Hi love my pups, a bit of topic but I've got roughly an hours drive home from vets after my girls c section. Would a hot water bottle be ok to keep pups warm. Or could I use an in car heated blanket not specifically for pets.

Wonderful informative videos as always! Question about insemination. After insemination is compete. Female held with rear up for 1 hr 30 min. Should no liquid at all come back out? Or will some come back out but the sperm has had sufficient time to swim on its way so it will not be expelled?
30 mins is normally sufficient 1:30 Shoukd be plenty of tine

I have a pup 12 months she got very swollen but she never bled anything been that way for two days, i checked with a wipe and theres no blood. This is my first frenchie. What do i do? Please help.

@@Northhillsfrenchies you should never breed a dog at 12 months that’s not a good idea she isn’t ready she has to be at least two years of age so don’t do that it’s ridiculous to rush a puppy into breeding
A number of vets are now recommending back-to-back breeding due to an elevated risk of pyometra in those dogs who breed alternate years. I don't believe this is a majority view yet, but what do you guys think about the pyometra risk issue?
Back to back is fine as long as last litter and mum did well
2/19 my females level was at 0.8 (day 7) today 2/21 was at 1.1 (day 9). Should I test until Friday again? Or can I just wait to see the change in color to a rosy color and go from there? This would be the first time I breed her.

How long do you wait after c section for female to recover for next litter
Next heat will be 4month approx from c section. She Shoukd be fully recovered a few months prior to that
I can't hold my Cane Corso upside down for 30 mins so we'll have to miss that bit 🤗

Hi, I recently had a litter of 9. I didn’t notice that day she was giving birth. I thought she need three more days and when I see her on the camera she had given birth to one pup, was so scared. I tried to see if she was gonna push for more but she was shakey. So then I took her to get check and for sure was ready for delivery. So when they checked her a puppy was stuck so had to do emergency c-section and another was dead inside. So I ended up with 8 pups at two days old. They ended up dying. I paid someone to help whelp best of AZ and I just couldn’t believe something like that happen.
This was her second litter first time she had 7 and last litter 9, we were surprised that she was able to carry that much. She’s a merle.
