What's funny about your road trip idea is that the spongebob pilot was originally going to have spongebob and squidward going on a road trip, but it was scrapped and re-tooled into the Krusty Krab pizza episode.
Hey Pieguy, I think I have a subplot/motivation for your 3rd small idea: The Krusty Krab gets shut down from a health code violation, and while Spongebob and the others are at their new jobs, the subplot could be that they must find out why. Was it Plankton on sabotage? Was Patrick back there and made a mess but didn't mean it? Or do the health workers actually have it out for Mr. Krabs himself? Do you think this is a good idea?
Or...maybe mr. Krabs gets arrested or in some type of trouble for his years of not paying spongebob and squidward an adequate salary or something along those lines.
I had an idea for a special similar yours. It's where SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, even Patrick and Sandy become the most wanted people in Bikini Bottom because they were accused of being assassin's. For when they were delivering a Krabby Patty to a group of royals, and having it explode destroying their entire mansion. So SpongeBob and the gang have to hide in another city and trying to live a new life, while trying to figure out how all this happened. Each information they get leads to something unexpected from the other characters and how it all ties in with this plot. Leading to an ending that might shock a lot of people for who caused this to happen. So what do you think?
A SpongeBob road trip TV movie could be a lot of fun. The stakes don't even have to be as epic as trying to get King Neptune's crown like in the first movie, but you could still have a bunch of hilarious mishaps happen with the characters.
Hey Pieguy, I had an idea for a Spongebob TV movie; The War of the Pencil. The plot is that the Doodlebob from Frankendoodle returns and uses a magic pencil to create an entire doodle bikini bottom with doodle versions of the characters. When Spongebob and Patrick discover Doodle Bottom, this leads to a battle between the real Bikini Bottom and the doodle one. What do you think?
I think it'd be hard to make it work, Doodlebob is an inanimate piece of paper now and the pencil went back to the artist and all that. Still, it sounds pretty awesome, I just don't know how it would work.
Wait, I just had in idea. Spongebob is in his library when he finds the book he trapped Doodlebob in. He opens it to check on him and finds Doodle Bottom. He shows it to all his friends and Sandy's scientific curiosity leads her to make a machine that takes them into the book. Clears up all the problems I had, and gives an opportunity to team up with Doodlebob (remember, he was happy to be back on paper).
I like the idea of the Great Krusty War but I think a few alterations could be made to make it even better: When Spongebob and Krabs go to war, Spongebob recruits Patrick, Sandy and Gary to work at the Krusty Krab 2 whilst Mr Krabs recruits Squidward, Pearl and a reprogrammed Karen to work for him. Meanwhile, we have a Plankton subplot where he breaks out of prison (because remember, he was arrested at the end of the Spongebob movie) and he restores Karen to her original programming and gets her to try and sabotage Krabs whilst Plankton replaces Gary with a robot Gary piloted by him and he tries to sabotage Spongebob so he and Karen can eventually take over both Krusty Krabs
I think it would be impossible to have a Spongebob TV movie without Patchy. It would be inconsistent, whether or not people consider Patchy himself entertaining. However, getting rid of his dumb antics in place of better incorporation to the plot would be interesting. Just imagine if Patchy was actually incorporated into the plot, rather than just have him briefly mention it. I see a lot of possibilities with something like that.
I'd love something that had the Spongebob characters going in the real world but to make money for the ride home they need to get jobs with Patchy at a burger shack.
Totally agree. Here are a few other suggestions I have: 1. Change something- Have one of these specials actually experience something. Almost every single special I've seen ends with the whole thing going back to normal. Nobody learns anything, nobody experiences anything, we never see anything new about these characters, and the entire special becomes worthless. The whole point of making a special episode is to develop the characters better, or make some sort of change with the course of the show. 2. DO something- There has already been so much potential from these specials that just go down the drain. The writing in these episodes is just so lackluster, and they don't take advantage of any creative possibilities with these characters in the certain situation. Sure they have the basics, but they don't expand on them even a little. These specials also need one important thing: ENTERTAINMENT. Would it kill you to make your special even a little even a little exciting or fun? In most of these stories, they don't even do anything at all (most particularly, Spongebob You're Fired). 3. Don't lie- A lot of the ads for the Spongebob "specials" are literal lies. For "Spongebob vs the Big One", they said in the commercials that one character wouldn't return. In the end, everybody, even Johnny Depp, lived. In "Truth or Square", they said how we'll finally learn about the Krabby Patty formula, or how Sandy and Spongebob will get married. They were all proven wrong. People, these practices aren't "exaggerating". These are LYING TO YOUR FACE! These are seriously just the basics, here.
My idea would be to do a movie with Squidward as the main character. We've never seen him prevail in much, let alone an adventure. And you can have Spongebob come along too.
13:21 Oh my god, I could totally imagine a joke where Patrick comes up with insane marketing strategies while Squidward comes up with some rational ones. They both have them written down on huge stacks of paper and on the way to the board meeting for the KK2, they bump into each other and the notes get mixed up. Then Squidward ends up having to read something silly that Patrick wrote and pass it off as a rational strategy to Spongebob (or Sandy, whoever is in charge).
