Very interesting and well done. The little man on the train puzzles me. Is there really a little man on the train or did the director throw that in for fun (some people in comments says it's the director)? Seems like an homage to the Hitchcock films and cameos.
I love how Gomez’s scale model train set can make the whole mansion shake, as if full sized trains were racing around on nearby tracks. Only with the Addams family can that be possible. **snaps fingers twice**
Hahahahaha, as someone who actively collects Postwar Lionel, those things will actually actively shake a house if you don't have adequate sound deadening. If I have a track set up around the Christmas tree, you can hear it from anywhere in the house
Not to mention the trains somehow get reversed or would’ve run into dead end spur tracks but still don’t crash. I wish I knew what kind of “disappearing” layout he’s got
Probably just a regular ZW, one's enough to run my entire layout and accessories, but then again it's a small layout. I'd imagine the diesel was parked on an isolated track controlled on one of the handles, then as it crossed over the isolated section onto the main it went over to the same handle as the steamer. As for reversing, there's probably a loop or a figure 8 somewhere, with Lionel non-derailing switches and the right track plan it's entirely possible to get this sort of action going. AC 3 rail doesn't care about direction lile 2 rail DC, as the inner rail is always hot and the outer rails are always neutral/ground no matter how the track twists and turns.
If you remember halfway through the movie when Fester comes down for breakfast, Morticia asked him how he slept and Fester said "Out like a light!", which Gomez then exclaims "We HAD to chain you to the bed!". Also Gomez wasn't getting suspicious until Fester said "How do you take this off!?" referring to the chinese finger trap which set Gomez off even though it was later revealed near the end of the movie that Fester had amnesia which is why he couldn't remember that the trick was his favourite party favour or the combination or the passcode or the cigar etc.

This scene reminds me of an iteration of Victor Frankenstein that I wrote; where he'd conduct a seemingly random and meaningless experiment just to see something explode whenever he was angry. Frankenstein also had a shed where he'd smash up worn out lab equipment to blow off some steam when he was pissed. Henry Clerval was also there to support his friend throughout Victor's long tenure at the university, encouraging the young Frankenstein to feel and be with his emotions so that he can have a clear head for when classes started up again. While at university; Clerval and Frankenstein met an unlikely friend in the form of a young hunchback janitor named Igor Strautman. Strautman was a genius much like his new friends, only Igor's genius was in medicine while Henry and Victor's genius revolved around chemistry and engineering. Together the three of them came up with the Lazurus Formula and created the monster, that was later named Adam by Igor. The monster was intelligent, well-spoken and aside from a grotesque face and skin color was very handsome and strong...but was also lacking a certain spark and couldn't connect with people well. This eventually turns into ASPD (anti-social personality disorder) as Adam descends into psychopathy.
