- A better quality video of putting a WAHL Beard Trimmer Cord or Cordless with Self Sharpening Steel Blades back together
You want to lean the blade back so it fits over the screw holes and then push it forward on to the springy metal poles. - Навчання та стиль
If anyone’s still asking, the middle part of the two-prong spring slots and hooks on to the plastic hanging close to the whirring thing
Thanks. The spring came out when I was taking mine apart and I could not figure out what to do with the two prong. It still cuts without the spring, but it did not seem to cut as close. I am guessing that is push the blade closer to the other blade for the scissor action...
your comment saved me lmao
Thank you so much.
Can you show us how to put the spring back in ?
Seriously this video is useless without telling how to put the spring back, thats the hardest part.
As I took it apart to clean the parts dropped out. I looked at the Wahl site and saw nothing.Mine is a bit different then yours but close enough, so a big Thank you!!
Thank you. Got mine back together after not paying attention to how it came apart.
I just removed the two screws and wasn't observing how it was assembled, so many thanks. I normally video record whatever am disassembling so I can have that video in reassemble, but for some reason I didn't do this either....😅
Thanks so much! My husband took his trimmer apart and laid it on the table and said, "fix it." Your video explained it all!
You just saved me the cost of a new trimmer. After watching your video, I had it back together and working beautiful in about 1 minute. This is after 45 minutes trying to figure it out on my own. Thanks so much - I'm happy - my mustache looks great! Butch
MrFFay awesome!
Took me TWO weeks tryna figure out why my trimmer wasn't trimming. Watched this vid and fixed it in 5 mins flat. You rock!!
My boyfriend's trimmer was so full of crud, I decided to dismantle and clean it. Then I couldn't put it back together so did a search and found your video. Thank you so much! It is now successfully reassembled and he need never know how long I had to faff about with it 😄
Thank you for this video. I just spent 45 minutes trying to get this back together, after the 3 minutes it took to disassemble , clean and sharpen. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Just bought it and couldn't resist taking it apart. Panicked, pulled myself together, found this video, good as new. Thanks.
Thank you! This showed exactly what I needed with zero fluff! My only comment is that it took me a bit to realize where those thin spring bits go, they’re just hard to see. But I got it after watching a few times. :)
Was about ready to give up on them & then i found your video. Kept having trouble with the 2 prongs. Thank you so much!
Me too, I was trying to put the prongs upside down before this video
l almost tossed mine, thinking the blades got dulled. Works like new, now. Like most things, I had no problem taking it apart, but putting it back together was a different story. Simple as it is, the 2 wires had me confused. Thanks so much for taking your own valuable time to help a brother in need.
awesome... 2 weeks later after constant frustration you help me fix in 2 minutes....!!!!!
Thanks for the video mine just stopped working until I disassembled and reassembled it. Works better than new now!!!
Thank you for this!! I took apart mine to clean it before I cut my sons hair and could not remember how to put it back together 🤦🏼♀️
thanks so much for this video, mine sorta exploded when I took the screws out so never saw how it came apart. this is exactly what I needed.
Thanks. Wanted to do something nice for my man and clean out all the gunk. Then got paranoid that I was going to reassemble it incorrectly lol. It’s working soooo smoothly now 😌
That's great! Happy to help 😁
Thank you! I just got this thing and simply tapped it on the skin to shake off some hairs. Immediately stopped working. I got it back up and running thanks to your video much appreciated!
I watched five videos on the same subject, and as soon as I watched yours I got it! Thank you very much, it's all in the explanation.
Thank u so much, i was struggling for almost 30 mins trying to put it back together lol
I learned more in the first 30 seconds of your video than I did wasting 1 hour on other ones! Thank you sir!
Wonderful! Happy the vid helped you out 😁
Thank you for the much needed video, and also word of advice anyone reading this: NEVER use disinfectant spray up close to your trimmer of any kind.
I have a Wahl well over a decade old, and, although not identical to the one in your video, your video was a life saver. After cleaning the trimmer it works just fine once again! Thanks.
Now, if could only change the battery!...
Brilliant, the spring had fell out of mine so didn't know where to put it.
I love to take things apart but never get them back together, after wrestling with this for two hours I decided to UA-cam it, this video was so quick and simple. I was trying to stick the plastic piece in first, after following your steps my 12 dollar 3 year old trimmer is like new again, runs great. Thanks!
Glad I could help!