Great ideas. But here's mine. So Squidward is constantly tourchered and he decided to run away. When SpongeBob and Patrick go to annoy him the next day they find a angry and sad letter about SpongeBob ruining his dreams and annoying him. Patrick is oblivious to it until SpongeBob actually yells at him but it heartfelt way. He goes to ask everyone to help at the krusty krab. But there all jerks and ignore him and talk bad about squidward. However SpongeBob gives a heartfelt speech about squidward. Meanwhile Squidward is going town to town but he keeps failing to get a job. SpongeBob and his friends find the cities but he keeps leaving before they catch up to him. Then Squidward find a empty area where he decides to live his life. But he gets attacked a Tiger shark, yes a Tiger shark. But SpongeBob and everyone come and save him and we get a song about Squidward that is actually sung well. Squidward decided to come back and everyone cheers and end with a optimistic song by Squidward. How is that?
Ah, it's wonderful to hear your ideas, Pieguy! The first idea plot sounds a bit like one I used to imagine would be the SpongeBob finale, where he gets his license and has to learn to mature just a little bit, along with the other characters. Yes, Nick tried to have a whole mini-series of sorts with episodes focused on vacation-y themes (looking forward to seeing your opinion of them in what should be the next season), and actually, with much better writing, all of those mini episodes could have tied together into one movie instead of seven episodes that are basically taking place in the same time--during a slide show viewing with all of the main characters recounting that. Sadly, the way it turned out was basically Truth or Square again, but broken up, and without the marketing lies about secrets getting revealed. I wished they WOULD spend more time on character development, as well as character conflict! That's what makes the dynamic of the cast work, that's what makes for the best dialog in the show! And the writers have acknowledge this in the past! Second idea: *sigh*, they missed out on this one, big time. It would have been cool to see Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy at least make a guest appearance of some sort in the 2nd theater movie, too, maybe giving SB and the gang moral support and advice as they become superheros for that day, or whatever is supposed to happen with that. MM and BB deserved a lot more episodes then they ended up starring in, and they'll be a missed portion of the show--that is, if Nickelodeon does decide to quietly retire those characters, which I have a feeling they won't, because it's new Nickelodeon and they have no decency. -_- Third idea: Now this plot point of all of the characters having to take on a new job--or even just SpongeBob and Patrick taking on a new job, since new Nickelodeon insists on focusing on their dynamic for some reason--is something that we should see in more episodes, period. We could see them become Zoo Keepers or run their own business again like they tried to do way back in season 2--the ideas are endless. And it would be focused simply on them screwing up or doing so well that they end up losing the job anyway. They could even be constructed around reference gags like Drake and Josh did with the Lucy and Ethel in the chocolate factory, and Spongebob and Patrick are working on a Krabby Patty constructing conveyer belt and have to find hilarious ways of hiding the unfinished Patties from Krabs before they get fired. Something like that. But I agree that it could make a good idea for a TV movie as well. The BIG idea: In a universe where SpongeBob cared about continuity whatsoever, this would be an awesome movie. And it would be even more interesting to fans such as me now as an adult and understanding (at least it is rumored that) the time in which the Krusty Krab 2 exist is in the future, ahead of the entire television series. I don't know for sure if it really does take place in the future, but it would explain a lot of the continuity errors. I'm curious about the time that the 2nd movie is supposed to take place. Everything seems sort of messed up, having season 4 take place right after season 3 and what happened in the first movie is, supposedly, not going to take place for another 20 years after that. But that's what happens when a show is set to be cancelled and then is saved by popular demand at the last minute. On the story level, I really wish the show still had the maturity to be able to perhaps have such an epic ending where SpongeBob finally shows Mr. Krabs that he's more than just his meager frycook, and that he's come a long way to understanding what it takes to run a restaurant--everything from becoming an obsessed waiter to beating the Patty Gadget in a speed contest. And it could play on the father and son relationship that they've sort of developed in the early seasons. Though I'm not too sure about the ending where SpongeBob relinquishes the Krusty Krab 2 to Mr. Krabs and goes back to just being a frycook. It does sound like how Nickelodeon would end such a special, but if it's going to be the big end of the entire timeline of the series, a resolve without any change would still feel like bit of a middle finger to some of the fanbase, especially after the big final epic TV movie which is supposed to conclude the timeline.
It's sad that the voice actor of Mermaidman died. I live in Germany and in season 8 Patrick's voice actor got fired and in season 9 the voice actor of Squidward died. It totally ruined everything
One plothole with the ending "The Big Idea: The Great Krusty War," is Spongebob wanting to be a fry cook again, since it was kind of use as a joke at the end of the first movie when Squidward suggests to SpongeBob that he does not really want to be the manager after his journey, which is then followed by SpongeBob eagerly taking the position anyway. I think a better ending would be for Mr. Krabs to retire (FOR GOOD) and Spongebob becoming the manager of the original restaurant while Plankton becomes the owner of the second one after his rekindled friendship with Mr.Krabs. Years later SpongeBob has hired a new permanent fry cook and arrived early for work, just like he did in his days as a fry cook, and at the end he gives the same peep from the first episode of the series when Patrick was motivating SpongeBob to get the job "Who's ready? I'm Ready. Who's ready? I'm Ready. WHO'S READY? I'M READY!", cue in credits. Aside from that, I think that this idea this worth being the synopsis in being a theatrical movie.
