camilla as an instagram “influencer” vs an ordinary guy/nerd that’s kinda the contrast true xD idk why. But regarding towns there was a guy who made Whiterun into a more primitive and cold looking Viking place - unfortunately he didn’t continue cause like this Whiterun would stand out way too much. I don’t think illusion is bad tho especially regarding structures/buildings. The consoles back then aswell as the engine were limited and no bigger town felt like city not even Solitude which really is a shame. This doesn’t contradict to a more grounded setting. Unfortunately for whatever reason it feels like the minority on nexus is into a true Viking/tribe/barbaric feeling. The majority of mods are either anime (I assume the most dedicated/talented modders are Asian), p0rn (i mean it’s obvious most modders are guys), very high fantasy ( TES is a high fantasy genre and not a low one but shouldn’t be a that colourful populated by too groomed ppl who could make ads..) as well as late medieval stuff which kinda makes sense maybe but it sometimes just looks too advanced.
I really like these mod lists which hides the age of Skyrim. Very easy and convenient. Unfortunately, in my experience, there are usually 2 major issues with these. The first is stability. Very annoying having CTD's all the time. The second is the thinking behind many of the mods in the mod packs. It is the Hollywood way, where improvement = more!. If you want to improve on something, you just add more stuff to it, instead of improving the core which is already there. In Skyrim terms this usually means much more foliage in the forests, many new npc's, many new shops and stuff on the ground. It changes the harsh barren landscape of Skyrim into tropical forests. The small towns of hard working people, where everything and everyone has its place and story, into New York in rush hour, where the AI pathing gets overcrowded, 95% is just there for show and you can't interact with most of it. In the unmodded Skyrim, if you saw something cool on a shelf in a shop, you could return later that night an try to steal it. If it was there, you could interact with it. With the mods, most is just for show, and you have to scan through all the visible stuff just to find the one or two items which you actually can interact with. It is not that just adding more and more stuff is a bad thing. Some people like that. I am just not one of them. However I REALLY appreciate the effort put into these mod packs. If any of you know of a relatively stable mod pack, which improves Skyrim with up to date graphics, improved combat and so on, but still keep Skyrim the harsh, poor, and sparsely populated land it should be, please let me know 🙂 (yes I know I could sift through all the mods myself and create my own mod pack. I tried that, and it simply took too much effort and time than I have for gaming)
This why I usually drop shaders, and landscape retextures, they usually never keep the harsh tundra style skyrim goes for, the only weather mod that I think does well for skyrims theme is divine atmosphere: Aetherius, the snowstorms in it are so thick, that you can barely see where the road your walking on is, and the thunderstorms are cool as well there's actual lightning that can strick in a random place.
Fantastic environment! The NPCs looked a bit plastic though, they need some texture to their skin, like pores As an example, Bijin does a great job retexturing Ysolda
The ESO pack simply does not work, it has many errors and does not allow the game to run. Really a waste of time for your followers, do not upload packs if you are not going to check the correct operation
These mods look Really Good. I ask if someone can give me a list of the mods like this and others (like the Original Steel Arrows but Better, Powerful and fly faster and more straight, Sexy Armor for females, Better Archery Shooting in 3rd Person, Morr clothing options like Jackets, Boots for guys and ladies, and maybe to have talk with animals that the Wood Elfs can do and maybe be able to teach.) I asked so when I get my Internet back up I can do all this

any danger of a list for low end PCs that just prettifies the flora and fauna pls? a core list that doesn't touch anything else but just improves grass/trees/forests etc would be so perfect imho. a list made for vanilla plus lovers that even my lowly GTX1660 ti could run...which the more mod savvy folk could then customise to suit their playstyles by adding whatever additional mods they like... gorgeous showcase btw...🙂

