@@kwowoah would love to know how this turned out,?, we want to breed our male blue with tiger strip Trindle i know their pretty rare so not managed to find much info on the breeding of them.
i have a solid lilac or fawn color pitbul , but his dad is a black pitbull and his mother a solid red pitbul , i wonder what their genes combinations are for him to be solid fawn or lilac i'm not sure what to call it.
great video question what if you had no pie dogs on that last example ,no cream dogs on the last example an only 1 n/kb or brindle as you call it from one parent only. would i have a better chance getting a tan pointed dog or is the odds still high an the same or would i still get brindle in that littter
So I got my cockapoo DNA test back and it show she has 1 copy of Merle. It shows big M. Her color is almost white with tan ears and a pink and black nose(10weeks old) which 2 copies of tans showed up as well. What does this mean for breeding? TIA
Based on parents color sire black tri and mom is a black n white pied the carry tri and had a litter had 4 full black tri 2 pied tri and 1 ghost tri one blue pied and one chocolate pied , what that chance off breeding one off the pups to either a chocolate, blue or lilac tri, and getting some in their litter
Ok what is my dog iam confused now ..ihave a black n white n brindle i wus told she is a trindle?? And you said since she is brindle she can't be atat or ata she has tan points or brindle where the tan points are supposed to be..??? So what is she???
Is an ayat dog always sable? My girl is a blue fawn. Her mother is blue and tan and her father is merle fawn. She isn't sable. Should I asume she is aya?
Does this olso aply for staffordshire bullterriers?
I have a sable pup and like you said it “looks” like it has tan points. If mate with a black n tan is there a chance of getting a pup with tan points
Will a copy of cream effect the color of the tan points
Might make them lighter
The sire to my litter now is chocolate brindle. Mom is choc & tan. And we got all tan pointed pups except 1. One came out chocolate brindle like dad.
Awesome. Hopefully I have the same luck. I have a blue trindle and breeding her to lilac & tan platinum.

He has more general videos than this that explain coat colours clearer. Or Google recessive and dominant genes.