***** Hey, that's not a bad idea. My logic for SB wanting to be a fry cook again, is that by the end of the SB movie, he hasn't actually done any manager work. He thinks it's what he wants, but doesn't yet realize the responsibility.
The Great Krusty War Synopsis:Mr.Krabs bet SpongeBob that he can't get 200 customers into the Krusty Krab 2 in two days. If SpongeBob wins, Mr.Krabs has to give Krabby Patties for free.If Mr.Krabs wins, SpongeBob loses his job as manager.SpongeBob finds out that Mr.Krabs is cheating by telling people not to go to the Krusty Krab 2. This gets Mr.Krabs mad because if he tells people not to go to the Krusty Krab 2 then he'll lose money but if he lets them go to the Krusty Krab 2 then he'll have to give away patties for free.SpongeBob gets help from Patrick as a fry cook and Sandy as cashier.Mr.Krabs sees this and gets help from Plankton as a cashier and Pearl as a fry cook.It gets out of hand and turns into war then Sandy has an idea to turn the Krusty Krab 2 into a robot and Plankton steals the idea by turning the original Krusty Krab into a robot as well.Meanwhile, Plankton attempts to steal the formula while SpongeBob and Mr.Krabs try to sabotage each other. In the end, they both end up losing and SpongeBob remains manager of Krusty Krab but instead of keeping the Krusty Krab 2, Mr.Krabs gives it to Plankton and they become friends. Then Plankton creates a bomb to destroy the Chum Bucket but takes Karen out of the Chum Bucket first.
I love your ideas!! Spongebob getting his license (finally) is something i wanted to happen for a while. I was thinking of an episode too. Not a movie but a regular 11 min episode (or a 22 min special) where Mr Krabs wants to expand the Krusty Krab. Not like the KK2, but like how McDonalds is in more than one location. The most famous one would of course be in Bikini Bottom, however, Mr Krabs is eager to expand the location of his restaurant. There could be other cities around the ocean instead of JUST Bikini Bottom. Like in Powerpuff girls. There was an episode where they go to Citysville from Townsville. Mr Krabs goes to a business meeting to get his plans together. Plankton could get involved by either copying Mr Krabs' idea, OR just trying to stop the whole thing from happening.
I like that idea too. If they ever get tired of boating school episodes (I know I am) and they don't want to have another Demolition Doofus, this would make another good TV movie for the 20th anniversary. Spongebob's Crazy Road Trip could be even better than Squarepants Family Vacation, especially when you got more characters involved who have to deal with each other and learn to get along. Speaking of getting along, it's a shame Mr. Krabs and Plankton couldn't listen to Spongebob and support each other as classmates in Teacher's Pests, which is what they are in that episode. Imagine if Spongebob did their version of A Christmas Carol with Mr. Krabs playing the role of Ebenezer Scrooge and Spongebob playing the role of Bob Cratchit?
SpongeBob and Patrick become enemies due to Patrick not sharing the Krabby Patty toy in Yours, Mine, and Mine. This would also involve Mr. Krabs and Plankton who also used to be best friends and were socially awkward. SpongeBob obviously keeps his job at the Krusty Krab and Patrick gets a job at the Chum Bucket and somehow learns to make chum delicious and cook well which gives the Krusty Krab some real competition. The whole movie would be a war between SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs and Patrick and Plankton, all of which were former best friends of who can get the most customers but it would secretly be more about work for all of them. It would be about being better than each other. As time goes on, SpongeBob and Patrick then realize that they don't want to do this and the whole thing becomes harsh and stressful and Krabs and Plankton then become more evil. Patrick and SpongeBob then apologize to each other and they make a secret team up to try and stop Plankton and Krabs... To be continued
Continued: ...by making their own restaurant. Plankton and Krabs then find this out and they hire some random Bikini Bottomies or maybe Mr. Krabs rehiring Jim and Squidward working. Plankton also hires Karen and also SpongeBob's cousin, Stanley S. SquarePants to sabotage SpongeBob and Patrick. SpongeBob, however gets his cousin to side with him along with Sandy and Gary. Plankton and Krabs also work together and become friends so they work together to try and defeat SpongeBob, Patrick, and co. Eventually, the tension builds up so much that Krabby Patties are blown all over Earth. SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, Gary, Stanley and Mr. Krabs, Jim, Plankton, and Karen's restaurants are destroyed. Plankton and Krabs then reveal they become friends again to everyone in Bikini Bottom. Everyone then rebuilds the Krusty Krab and Chum Bucket and they celebrate. The credits would then show a slideshow of the good times the 7 main characters along with a lot of the secondary characters... Continued...