Love to see you do a complete legacy of the Dragonborn (including all mods that adds displays such as clockwork) It’s the only list I’ve been interested in since LODB came into being
Seems odd to me that this guy wouldn't have a rig powerful enough to make it perform flawlessly. That plus the fact that he didn't bother telling us what he's running it on, suggests this particular list of mods might not run great on any rig. The page recommends a 2080ti or 3080 with a 12700k and 16gb of ram, my specs blow that out of the water, but I'm still not convinced this list is going to perform well for me. Wish I had more confidence in it, because it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.
Unfortunately Skyrim looks next gen only in static. Whole creation engine needs to be throw off and replaced with new one. Physics, collision, depth and range of view, environment reaction, combat mechanism, cell sizes, AI, scripting, water, body shapes and animations... everything all that feels outdated and no mod can fix it. I am not denying, that this looks massively better than vanilla 2011 game, but when you compare it with RDR2, even so heavily modded skyrim feels outdated. And RDR2 is 5 years old game running on 15 years old engine. But Skyrim is running on basically NetImmerse engine which is 27, yes twenty-seven, years old now. And no, it is not just evolution. Many mechanism and large portion of gamecode is same as was in initial release in 1997!!! I strongly believe, that Bughesda should stop working on Elder scrolls VI and do one thing. Create completely new engine or purchase full rights on Unreal engine and start new branch of it, independent on Epic (so in future there will be Epic unreal engine and propiertary Bughesda unreal engine). Microsoft is rich enough to pay for it. So they will have true next gen engine. And first game, which should be launched in this new Bughesdas engine should be another reincarnation of Skyrim. This will not only teach them to work with new engine, but also give modders motivation and time to learn new engine. Then they can restart works on Elder scrolls VI. Also this will gave Bughesda opportunity to make Skyrim as it should be (so for example implement "World eater beater" ideas to final battle with Alduin, implement survival mods into core of the game, finish original civil war story line, etc...).
Looks great, but even in this heavily edited gameplay you can see really low performance, stuttering and full mini freezes and that's with your top of the line PC.

Im guessing that this is the high end version which i tried before despite meeting the requirements but it was unplayable due to extreme stutter. Im more interest with the probably more accessible lower end version

And you should see The Skyrim Ultima, honestly modders are incredible and honestly do so much, they basically turned Skyrim into a new game and it's incredible.
Really enjoying the channel. You basically play the games the way I like to but lack the time to do. I've been listening while working and it's been great so far have gone through the bg3, sf, ow, and am currently on cp2077. Like alot skyrim is my bread and butter would love a new play through with a new mod pack maybe constellation pack! Anyways keep up the great work it's awesome getting to experience these stories and all side stories and lore that I just lack the time to experience myself.
Framerates don't look exactly good sadly. Not a fan of prioritizing graphics over performance. The engine just can't handle all these stuff regardless of hardware since it's still single threaded and drawcalls will still decimate even the highest end CPU.

My game crashed every time I press the ESC key (or J). I solved the problem by installing this mode: Dear Diary Dark Mode - SkyUI Menus Replacer SE. It will change the interface (giving you the choice of options) but at least makes the game work. And then this interface remains quite pretty. I am posting this same message in the dedicated guide for June 2022 because the algorithm having brought me to this video, people (like me) will instead come across this one and will have a greater chance of coming across the problem and therefore this resolution.
Could we get an Xbox Version, ESO Approved, to mirror your computer mod list? THAT would be AMAZING! Just as many of the same mods as possible or your recommended replacement Xbox mod. I wish I could afford a gaming computer but with 7 kids, it’s just gonna have to be Xbox for now.
There is nothing "automatic" about this. Only if you are Premium to Nexus/Vortex, 97% of the mods you have to install manually, or pay up. Disgusting. I can payup €100, np... but ffs, say so in the video. This is just a fking commercial... unsubbed aswell, i dont need this in my flow.

Empty, superficial beauty. I had almost same picture back in 2015, it only brought my new (at a time) and very strong PC down to 30-ish fps. Other than that -- same awful character and enemy models, same awful animations, same dead plants and world overall, not reacting to characters passing and touching them. Meh. Big "meh".

If I could have all these mods on my Xbox to make the game look this good, then I'd definitely be playing this a lot more. Looks absolutely beautiful

Try the Fantasia mod. It is quite an improvement from the regular graphics of the game. Ps: just like you, I play it on Xbox.

