You don't need to repeat words across your tags unless you want to exact match for a specific search term. Because Etsy will broad match across every word in your tags. So every repeated word could be a lost opportunity. Write titles for humans and tags for computers. You can string any words together in your tags if you're not exact matching.

I agree! What about using Etsy SEO services? (Rankworks, Etsygeeks)? ANy opinion? Some of my friends did well with it. But wondering if the ROAS will be okay..
This is exactly what I have been looking for, thank you!! I'm new on Etsy (selling handmade jewelry - which is obviously super competitive) and am really struggling to be seen. Would you consider doing a review of someone's Etsy so we can see what you would change about their listing and overall brand? I have so much to learn 😅 I really need to figure out my marketing strategy outside of Etsy too 😖
So exact search phrases for keywords are the way to go since that's what you had. When I spoke with a Etsy support person they told me that phrase match had more weight or relevance than just random keywords mixed together.
Yes exact math has more weight, but that's ONLY when the AI is considering what listings to include in the results, not where you rank. There's a lot of other factors involved, so 'exact match' is basically obsolete and not a good tactic. The performance history of a listing and the marketplace score are much more important factors.
@@stockbatch4109 use exact match for the star keywords you really want to rank for. Your remaining tags can be stuffed with non matching terms, because Etsy will broad match across all your tags.
Thanks for the informative video! Would you use those title and tags for all the listings that you create on a teacher glass tumbler or would you go back and change out some words and phrases in the title and tags for say a more niched down item like a math teacher glass tumbler?
Hey Stephen, thank you what an incredibly helpful Masterclass - you are a gifted teacher and of course entrepreneur! I have a question which I'd love your thoughts on. What would you do about people copying and selling your exact designs? 4 months ago I used to get a bestseller and have a runway of about 6-8 weeks before it was copied. But now it's after a week if my sales starts spiking for a design it's copied and I'm undercut and I am no longer making profit on that design. May I ask what you would do? Blessings
Great video. It helps to see the process. I did see another well known Etsy you tuber say not to use commas. What’s your opinion on that? Obviously, you used commas. I’ve started changing my titles to no commas & now I’m worried I messed up. Thanks.
Great info. How would you work the title and tags for multiple types of the same products. Such as your many listings for face masks or dog memorial photos.
Thanks for a great content. I am wondering how this will work with a brand new listing. If I am just searching for the perfect keyword to be added to my listing, then I won't see how my listing ranks. How long I have to wait after listing for doing this analysis is a more accurate way?
@@HelloCustom can i ask you something. When you start, and have the very first sale, ¿can we use that money sale to pay printify, or we have to pay from our own pockets?. That got me thinking a lot.🤔🤔🤔

Great information on how to properly optimize personalized Etsy print-on-demand products!
Thanks Tripper!
Yes 🎉 thank you! What is your strategy? Do you design first or do SEO first?
I personally would design first and then do the SEO while creating the listing.

MMM...Great video! Can yo do a video on how do you do research on WHAT to DESIGN? :)
Thanks! I have a video that goes over my market research process in details. I would recommend watching this to determine what to design.

Hello , I love this video thank you and I have a question, what about competition? Does competition of a keyword affect how you choose them as well?
Thk u very helpful
Hi 👋 could you make video SẸO for findings and beads pls
Great info. How would you work the title and tags for multiple types of the same products. Such as your many listings for face masks or dog memorial photos.
Will you be doing videos for Amazon POD?
I feel that I’m no longer throwing spaghetti at the wall.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks for the video. Was the pet memorial frame POD product or did you actually made them?
We made these ourselves.
Thank you 😊

How can I see total views from search box, I don’t see it when using Etsy app

When will we be able to have general text boxes for personalization other than name, date, address.
Hello
Cool video, I’m selling on eBay and Etsy , do you know a tool to manage tags easily from both? Thanks
Could you reveal how much ads money you put on, to make 3 mill on sells? That would be awesome
We spent around $250,000 over 3 years.

No, Printify says adding more listing photos does not affect SEO
I must have missed it in your other videos, but why does your shop have 0 listings with 220k sales?
The shop was doing great, but we made the decision to go 100% full focus on HelloCustom end of 2023.

Hi,it is realistic to make a full income from selling shirt on etsy?
Glass Beer Can Tumbler, you are wasting title words by repeating the word "teacher" multiple times.