Maybe for the big idea it could open with Mr. Krabs in his office writing something looks up goes over into the grill area and have a conversation with spongebob like "Hey spongebob." "Yes Mr. Krabs." And he walks over to the window in the grill area and you can see the Kristy Krab 2 "remember when we built that" says Mr. Krabs" "Yeah" says spongebob. "Well why aren't you mangering it?" "Oh" then it transitions to spongebob at his desk trying to hire people
TV movie idea: PLANKTON ACTUALLY GETS THE FORMULA. He then spends most of the movie trying to gather all the ingredients while spongebob tries to sabotage plankton and stop him. In the end plankton finally gets the ingredients but when he makes the krabby patty, it's hideous and bad because he can't cook it how spongebob does. This is a good idea because nick can market it as 'the secret formula finally revealed' but at the end Mr. Krabs changes the ingredient to something 'better' maybe the secret ingredient isn't revealed to the viewers. Also maybe they can get creative like they trick plankton into thinking he was dreaming the whole time, doubting the formula he claims to have gotten.
Maybe a good way to end the Krabs/Plakton conflict would be coming up with a new patty formula that works for Plankton. Surely there could be some sort of epic quest to come up with a new formula, and they could still have Plankton desire both formulas afterwards if they wanted to.
Small Ideas: He's a snail. Plot: Gary cooks a krabby patty for Spongebob with snailpo in it. One of the ingredients was snail potion when if someone eats it, they turn into a snail. Spongebob eats the krabby patty and starts making tone-deaf noises so he asks his friends to turn him back into his normal shape.
I’ve got an idea for “SpongeBob’s Crazy Road Trip”. You know how it’s a common story trope for the hero to think they can solve the problem by themselves, only to learn the importance of teamwork? What if we did sort of the opposite? SpongeBob feels bad that he got his friends lost in this town, and wants more than ever to fix his mess, but he knows he can’t do it without his friends help. From here it can go two ways. 1.Everyone is mad at SpongeBob for getting them lost, and insist that he fix the problem on his own. 2.No one can get along for long enough to help SpongeBob find a way home. Throughout the episode SpongeBob keeps trying to save the day, but keeps failing because no one is helping him. At the end the characters realize that they need to help SpongeBob, so they forgive him/set aside their differences, and come together to solve the problem.
Mr Krabs I have an ideaaaa. What if Dirty Dan and Pinhead come to Bikini Bottom. So sandy and spongebob have to fight them. Or what if SpongeBob gets fed up with how Mr. Krabs treats him and squidward so they run off and make their own business.
The Bird the first idea is brilliant! but the second one just doesn't work. Spongebob is simply happy with the Krusty Krab, he doesn't care if he barely gets payed or has to get up at 4 AM. There's just nothing that would make Spongebob hate his job.
@@wariolandgoldpiramid Plus they already got fed up with their treatment in the episode where they went on strike. I'd pay good money to watch Sandy fight Dirty Dan and Pinhead Larry though
Great ideas PieGuy! My idea howewer.. which may be way to dark.. Is a TV movie called Battle For Bikini Bottom. The plot for this is that Plankton starts a literal war in the town. He finally shuts The Krusty Krab down, but he doesn't stop there. He then plans to become a sort of president of the ocean cities for say.. Then together with his new followers he starts a revolution and begins to start a conquest over the ocean. Spongebob then starts a rebellion and try's to stop Plankton and his army. But I still have too come up with more ideas for it.
I've always wanted to make a SpongeBob TV movie based on A Christmas Carol. I mean think about it, the casting would be perfect; you could have Mr. Krabs as Scrooge, SpongeBob as Bob Cratchit, the list goes on! I know the whole Christmas Carol thing has already been done to death, but I think it could work
That “Everyone is Cops” idea... they actually did that, oddly enough, in a video game! A very underrated one, at that, although the cops story wasn’t a main focus. In “Lights, Camera, Pants!”, there is a scene that you can play with either SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, or Plankton where they got jobs as cops and are pursuing, again oddly enough, Mermaidman and Barnacleboy for a crime they didn’t really commit. Each of the characters has their own semi-unique dialogue for the scene and Patrick’s, in my opinion, is the funniest dialogue choice.
I actually hate Atlantis Squarepantis more than Truth or Square. I dunno, I think it's because of the songs. Music is subjective, and the songs in Atlantis Squarepantis were so awful, that it actually makes me hate the episode more. Truth or Square may have been as low budget as Napoleon Dynamite (maybe even lower which is sad since Napoleon Dynamite was awesome), but... hey at least the most of the music was semi-pleasant. And there were a few good jokes in it too.
***** I wasn't convinced that the commercials were true for a nanosecond. In it's 6th season when the show originally was supposed to go on for 3, most people should know that nothing mentioned in the advertising would ever happen. The worst thing I can say about Truth or Square was that it was over-hyped, but that doesn't make me hate it any more.
Aaran Haughton god the people talk so negative about spongebob these days. if someone has the right to talk negative thats me...the german voice actor for squidward died 2 weeks ago
***** Dude, this comment was originally about 2 episodes, not all of the post movie episodes, so what are you talking about? If you're a troll, you suck at it. Not all post movie spongebob episodes suck after all. Look at Krabs a la Mode (Season 5), Hello Bikini Bottom (Season 8), and The Abrasive Side (Season 7). There's good Spongebob, and there's bad Spongebob. This crap about Pre/Post movie Spongebob needs to die.
