You keep saying that it is not an off road bike, but when Mr. Honda designed the bike there were essentially no paved roads outside the urban areas of Japan. The same was true for most of the developing third world where the Honda Cub made its reputation.
I do believe you are having more fun with the Super Cub than if you were riding BMW's $18,000 GS or the new HD Pan American. Isn't that what it is all about having fun?
When the new Super Cub 125 was announced it got me interested in motorcycles. For my first motorcycle I ended up buying a Yamaha V Star250, but the Super Cub still has my heart :)
A Fish flapping around in mud glorious mud, nothing quite like it for cooling the blood. Poor Mr Honda can't believe what mad a mad Englishman does with one of his Super cubs.
The little toy Honda motorcycles are a lot of fun, I have several. My bikes are all the little ones that I grew up with, they are still a lot of fun. All of them are good for lots of smiles when you ride them. They are even good for smiles when you are just looking at them.
Look fine. I.m 6ft 4. Only bike I looked right on was Africa twin. But I sold that. Got 2 bullets and an interceptor now. Xmax300 as well. All a bit small but we have to live with it 👍
I keep my keyless fob (and key) in my pocket on a lanyard/paracord thing attached to my jacket belt. Walked away from the Wing too often in the past, with the keys hanging out of the topbox lock.
Awesome video mate, i've got an Africa twin a husqvarna 701 sm and a ct 125 hunter cub, the hunter cub gets the most use its just fun and thats what its all about.
Don't know if you know about it.. But steady garage told me knobby tires.. tube type will work on the super cub rims.. all their custom bikes have the knobby tires.
Now try to do that on a gs1250 with the mandatory side cases...it would have gotten stuck in 2 feet of mud and would need a full sized crane to unstuck it.
I gotta admit... I rode my c125 Super Cub everywhere.. Here in Missouri.. woods , gravel roads.. black tops.. cow trails.. even did some hill climbing in the creek.. And I'm bigger than you.
Small motorcycles make the world bigger and more challenging. Bigger more capable motorcycles make the world smaller and less daunting. Everyone gets to choose.
You may look stupid but I'm likely bigger and occasionally ride my Yamaha Zuma 50cc "monster". I also ride my Africa Twin and Bandit 1200S without looking quite as silly. I really want to add a Super Cub to the stable.
😁 Good on you 👍🏻. How do you get along with the enclosed chain case? Dose it run with an oil bath or is it simply a cover? Some old vintage bikes used this system makes perfect sense. Great post thank you.

You need one of those hunter cub ct125’s.
Not worth £4500 tho, that’s the price if you want one on the road over here
I needed my crf 😂

Hilarious video Mr. Fish. Quality!
Fair play Mr Fish, that was a right giggle 😄

I would have left it there
Tag-teamed by a brick wall. The mind boggles. 🤣🤣

Not in the uk , they said no
@@Mrfish2015, is the ct125 not coming to the UK?
@@clarson2916 I was told it’s not coming to the uk
You, my friend, are mad as a box of frogs... in a fantastic way :-)
Thanks I think 😂
Why did the digger cross the road? To get to the other side 😆😆
You silly bugger
You need a beast sticker on the other side otherwise the bike will keep pulling to the right 🤣🤣🤣
Ahh that’s why 😂
@@Mrfish2015 Am full of great advice, just ask the wife.......
Crazy stuff
Those boys in the Croydon Honda dealership owe you some commission as your videos helped convince me to get one too.
That would be nice but sadly they don’t offer
Wouldn't you fancy a CT125? Same engine but more suited to this terrain.
Yeah i wondered that as well, but maybe there isn't much real world difference, except price?
@@ohshitnotanotherknob The suspension is more up to it.
Thats funny, cheers

You have a nice stable of bikes Bob, go on treat yourself and get a cub 👍
I blame Itchyboots. Take it from me, Its fun until you drop it in a puddle and it wont start and you have to walk home.
You blame her for what?
Pick it up drain it and carry on
😁 Good on you 👍🏻.

Just oil as a normal chain , the guard just keeps the crap out

Yes and no , can’t afford another
Found you through Quasimotard's discord. Subbed.
