Its not even about being money conscious..Who buys beaded earings at 1000Ksh.Unless i'm assured the money will get to the person who made it..coz sometimes these curio shops belong to big guyz in that community,I would even rather give the 1k directtly to the guyz in the villages as we tour.

A tour company just got banned for this. Not only are you ruining it for others going, you are disturbing the little peace animals have.
This must be a special breed of stupid! Who gets out of the vehicle to taunt a wild animal? Such characters should be banned from our parks for life.
For heaven's sake behave when you go to the parks. You aren't supposed to get out of the car and you are to remain silence when near animals or talk in hushed tones. Please go through the wildlife code of conduct and get educated. Stop exhibiting ignorance as its no excuse. Have fun but be responsible always. Btw the lodge is inside the park.