I hate Truth or Square more because of the lies. I thought for once they were going to add some real changes to the plot. And that's more insulting to me than music numbers.
I think SpongeBob Vs The Big One had a subplot. SpongeBob Patrick and Squidward learning under the surf master was the main plot while in the subplot Sandy and Mr Krabs were stranded alone.
Maybe for the big idea, you can have Dennis (the assassin, not the background character) seek vengeance against Spongebob and Patrick, having a mercenary-like army, and demanding to have SB and Patrick. The running gag can be SB and Patrick's stupidity (and by stupidity, I mean before the SpongeBob Squarepants Movie) ruining Dennis's plans. Eventually, the mercenary army can desert Dennis due to resources running low and Dennis can be arrested by Bikini Bottom Authorities. Any ways on how this can be improved?
The having Dennis build an army would imply a big action scene, which would already be covered by the big war. Now, I am not opposed to two big fight scenes, but I also have over 50 hours put into just one Ratchet and Clank game, and I've played the whole series. I'm not a good judge of a normal persons action tolerance, and I'm sure some people wouldn't like two big fights. I could see it as a joke, though. The movie starts with Dennis stomping a picture of SB and Patrick, showing his plan and his army. Fast forward to the patty war, and Dennis' army appears, takes one look at the carnage and runs for it while Dennis yells at them. He charges in alone, catches a patty to the face and gets knocked out. After the battle, they find him and call the police. What do you think?
Oh, ever consider Nick should do another TV crossover? Like, maybe Spongebob with an older Nicktoon? Maybe Avatar? That may sound crazy, but I feel like it could work if the main joke is perhaps spoofing how serious Avatar is by mixing in the comical light-heartedness of Spongebob. I dunno, may be stretching it though. Whatchya think Pieguy?
One idea that I had, more to elaborate on the road trip one is mr krabs and plankton trying to become friends or, if friend or foe isn't cannon with it, have them wonder why they stopped being friends and make up. I'd just like to see a heartwarming scene between them and I think it could work if done right.
One way the movie sequel could start might be with Spongebob doing things in his management of the KK2 that deviate from Krabs' typical cheapskate business tactics. Krabs starts to micromanage Spongebob, who initially complies until his friends convince him to stick with his way of doing things to prove himself to Krabs. On the other side of things, it's actually becoming apparent to Krabs that Spongebob is actually starting to do a better job than he usually does, and he's actually starting to worry that he's losing his touch as a businessman, or even fearing that Spongebob might lose respect for him if it becomes apparent how much better the Krusty Krab 2 is doing. The main conflict could spawn from the fact that both sides just want to be able to prove themselves to the other, but are unable to openly admit it.
Thus is really cool how PIEGUY is constantly replying to all these comments. Something you don't really see that often... Also, UBER excited for the new season 6 overview. I'm ready... I'm ready...
But they did give us Sand Castles in the Sand! Doesn't excuse any of the other terrible crap, but I just want to give credit where it is due. (But if this season doesn't get a Scumbob rating, I will be SHOCKED. :P )
My idea: Spongebob, Patrick , mr krabs, sandy, and squidward all get a letter from a mysterious person. They get captured and thrown in the plane from the great patty caper. They get deserted and start turning on each other. They have to work together to get out. Meanwhile, Plankton uses this this to try and destroy them and get the formula. But the people who will save them are the secondary characters. "We can't have a show without them"! ( inside joke). They save them and Plankton loses.... Or so they think . Plankton blasts the island and it becomes a two- parter. So you have to wait. Trollish ending for the win!
How about we combine the job idea with the road trip idea. After SpongeBob gets the gang stranded in the city, they all take on various jobs hoping to pitch in and raise money for transport home, and you can give each character a subplot at their new job. Maybe SpongeBob and Patrick work together for a bit, only to end up distracting each other. Maybe Mr. Krabs takes a job at a bank, and hilarity ensues.
The Great Krusty War could end with a shout out to Help Wanted, Spongebob walks in to start his job once more as a fry cook, announcing "Ready to come aboard,Captain!!!" and is about to take a step forward when he stops and looks down at the loose nail from all those years ago and says "Not this time..." steps over it and with a confident look on his face he trips on his feet and ricochets like a square pinball. Mr.Krabs looks down at his watch knowing its going to take a while before Spongebob stops bouncing and walks into his office while Squidward like always gives zero fucks and pulls out a magazine he stored away in the cash register starts looking thorough it...cut to outside the Krusty Krab where we still hear Spongebob's grunts...end of movie.