Help please! I'm new to modding and I downloaded everything correctly, but my frame-rate is not smooth. How can I fix this?
Seems odd to me that this guy wouldn't have a rig powerful enough to make it perform flawlessly. That plus the fact that he didn't bother telling us what he's running it on, suggests this particular list of mods might not run great on any rig. The page recommends a 2080ti or 3080 with a 12700k and 16gb of ram, my specs blow that out of the water, but I'm still not convinced this list is going to perform well for me. Wish I had more confidence in it, because it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.
Unfortunately Skyrim looks next gen only in static.
Whole creation engine needs to be throw off and replaced with new one. Physics, collision, depth and range of view, environment reaction, combat mechanism, cell sizes, AI, scripting, water, body shapes and animations... everything all that feels outdated and no mod can fix it.
I am not denying, that this looks massively better than vanilla 2011 game, but when you compare it with RDR2, even so heavily modded skyrim feels outdated. And RDR2 is 5 years old game running on 15 years old engine. But Skyrim is running on basically NetImmerse engine which is 27, yes twenty-seven, years old now. And no, it is not just evolution. Many mechanism and large portion of gamecode is same as was in initial release in 1997!!!
I strongly believe, that Bughesda should stop working on Elder scrolls VI and do one thing. Create completely new engine or purchase full rights on Unreal engine and start new branch of it, independent on Epic (so in future there will be Epic unreal engine and propiertary Bughesda unreal engine). Microsoft is rich enough to pay for it. So they will have true next gen engine.
And first game, which should be launched in this new Bughesdas engine should be another reincarnation of Skyrim. This will not only teach them to work with new engine, but also give modders motivation and time to learn new engine. Then they can restart works on Elder scrolls VI.
Also this will gave Bughesda opportunity to make Skyrim as it should be (so for example implement "World eater beater" ideas to final battle with Alduin, implement survival mods into core of the game, finish original civil war story line, etc...).

hey man i wana download it but i find alot of combat mods in overhauls suck, does this mod touch combat at all? it doesnt look like it
Looks great, but even in this heavily edited gameplay you can see really low performance, stuttering and full mini freezes and that's with your top of the line PC.

Soon you'll have to publish a next gen modlist for the next gen version of Skyrim but that probably isn't going to land until second quarter 2024.
I don't know if the next gen modlist felt so good tbh, it ran like shit and didnt look all the great. Maybe it was something to do with the ENB.
sadly cant play skyrim cause its broken due to the update. So I assume this new modlist will be to address that

ESO coming in clutch. Been wanting to get into Skyrim again with the only thing stopping me is the daunting amount of mods and time finding good ones that I want and installing them. Thanks for uploading at the PERFECT time!

Im guessing that this is the high end version which i tried before despite meeting the requirements but it was unplayable due to extreme stutter. Im more interest with the probably more accessible lower end version

And you should see The Skyrim Ultima, honestly modders are incredible and honestly do so much, they basically turned Skyrim into a new game and it's incredible.
starfield was pure garbage compared to skyrim

I've been listening while working and it's been great so far have gone through the bg3, sf, ow, and am currently on cp2077.
Like alot skyrim is my bread and butter would love a new play through with a new mod pack maybe constellation pack!
Anyways keep up the great work it's awesome getting to experience these stories and all side stories and lore that I just lack the time to experience myself.

If your computer isn't good enough to run it flawlessly then mine will run it like a potato.
Framerates don't look exactly good sadly. Not a fan of prioritizing graphics over performance.
The engine just can't handle all these stuff regardless of hardware since it's still single threaded and drawcalls will still decimate even the highest end CPU.

My game crashed every time I press the ESC key (or J). I solved the problem by installing this mode: Dear Diary Dark Mode - SkyUI Menus Replacer SE.
It will change the interface (giving you the choice of options) but at least makes the game work. And then this interface remains quite pretty.
I am posting this same message in the dedicated guide for June 2022 because the algorithm having brought me to this video, people (like me) will instead come across this one and will have a greater chance of coming across the problem and therefore this resolution.
Could we get an Xbox Version, ESO Approved, to mirror your computer mod list? THAT would be AMAZING! Just as many of the same mods as possible or your recommended replacement Xbox mod.

I know I was yelling and it does seem pretty tough for Bethesda-core content creators moving forward after Starfield landed like a dud and it isn't fun to watch either.
Empty, superficial beauty. I had almost same picture back in 2015, it only brought my new (at a time) and very strong PC down to 30-ish fps.
Other than that -- same awful character and enemy models, same awful animations, same dead plants and world overall, not reacting to characters passing and touching them. Meh. Big "meh".