Yo, I needed this video. I have work in an hour, and have to be out doing stuff before I even head there. I was a bit worried that I couldn't get that damned thing clean and put back together. And I work in fast food, facial hair is a BIG no no. It was the little wire things that got me. Thank you so much for this video.
After putting my WAHL trimmer back together it just wasn't right. I stumbled across this video and so I gave it another try after watching the video.. Saved myself $20 on buying a replacement. Now I got my beard trimmed again. Ahhhhhh :-)
Nice!
Thank you so much! I honestly thought I screwed it up till I saw this video! You're the best!
Very good instructional video. Tried to put back together and spent an hour trying. Saw your UA-cam and was back together trimming my beard in less than five minutes. Thanks man.
This country needs more people like you, sir.
I've been struggling for hours trying to figure it out. I honestly thought I broke it. You're a top lad, thank you.
Very nice video. It really helped me put my Wahl Trimmer back together. Much better than your first attempt.
Thank You for this video. I have been struggling with this damn thing for several days when I would have time to mess with it. I just couldn't get it back together. Then I watched your video, and 3 minutes later my trimmer was working again! God Bless!
thank you. i thought it was more complicated but i followed your instructions and was able to put my clippers back together
thank you. Watching this helped me realize i had my cutting blade on backwards. Now my trimmer works like brand new.
I was messing with mine for an hour and found your video and it took 3 minutes. I dont know what people did before UA-cam but its a lifesaver.
I spent like 2 hours fighting my trimmer before reaching this.. Thanks!
I took mine apart to clean them and I thought they were broken when I put them back together. Turns out, I just missed a step (didn't line them up in the groove). Thank you for this video! Saved me some money!
Hey, a big thanks for your video! You put effort into your tutorial so that the rest of us don't have to figure it out ourselves. Cheers!
Dude you're a legend for posting this video.
Thank you
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! You saved the day!
I had opened my bf's trimmer which had never been cleaned and yeech, was it disgusting! But I couldn't figure out how to reassemble it. Your video was great! Thank you so much for doing such a close/high quality view. Thank you also for making it short and sweet. I've never figured out why people have to show their faces and talk so much when all I want is a simple answer to my questions!
Definitely just helped me. Thanks for the detailed tutorial. & the helpful comments.
Thank you very much for this useful video; I was able to put back together my small Whal 9307A trimmer.
PERFECT!!!! Thank you so very much!! I use it for my puppy. I haven't been able to trim him in what feels like a three years (It has not been that long!)!! I'm a new mommy. :) But it IS time for him to be trimmed by someone-anyone!!! LOL Thanks again for the video! Not too long and it provided all the information I needed. Have a great day!!!
Tasha Morrison so happy I could help your puppy look their best! :)
Thanks to you I was able to put back together my mini clipper. I appreciate it.
So darn jumpy, was trying to see the spring seating! Finally, caught enough in a pause to get mine seated again...
No longer wish to smash the trimmer into a million pieces - thanks for the video.
Thank you. After taking it apart, I couldn't figure the proper reassembly. Your video saved me time & money.
Thank you very much. Didn't go quite as well as your video but I finally got the darn springs lined up and the pegs in the slider finally got the screws in while keeping the lid on so to speak and not letting the lower blade pop out of its track. No easy trick. But your video helped immensely positioning is the thing and then fiddling with the damn screws with my fumbly old 70 year old fingers
Happy I could help! 😀
I don’t have a beard but this works great for trimming my golden’s paws....until I ‘carefully’ opened it to clean between the blades and pieces suddenly flew all over the place. THANK YOU! Never would have gotten this figured out.
Thanks. Lifesaver. I didn't pay enough attention when taking the thing apart.
I appreciate this video cause I was about to just throw mine away and buy a new one....but thank God there's a video for everything on the tube....lol
Thank you sir for the post. Been a big help.
Thank you sooo much. This video finally helped me put my clippers together.
Thank You for this video, I've got two like this that's undone and was planning to buy another kit just to get this trimmer
Thanks so much! This is exactly what I was looking for. Probably could have sorted it out with some experimentation, but your video saved me plenty of time and frustration. Great camera and audio work too. Thanks again!
My Wahl beard trimmer was a little different but your video still helped. My two pronged metal tension spring popped out, your video was a great visual aid. Thanks.
How do you put those springs back? I am having a similar problem
@@ngphilemusa7592 I had 1 spring, do you have more?
Yeah my 2 prong sping came out and cant figure out how to get it back in
@@joshuahurley6972 Does this explanation help? If you put it back in the way this video shows paused about the 3 second mark and put tension from the top it stays. The trick is getting the rest of the parts back on top of that 2 prong spring while holding it down with a finger.