My idea: "SpongeBob's Frenemies" Plot: SpongeBob wants to have fun with his friends, but they find him getting annoying (sounds similar to the first half of "WhoBob WhatPants" but trust me it's different). SpongeBob then loses hope in if his friends are really friends, but the final thing is when Patrick says, "Don't you have a job to flip patties or a manager spot to run at a second version of your favorite restaurant. I mean, not everyone wants to hear, 'Bahahahaha!' all day." SpongeBob remembers that he's now the manager of The Krusty Krab 2 and says, "YOU'RE RIGHT! OH, I CAN'T BE LA- wait, are you trying to get me out of your face?" Patrick responds, "Maybe," and calls war on SpongeBob. The group divides. Patrick has Mr. Krabs, Squidward, Mrs. Puff, and Plankton and SpongeBob has Sandy, Karen, Larry, and Gary. It goes to first, a few characters quit, making it down to Patrick, Mr. Krabs, and Squidward vs. SpongeBob, Sandy, and Karen. Plankton thinks this is finally his chance to get the formula after quitting Patrick's side. SpongeBob then realizes that he doesn't have to constantly be playing with his friends to be friends. Plankton gets the formula, but Mr. Krabs steps on him. SpongeBob just thinks he wants it because he has barely any money. He gives Plankton the manager position, and everything at the end of your idea is the exact same. The end!
Mermaidman has a new voice actor now, apparently. He's the same guy that voiced him in the Battle For Bikini Bottom videogame. I really hope to God that he at least sounds old enough now to be doing that voice.
My idea: Spongebob, Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, and Squidward all get a letter from a mysterious person. They get captured and thrown in the plane from the great patty caper. They get deserted and start turning on each other. They have to work together to get out though. Meanwhile, b-plot, Plankton uses this to try and destroy them and get the formula. The people who will save them are the secondary characters. They say" We can't have a show without them"! ( inside joke). They save them and Plankton loses... Or so they think.! Plankton blasts them and it becomes a two parter. So you have to wait. Trollish ending for the win!
Hey pieguy i just had a tv movie idea its called the return of Dennis now i know that dennis is dead but what if he survived that hit that came to him so here's my idea Main plot:The tv movie starts out with the same introduction but with a little epicness so it will start out with spongebob and patrick playing with bubbles for a few seconds until they see a body coming down the water and it landed on Spongebob roof so spongebob and patrick go check it out so when they reached the roof they found out that the body is indeed dennis so they started to freak out a little bit but that's when they realized hes not dead hes just been knocked out cold so they send him to the chum bucket so when dennis wakes up he finds out that hes in glass container he started punching the glass trying to get out but that's when he see spongebob and patrick so he gets angry and finally breaks out the glass but its a replica of the two so plankton comes around and tells dennis that he wants to try something else so dennis and plankton teams up to steal the formula, destroy spongebob and patrick, take over bikni bottom and forcing mr krabs to close down the krusty krab and leave bikini bottom forever mr krabs was sad so he left bikini bottom but spongebob and patrick decides to do make a rebellion And turn againest plankton and dennis so they have a big fight between The whole rebellion vs dennis and plankton unfortunately dennis and plankton wiped out everyone except for spongebob and patrick so something flew into spongebob's face it was the paper from the second movie so spongebob used it to stop plankton and dennis from becoming overlords so Plankton and dennis's powers are gone so Spongebob used the paper to banished dennis by putting him in rock bottom for all eternity plus Plankton gave up he gave back the formula to spongebob and he told mr krabs to come back and reopen the krusty krab and everyone was happy including spongebob and patrick themselfs thus ending the tv movie. so piegjyrulez did you like this idea i hope because this is what i would do if i would make a tv movie
The third SpongeBob movie is coming very soon! You need to review when it comes out! AND I perfect plot for a FOURTH movie. These strange creatures come to Bikini Bottom, and complain about how random, and insane it is. They would also point out how ignorant SpongeBob can be, and won’t leave him alone until he realizes it. They would even try to kill SpongeBob thinking that that it would make their problems go away. While SpongeBob’s friends (including Plankton and Gary) off to protect him.
Here is a TV movie by me. The plot: their is a story about mr krabs past and how he opened the krustykrab Characters: Mr krabs, pearl, mr krabs wife, the old owner of the krustykrab, squidward, baby spongebob, and sponge bobs parents.
what if plankton had accidentally switched lives with Spongebob, Squidward, Patrick, the mermaid... or Neptune (who has legs in the alternate universe so he would be "literally" naked but not showing his junk for some reason (like a cover))? or Pearl (would that be awkward for him?)?
Also a request. Can you and Mysterious Mr. Enter do a debate on the Spongebob episode "Rule of Dumb." ? You think its a Scumbob episode and he thinks its an Admirable Animation.
Why not use the opportunity to make fun of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel by having the new Mermaid Man "Darker and grittier" and causes a lot of destruction without a 2nd thought and everyone hates the new mermaid man for that?
Honestly I wasn't crazy about your big movie idea. I feel like that defeats the resolution of the first one if Mr. Krabs still doesn't trust them, and even the plot seemed to be an extension of Neptune's Spatula. However I like the idea of different characters joining different sides and I LOVE your idea for the ending. It was actually teased at the end of the first movie that Spongebob was going to say "I don't really want to be the manager after all!" but of course didn't. But that is completely believable.
Would be cool if they do an episode just after the "Patty War" about Plankton realising he doesn't actually wanted to be an evil guy and such.... But just needed some people to care about him! So he became a nice guy (with a big ego anyway, just he's not evil anymore) until his ego and his old "evilness" against Krbas makes him goes to the point he manages to be fired of Krusty Krab 2 and... Well became a bad guy again!
