Bro i wanna know about the deadline to pay gic. Like can i pay it before on or two months before going abroad? Or do i have to pay it early?
Without paying GIC u are unable to lodge your visa file
once you register for GIC you have to pay the gic within 7 days and usually, the deadline is mentioned in the payment instruction sheet.
@Avneet Brar iF YOU ARE REGISTERING THROUGH CIBC one day after registering you will get payment instruction in which there will be a deadline provided to you.Usually it is around a week so maybe yes

Can we open gic account and personal account (in which gic will be transferred) in different banks?
I too have the same question. If money can be transferred on required basis to a chequing account with CIBC, will it solve the lack of ICICI ATMs?
Your Gic account is itself a personal canadian account..You can manage your saving and checking both things along with your Gic in the same account.
Yes you can do that, also personally what I feel is the is less need for cashing out your money as everything here is either through credit card or debit card..

hi sir, one question my immigration agent opened my GIC account in ICIC bank Canada as I did not have any knowledge about banks, but I did not transfer any money to this account, can I open GIC account in other banks like scotia or CIBC bank without any problem now or I have to close the GIC account in ICIC bank.