@Bizarius thank you yes. Took me over a hour and a half but 5 minutes after you replied lol.
Thanks man! I had taken mine apart to clean and the spring with the two prongs fell out and I wasn't sure how it was supposed to go back in. Works like a charm again.
This helps me very much, I broke mine and couldn't use it for 6 months and was going to throw it away but with this video I fixed it thank you.
Thanks Rat_X_Boy for this. . this was so informative for me as like some of your commenters I too forgot how to reassemble the trimmer after taking it apart to clean it but after watching your videos it became clear so once again thankyou
This part with metal poles Fall off my wahl trimmer. I cant put it back together
Thank you MixMaster9 I was about to give up after being fustration after 2 hours of trying to put just 3 PARTS together. Key: put all pieces together first, then tighten screws, NOT: attempting to fit pieces back together individually.
Thank you so much! I woulda never got mine back together if it weren’t for this video!
Thank you for this, I just recently was able to get one after getting a new job and had to take mine apart to clean out all of the hair.
Glad I live in the generation of everything being a video online now!
This just helped me fix my trimmer dude you are the ish
If it was not for this video I doubt I would have been able to put mine back together, thanks!
Thank You!!! I was ready to throw mine against the wall lol!
I still come back to this video once a year to clean my trimmer. I think it's time to upgrade though!
Awesome! Glad I could help!
Thanks man, for the clear video. It was very helpful!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Thank you! I followed your video and (after several tries) it worked!!
I have subscribed at about 12:00 am E.D.T in Ontario,LOL,LOL,LOL!!!!! Thank-you so,so much, just by you having lots of detail and close ups of your Wahl Trimmer,I got my Wahl 73522 together!!!!! WAHOOOO!!!!!! I had it apart and sitting at my computer desk for over a week cause it frusterated me so much I tried everything to fit it back together & I realized that the slide feature with the 2 plastic things you put onto the groove part of the bigger metal trimmer part & also I thought the spring prongs were to fit in the 2 holes of the black plastic part or the big metal part,LOL,LOL,LOL!!!!! So,I was like................"OOOOOOHHHHH,wait a second!!!!!" ,I paused your video, got the Trimmer from the couch and tried it & man, that spring is just like a volcano, you put pressure on to it and you slide it around and a couple of times the little black plastic part goes flying with the 2 metal Trimmer parts so,Thank's again!!!!!
I was working on this exact issue thank god for your video.
I appreciate the vid. Cause for the longest time, my clippers have been unreasonably loud. After disassembly and careful scrutiny, I realized the black plastic part in mine had been reversed. Dunno how that happened, but I got it fixed. Cheers!
Much better - THX! It's the positioning of the spring clip that is the key to getting it tensioned and working. Couldn't see it at all in previous clip, and it appears to be floating around loose unless you get it just right before tightening blade down.
after a long time i fix it....thanks for your guidance.....
This video helped me a ton. thanks a lot
Nice one man. Cheers. As usual, I'm good at taking things apart, not so good at putting them back together again
thanks for this video it really helped me out
Thanks, the sliding part helped me a lot.
Thank you very much. You saved me much time after watching your video. Bravo!!
Dewd thx I was having hell of a time trying to put mine back togeather. Probably because I was doing it wrong! Thx for showing the correct way.
This is the one and ONLY video that helped me !! Thank you so much
5 Year old video, and people still saying: Thank you :)
you need to show how the spring fits, they often pop loose when you take the blade off, and they are hell to figure out how to clip it back in
Yes, we need a separate video on aligning the wiring when putting the razor back together. That is the smallest and toughest part.
OMG!!! Thank U so much I was having a difficult time with this God Bless U my Brother ✌🏾
I took mine apart and pieces flew in four different directions, I didn't know if I had all the parts, this video confirmed that I did.
Excellent instructions.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
Got mine back together. Thank you
very good and informative video, it worked for mine
Really easy to do with your video. Thanks a lot.
Keeping it simple works, thanks bunches!!
100000 thanks to you. I was more than 1 hour trying to solve it ....
thanks mate, i was exactly cleaning it from the cooking oil grease that accumulated inside , and this video helped me to put it back together :)))
I will start lubricating it with car engine oil instead .
My metal poles, prongs, fell out and I am not sure how to secure them in place like the video shows. My trimmer doesnt cut so that is probably the reason. Any help?
Thank You very much for this video.Great help to me !

saved my life!!! thanks for f
posting!!!