I asked myself a similar question once: "Could I write an OldBob ClassicPants episode?" (Someone on fanfiction.net wrote a really good one about SpongeBob and Squidward getting locked in the Krusty Krab bathroom. It's better than it sounds!) I don't know if I could do it, but one thing I'd love to try is to make the episode twice: once to make it good (pre-movie-esque) and then change it to "make" it bad (post-movie-esque). My idea is that the Krusty Krab gets a breakfast menu (I'd try not to have it be like a reversal of Graveyard Shift or something). And I have nothing else in mind because I have a million other things I want to write first. The road trip sounds great, but I don't know if this show is ready for its first bit of continuity. But I would love to see Mrs. Puff make her peace with SpongeBob, and maybe stop going to jail :D The MM and BB idea might be a bit too late, Pieguy :( The police idea sounds the most awesome, though. You could have tons of Police Academy references (or not). But only as an average episode, I think, not a TV movie (the other two ideas could be TV movies, though). My one problem with the sequel to the movie is that the plot doesn't seem as high-stakes as the first movie (just two businesses competing), and the ending, while very original and interesting, would again involve continuity for the rest of the series. I feel like it would make the first movie's ending pointless by undoing it. The ideas, quite frankly, are almost TOO GOOD for SpongeBob, since it doesn't have much continuity (like if you had him get his license you couldn't do a Mrs. Puff plot again, and if you had Plankton run a rival Krusty Krab then you'd have to change his character). I like the changes, and they'd be great in developing the show and drawing old fans back, but I don't know if the status quo can really be defied in this manner. What I mean is, if these episodes were made and your ideas implemented (and done well, of course), would SpongeBob still be the same show we remembered it to be if some things were permanently changed? The change would be welcome, certainly, but is it the right sort of change to make? Would it still be SpongeBob or practically a new show entirely? A continuation, a spiritual successor, or something completely new?
I feel like his idea for the sequel would be best at the very end of the show. Like a series finale. It's gotta happen eventually, and it better be good! People like me who grew up with it will probably return to the show for the finale. Based on the way it has been the past few years, though, I have a bad feeling it'll be terrible unless Steven Hillenburg does truly decide to return
Yeah, a series finale would work to sort of show SpongeBob finally becoming an adult that's running a successful business (and maybe has his license, too), and Plankton could make peace with Mr. Krabs at last, which would be great to bring a satisfying end to a lighthearted show. Maybe Squidward could learn to appreciate SpongeBob, too.
omg they need to do the cop thing with plankton as a cop too, i just thought of a scene plankton is writing a guy a ticket for parking in a handicapped spot, then guy comes out and starts arguing with plankton. the guy says something mean to plankton, so then plankton gets out a club and starts beating him up
This gave me an idea, Mr Krabs could retire. Giving the Krusty Krab to Squidward and obviously the KK2 to Spongebob and also I need to see Mystery again
I'd go with that last plot but in my version it ends with a twist. Since Plankton takes over the Krusty Krab 2, I'd have it so he actually does know the formla but forgives Krabs, and so is just happy to be manager. He divorces Karen, figuring he doesn't need her anymore, and he gives her the chumbucket, just kinda passing it off as no big deal because the resturaunt sucks. Only, she actually makes it into a super successful resturaunt without Plankton messing with everything in his pursuit of the formula. She creates her own secret formula and it goes full circle as now Plankton wants to steal the formula from his ex-wife due to his bruised ego. Sort of a perfect bittersweet ending where Plankton gets what he's wanted for the whole series, but doesn't get off scot free for all the garbage he's pulled in attempting to get there, and Karen gets some justice for how badly he treated her throughout the show. It'd also highlight the most absurd thing about Plankton's character, in that if he focused his resources on actually making quality food, or hiring someone else who can instead of convoluted revenge plans and robots, he'd have outpaced Krabs years ago, cuz Krabs has pretty shitty business practices.
I love you ideas! BTW what about SpongeBob does a crossover TV movie with a show like TUFF Puppy, or one based off of that online game "Invasion of the Lava King"?
Well if we're talking about things the Spongebob writers would probably never do, in your idea for a sequel to the first Spongebob movies maybe at the end of the war the writers will finally reveal the Krabby Patty secret formula, though I'm pretty sure if something like that would ever happen it'll probably be in a theatrical film rather than a TV movie.
Your idea for the 2nd movie was interesting. I would like to see plankton get the formula. And Sponge Bob getting is licenses it would be good to see his reaction.
I would love to see a Krabs vs Spongebob episode. The amount of story in golden. Also if its okay, I would like to say an idea. Have an episode focus on Patrick and Spongebob's friendship. Have Patrick go too far and hurt Spongebob and they start to question their friendship. The episode focus on the others trying to reconnect them together. And they have a final confrontation. It's pretty much an apology letter to all the Patricks a Prick episodes. I know it's a ripoff, but I feel this episode can really push Spongebob and Patrick's friendship and show that despite their flaws, the two really care about each other.
