Hello, i have a 2020 yamaha r1 and just attempted to install a DNA air filter and it seem like the lip of the air filter is too tall it wont allow my air box to seal properly. Do you think the filter is defective? Any help would be appreciated.
@@stoneautomotive haha, there incredible machines. They sound and look so aggressive. Out of all the new released bikes the R1M and the triple r cbr1000 are my favourite.
Thanks Mike & glad your enjoying the videos even as a 4 wheel lover 😬 maybe if I buy a BMW 1000RR is will be a good mid-way Compromise for my M subscribers 😅
Everyone seems to use motul 300v rather than motul 7100 and it does rather confuse me. The 300v is a race oil designed for MUCH more regular changes and has no detergents etc in it for keeping the engine clean and also no stabilisers for stopping the oil breaking down quicker, as those things add friction which isn’t what the 300v is about. I just wonder if people use it fully prepared to half/quarter the oil change intervals? Especially on these early 2CR’s with their non shimmed cranks, I’d want to be doing my research. Btw great video, not a dig at you, just noticing the amount of 300v getting used in all these various videos
In all honesty I’ve never even looked into the 300v use but as you mention everyone seems to love it! Guess it’s like the old DOT 5.1 brake fluid everyone thinks is amazing as the numbers higher but leaves it in the braking system for 2-3 years 😅 I’ve always run Silkolene in my bikes and to be honest never had an issue 👍 Thanks, glad your enjoyed the rest of the video 😎
Hose clamp pliers, brilliant and very cheap! www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145108997950?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=nq_lzepmrlu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=CKFRglVnR7S&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Just got onto your vids 👍 I’m a 2cr owner aswell & agree with pretty much all your points on it. The biggest one the snatching throttle… I’ve had mine mapped & it’s night & day difference! My one advice would be a belly pan, the gap the cat leaves is a bit 👎
Hope you enjoying them 😬 Good to hear regarding the throttle, it’s actually my plan over winter to get it mapped - where did you get yours done? Yep that gap bugs me too! I’ve looked at carbon belly fairings, certainly on the cards 👍
Good thing you don't have 2 change the plugs that often. Cheers mate.
