- A major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering is one of the most valuable in America. It gives high earnings and high levels of employment. I am a naval architect student. I can tell you that it's a great profession. It's very challenging because it involves all branches of physics and mathematics, such as mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, statistics, mathematics, electricty. .. It also involves naval engineering subjects such as stability, seakeeping, ship structure, hydrodynamics, and more.
At the end of the studies, you really gain a deep understanding of how the world around us works, unlike some other branches of engineering that are closely related to their profession and don't know some basics of physics. Building a ship and other floating objects or offshore structures requires a lot of knowledge and learning throughout your entire life, but it is also a very interesting and fun profession and I'm glad that I decided to pursue it. This video only scratches the surface of what it's all about, but it's a very nice video. Keep up the good work!
Indian Institute of Technology -madras also have undergraduates postgraduates at one place in naval architecture and ocean engineering department and it has a water basin .it has been creating marine engineers since 60 years.
