Hi James @love my pups. Love your videos as super informative. I’m in the uk tried and failed to get my champion boxer pregnant. Repro vet scanned no cysts etc and told timing was our problem. I’ve just mated her again last week Mon/weds/Fri (due to bank holiday and idexx lab shut). She now has an infection-vet said from mating so on antibiotics. My question is: is it worth me doing progesterone testing a week after her last mating and if I do and results remain high (in mmols/ml) that’s good and if low needs medication. Would you keep re testing the progesterone if it remained high after mating and if so how frequently? Huge thanks, Carol 🐾🐾
My 20 Month old dog was AI on the day her Prog level was 17.2 ng/mL. This was her 2nd Cycle (Irregular: 8 Months after her 1st Cycle). Anyway we had her Xrayed 2 weeks ago for her Due Date window which was Oct 4-6. We were informed she was not pregnant. Breeder said that maybe my dog is too fat and that I should have given her hormones during the 1st trimester after AI. I hope that in the next cycle she will be able to get pregnant.
❓❓❓ question so I heard from a couple different breeders that if there are only 2 or less puppies in the ultrasound at day 30 they abort the litter because it's not worth putting the mom through the added stress of a C-section and recovery as well as well being pups. Just so we're clear I ran the other way as fast as I could just wanted to know your opinions on this thanks in advance for all your wonderful help and knowledge keep it up
Hi I have a Question, Could a dog ovulate late and get pregnant? My dog is in her 21st day of her cycle and is flagging and letting my male dog mate her
Hi James would like to ask you as I heard that progesterone machine doesn't work well if its not used frequently with example one bitch (once or twice a year) Is that accurate ? I do remember you saying in one of your videos that it always calibrate itself. Love the all videos cheers from the land down under !
Great video thank you for all you do - I have a question my girl went into heat at eight months old.. that was in November of 2021 - in three weeks it will be an entire year that she has not come back into heat.. I read that very athletic dogs ( Winnie runs around there yard like a greyhound) do not go into heat as much as more stationary animals .. is this true in your opinion?
yes that's very true, I do know a natural herbs doctor his name is dr moses herbal treatment on UA-cam channel who can get you cure from hypothyroidism or any other diseases permanently, as a Christian you also know that natural herbs comes from GOD I can give you his contact info if interested ok. ,//////
Hi I have a question I’m thinking about using the pg600 to help my female have a normal heat cycle and I’m thinking of breeding her what r the chances of her taking
Give them a good pre natal vitamins and it will definitely help make sure you progesterone test the day you AI. Make sure you follow James advice and hold them up with finger inside while time while stimulating 😊🐶
James, very interesting content. I love watching your vids. Thanks again.
Think I will be ok with infection if antibiotics are give after insemination
4 weeks post breeding, what should pregnant dogs pg level be vs a dog that did not get pregnant.
James have you ever heard of a uterus adhering after a C-section?

True bulldog breeds don’t usually have big litters. Usually 4-5 is the max but on average 2-3 is common
I would not abort. I never do. It has its own set of complications

No makes no sense the machibe we sell is an optical system that measure fluorescence in the test sample. Use it every day or once. No difference
@@LoveMyPups awesome thanks will be in touch

Not heard that one before
Not true of humans unless they are on very low fat diets. So I doubt it

If she has missed by over a year try it but I don’t have any direct experience with pg600
