- Bayonetta on the hardest difficulty with a few minor limitations to ensure I'm not cheesing through the game with exploitable strategies.
• Scarborough Fair is set to pair A for hands and feet. No ifs ands or buts (only Bayonetta's butt). All other weapons can be swapped in and out for pair B.
• No Rodin
• No Pulley's Butterfly
• No Bracelet of Time
• No Evil Harvest Rosary
• No Kilgore/Durga glitch
• No Kilgore jumping exploit (using it in normal combos is fine)
Lets see how far I can go with this ru- wait a minute. I finished it. Holy crap, I actually took the time to finish this. Woo! Go me! Anyway, hope you all enjoyed this Pure Platinum adventure ever since I started it 2 years ago. I'd say it's finally over, but there's still the matter of pure platinum'ing the second game....

For the super observant viewers out there, you might be wondering: What is up with those 4 golden orb slots in my magic gauge? I'm using the Golden Orb that you can purchase in Angel Attack (grants you 2 free magic gain in the next chapter) along with equipping the Eternal Testimony, which essentially does the same thing which stacks, giving me 4 passive orb gain, which is hella helpful for the "Use Wicked Weaves only!" alfheims.
Does this not affect your score like using lollies etc?
@@kl6782 nope. Since you can only purchase it in angel attack and can only be used for just one chapter before buying again, it isn't considered a cheap tactic, especially since it behaves pretty much like eternal testimony. It's just a clever way to use your magic :)

It happens. It sucks. All you can do is pray the planets align properly so that you don't mess up.

Good luck, don't give up! Both Rodin and Lost Chapter are certainly difficult to clear, let alone to PP them, but are super fun and satisfying.

You make it look very tempting to learn dodge offset
Learning it has major benefits. For me, it's fun to use because it gives you more leg room for creative combos.
I've only recently gotten the timing of it down but man is it fun to do, especially with how bullet ricochet is basically a necessity to master in bayo
It also gives easy combo points so there's that.
what do u reccomend for verse 6
How do you always do the durga wicked weaves? I can't find a way to pure platinum verse 7 and this might be the way to do it
If you're talking about how I'm doing those giant claw swipes with every attack I'm doing, that's just part of Bayonetta's serious mode which she activates during every boss fight, granting her wicked weaves for every attack she does.
Basically, just equip Durga during a boss fight. That's it.
@@SetnaroX really that's it? I've seem some other people do it and I thought it was some OP shit. I haven't played in a while but I was mostly a Shuraba\Scarborough guy so I didn't really use them. I have all P Platinums except for this stage because I couldn't get it on verse 7. I'll have to try it that way
@@elvispresley8168 what you're probably seeing are folks equipping the Climax Brace, a special accessory that you can unlock by finding all the hidden birds in the game. It lets you use serious mode whenever and wherever you want. Only downside is you go down a rank for using it.

One thing though, I did this run (save scumming, of course) but I didn't unlock Jeanne when I completed the last chapter. Jeanne can't be unlocked getting platinum on NSIC?
You can't unlock her if you do a platinum run on Very Easy and Easy. Every other difficulty is fair game. Check and see if you actually did get a platinum trophy across the board and if you did, you probably had the Climax Brace equipped which doesn't save your record thus you don't get to unlock Jeanne.

I'll get back to doing a Bayo 2 PP run eventually. I took a break from everything Bayonetta because I burnt myself out working hard on that last combo video. Eventually I'll start rolling out more Bayo content. I have that collab video I need to focus on after all.
I totally understand that. This game is really fun, but playing it for a long time (mainly if you're trying to no damage shit, goddamn joys) can really get tiring.
And I saw that there are some changes that you don't like in bayo 2, so one more point for that
I know I'm nearly a year late here but you're supposed to start a new game to be able to select a character for that playthrough, don't worry as it will be a separate save slot

Can you take damage and do nothing in the ending credits and still get the pure platinum?or do you actually have to take no damage and beat those fights?
You still need to actually fight and not take damage.

I'd say I got 5-6 retries. Really the only tough part in this chapter is dealing with the angels that keep following you while you fight Jubileus and since the camera is a mess here, it's hard to see where they pop up, like how I got hit at 10:45.
