I’ve been listening to Bryan since 1983. I think my favorite song of Bryan’s is “Please Forgive Me”. It has very special meaning to me.

My favorite song. Was my homecoming, prom, and wedding song. Such a great voice and melody. Future Hall of Famer with so many great songs over the years. Still sounds wonderful today. Thank you for sharing this.

Great song! Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer songwriter from the 80's-90's. He is known for his ballads & he has a unique raspy voice. Bryan has had so many hits such as "Summer Of '69", "Cuts Like A Knife", "Straight From The Heart", "Everything I Do", "Run To You", "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?", "Can't Stop This Thing We Started", "Thought I'd Died & Gone To Heaven", "Please Forgive Me", "All For Love" etc. He has won a lot of awards for his music.
Bryan is one of the biggest music stars Canada ever produced. Huge library of international hits.

Bryan Adams is from my home town! I saw him live back in 2012 (and of course he played this song). One of my favorite tunes by him is "The Only Thing That Looks Good on Me Is You". Underrated, yet very catchy!

I saw Bryan Adams early in his career when he opened for Journey in 1983. It was his "Cuts Like A Knife" tour, of course, by then he was all over MTV, and I had bought his album. The crowd wasn't really into him, they came to see Journey.
Too bad for them, cause Bryan Adams rocks!

Great reaction, Inna. Now I think your next Bryan Adams reaction should be the song "Everything I do, I do it for you". This song was part of the soundtrack for the movie "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" which was released in movie theaters in 1991.

Saw Bryan Adams live before this album came out. It was at a Texas Jam in Houston with Gary Moore, Bryan Adams, 38 Special, Ozzy Osborne, and Rush. I only knew his song Take Me Back but he made me like his music after seeing him live. He was pretty good live. All the bands were grest that day.

Written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. Originally released in 1983 in a soundtrack to a movie. Released again, in 1984, on the album Reckless.
2 years before this was released, Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance wrote Stay for fellow Canadian band Prism. That song led to Heaven. Same key!
This song and the original version of Obsession were the highlights of the B movie A Night in Heaven.
True story. Mickey Curry, who left Hall and Oates to join BA, could not make the recording session due to a prior contract requiring him to play for another musician. Steve Smith , then of Journey, came into play. Compare this to the song Faithfully, which Journey played. Very similar! And BA was the opening act for Journey that year!
Engineer Bob Clearmountain worked with BA in 1983 for the album Cuts Like a Knife and with the late David Bowie, RIP, for Let's Dance. Rob Sabino played keyboards for him. RS and BC worked on this song and. Now RS is a lecturer in music at UC Davis.
In an interview, BA wanted Nile Rodgers, who co produced Let's Dance, to produce Reckless. Listen to the Apple podcast for details.
There are really 2 eras for Bryan Adams: up to 1991 and 1991 onward. Mutt Lange changed everything in 1991 for BA.

As other comments have stressed, 'Heaven' is the 2nd video of a trilogy....The girl in this video played Adams love interest in 'Summer of '69',,,but, instead, she chose [and leaves with] the guy we see intoxicated herein. Assumedly, some time has passed and this is the first occasion where their paths have crossed again [almost!]...she appears once more in 'Run To You; highlighted by the blizzard we see through the locked door, this video depicts Adams' declaration of 'running to' his would be mistress, a choice he makes over the faithful object of his desire, HIS GUITAR.

This is the second video of a "trilogy", starting with Summer of 69, then Heaven, and lastly Run To You. The girl in this video is the same one from Summer of 69, the guy she is with at the start of this one is the same one she is with at the end of that video, so she is Bryan's "ex" and he runs after her at the end of this video, and the last thing we see is him at a door with a snowstorm outside. Run To You starts with him outside in a snowstorm, and the same girl is in the video.
