My tip is. Pre plan everything. Have furnaces making a ton of copper and a boat load of bronze... Boat load. Trust me speeding the bridge and the polluted water. Feels amazing. Upgrade your land as fast as you can. More space means more profits. Dried apple slices are the best food. Devote your life and repair the tree farm for unlimited wood for life. Takes a while to fix but it's worth it. And the skill "hot shot in the commission" is very amazing if you want easy money and fly through the ranks. Higgens is crying with every point you put into it. Also max out the "gift" and "wish" social skill. It's pretty good for power leveling friendships as I've seen
I was agreeing with most but I have to disagree festivals aren't lost days they are a good way to build relationship points especially if you've noticed what people like more. If you go out days before a festival and get all the materials you need you can have so many things being made while you're at the festival gaining as many extra relationship points as possible because it's all doubled that day so even a neutral gift goes for two and it's worth it befriend many of the town people because they have perks. And sure okay dates open but this is a faster way to add to it.
Great advice about the origination for storage. I let mine pile up far too long and then took an hour real time sorting and moving inventory around. Start early and stay persistent!
My biggest mistake. I went through an entire season (spring) without realizing I could stretch out the days much longer. Wasted so much time because days were so short I couldn't get much done. If I ever play this game again, the first thing I would do is to make the days last as long as possible. I can always go to bed early if everything is done, but usually, I'm still running around at the last few minutes, trying to use up the last of my energy by killing llamas and chopping brush. LOL.
Something you didn't touch on that can help a lot. On Event days give gifts to people you wish to increase relationships. The number for how much they like it doubles. on top of any point increasers you have. Also, get friends with Gale, Arlo, and Albert especially as they give great bonuses to being friends and best friends. Arlo gives you fighting bonuses. Gale gives discounts on land purchases and Albert gives discount in A&E construction. They are great to be friends with. Also kids are an extension of pets. There is very little you can do with them, except feed and you really do pet their head like a dog. In my opinion as they are now I don't like them and they are expensive as their milk is around 100 Gols. So if you don't want kids just upgrade the house to a level 2 and no further. And currently there is a bug. Aadit if you try to befriend him make sure you keep your saves until after that 17th day of spring the first year. Because his quest will occur before you can complete it.
@@Dranina You are most welcome! :D I just learned the sort all after a long time lol. Thank you! :) The only exception to the double point gifts is Ginger. I have only gotten at most two but am still leveling up the perk for 2 points a gift.
My biggest mistake was not understanding how the comprehensive machines worked. When I figured out that they took the base raw ores and other materials instead of cooked ores, I was shocked and amazed how useful it was. For new players, make sure you get the comprehensive machines. They will help you out more than you know.
@@aBlackboywithRedeyes Thanks for feeling that too. Cuz at first I did had thought that I was the only one who feels like that. But I’m glad that you feel the same way too. But now I’m really taking it easy and playing it now and I’m also taking my time at it.
Really great guide. This is such a good game - it's the one slice of life type game that actually gave Stardew Valley a serious run for its money and at this point, I kind of like Portia a bit more, tbh. Great stuff. Are you looking forward to the sequel?
I'm on Android, I use high resolution, low graphics, no shadows. Thats all my phone can handle, but it handles it without any lag or crashing. Very stable game.
I'm still struggling to find caterpillers to fish! I want to buy them but they don't seem to be available at sophie's when the wiki says that's where they are sold?
Thank you tip! I noticed it after a while as well :( Since it was one of the first (if not the first) non-playthrough video I did, I see it as a learning curve and something I should take into account better in videos I've made after this one
(Not a hate comment) I do not understand why advice/tip on the game is needed, if the meaning of the game is in development. You have to develop. Receiving information from others, they develop at the expense of you, and you only use everything that is ready. Is it so interesting? I also play, spent a year and a couple of months in Portia, but all the time I looked only at once how to enlarge the plot, because I did not notice the sign xD Like from me~
Some people miss things that the game tells you, like the "sort all" option, so it is useful for some to hear those tips. Also not everyone has enough time to figure out the most efficient way of doing things and they'd rather get advice from someone else. There are also certain things to do early game that will greatly improve late game, which you obviously won't know about unless you either play through it or have someone tell you, and it is easy for some people to get burned out if they get stuck on something they could've avoided

I can't imagine having to sort everything at a later moment 🙈

Another tip that I found out that I did not know is you don’t have to chop wood if you go to a and g you can trade stone for wood one to one ratio
Thanks for this! I just started playing, I'm on day 11, and this was super helpful :)
Glad it helped and good luck!

I have the same mistake of not Reading 😅
But thanks to Stardew Valley, I've learnt how to organize, stock and remember 😆
Happy to help :D
tip 0: exchange 1 rock for 1 wood at back of a&e construction
Wait you can do that??? I was selling my rocks for half a gol because I have literally thousands.
Not all heroes wear capes.
Deserves more subs.
Thank you :)
Nice, thanks for the tips, I love this game :)
Glad you enjoy it!
This tips and tricks is one year ago but i definitely use this on mobile version.. im looking forward to this game...
Me: I’m like trying to take the game at my pace of speed.
But honestly though I was panicking and trying to gather stuff all at once.
Lol I know the feelin

You're very welcome!
Except for fishing competition it's not a lost day you will make 30k+ during that time
thankyouu :)
I play android version ...you can play sd860 ultra graphics setting

What day are you on? They should be available from the start but otherwise just pick herbs and snake berries from the ground
@@qashrina4402 I figured out they were on the second page of the shop (that i didn't know existed for a while lmaooo)
I should be multiplayer like hay day has on Android and Apple
That would be a lovely thing. Unless it will be such a waiting game as Hay Day. I don't want to wait literal hours until one of my planks are done 🙈
Nice video but the music is too loud!! I can't understand alot of what you are saying because of it. :-(

@@Dranina No worries. Probably most of it is my fault. I'm old and get easily distracted by music.

Terrible tip telling folks to chop wood.

You're very difficult to understand. even the closed captions generator is having a tough time understanding you.