My 2 Ideas For A Double Length : 1. Spongebob's Road To Shell Town! The Story : Spongebob And His Pals Travel To Shell Town. And 2. Spongebob's Krusty Festival The Story: The Krusty Crew And Patrick Gets Stuck In The Kelp Forest .
Another thing that should be present in a good Spongebob TV movie is expanding everyone's characterization just a little bit. Not to the point where the characters are unrecognizable, just enough to allow for a plot more involved than "Mr. Krabs is being greedy again!" or "Spongebob and Patrick are annoying Squidward again!". Looking at the past two TV movies, they featured some of the most flanderized versions of the cast in the entire series. Especially Atlantis Squarepantis, where more than half of the special was "Focus on only one personality trait and sing about it!"
How about a special where SpongeBob gets tired of being a fry cook and decides to retire? In the episode, they should have SpongeBob trying out new jobs, and him liking none of them, which starts to make him think twice. Meanwhile, Mr. Krabs hires a new employee who is terrible at making food and less people start going to the krusty krab. They should have characters like Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs trying to convince him to go back to his old job. In the end, SpongeBob decides to return to his old job and Mr. Krabs fires the other employee. This will be a plot twist however, where the employee ends up being Plankton in a costume who purposely made terrible krabby patties so that way the krusty krabs ratings would go down. He then reveals that he worked there so he can get the krabby patty formula, but ends up not getting it, making him angry. He then tries to destroy SpongeBob and the gang with a tank, but fails. Once Plankton is beat, he then runs back to the Chum Bucket. SpongeBob takes his old job back and everybody is happy.
What's funny about your road trip idea is that the spongebob pilot was originally going to have spongebob and squidward going on a road trip, but it was scrapped and re-tooled into the Krusty Krab pizza episode.
Welp you lose some to win some
And then they made it! Ladies and Gentlemen... and other genders, Pineapple RV!
Without that, my favorite episode in my favorite show would never exist!
MechaDan I like it!
+PIEGUYRULZ if adventure time had a movie in theaters would you see it
Or...maybe mr.
***** I know id love to see that!
A SpongeBob road trip TV movie could be a lot of fun. The stakes don't even have to be as epic as trying to get King Neptune's crown like in the first movie, but you could still have a bunch of hilarious mishaps happen with the characters.
They unfortunately squandered that in Sponge On The Run, the 3rd SpongeBob cinematic movie
from 11:00 onwards.......................THIS could have easily been the theatrical sequel to the spongebob movie right there
even with the twist ending!
So apparently there's an episode rumored for season 11 called Doodle Dimension, do this might actually be happening. (Or something similar to it)
@@natelikesfun Nahh, Doodle Dimension wasn't as good as these ideas
This sounds awesome!
The plot sounds really great!
Here are a few other suggestions I have:
I would pay SEEEERIOUS cash to see The Great Krusty War as an actual movie, whether it be TV or a full movie like The SpongeBob Movie.
Someone animate it!!
Me too!
Agreed, that's all I really have to say, "Agreed"
If only Nick saw this and took up your ideas, to make Spongebob great again before retiring the show.
#MakeSpongeBobGreatAgain xD
As with all Square Theory episodes, we get a tiny sneak peek at future seasonal reviews. That's a bonus to what we get on the surface here.
Vali Jamal So we basically get to see what Squid was up to in "Can You Spare A Dime?" mixed with a non lame version of WhoBob WhatPants? I like it!
Thanks
Tiger shark? Why not a Sea Bear!? That's perfect fanservice (great idea, btw)! :D
Maybe I don't know.
It'd be better with a sea bear
Third idea: Now this plot point of all of the characters having to take on a new job--or even just SpongeBob and Patrick taking on a new job, since new Nickelodeon insists on focusing on their dynamic for some reason--is something that we should see in more episodes, period.
I really enjoy the one you went with. With movie-style animation and good jokes, it would be quite good.
I had an idea where Squidward runs for mayor of Bikini Bottom.
He could do it to one up Squilliam.
That is so cute! I really would hope for this to be a theatrical spongebob movie.
That'd be a spectacular finale
my favorite is the road trip idea. i love the idea of the characters having to deal with each other and also it just sounded funny
The Great Krusty War
Synopsis:Mr.Krabs bet SpongeBob that he can't get 200 customers into the Krusty Krab 2 in two days. If SpongeBob wins, Mr.Krabs has to give Krabby Patties for free.If Mr.Krabs wins, SpongeBob loses his job as manager.SpongeBob finds out that Mr.Krabs is cheating by telling people not to go to the Krusty Krab 2.
This gets Mr.Krabs mad because if he tells people not to go to the Krusty Krab 2 then he'll lose money but if he lets them go to the Krusty Krab 2 then he'll have to give away patties for free.SpongeBob gets help from
Patrick as a fry cook and Sandy as cashier.Mr.Krabs sees this and gets help from Plankton as a cashier and Pearl as a fry cook.It gets out of hand and turns into war then Sandy has an idea to turn the Krusty Krab 2 into a robot and Plankton steals the idea by turning the original Krusty Krab into a robot as well.Meanwhile, Plankton attempts to steal the formula while SpongeBob and Mr.Krabs try to sabotage each other. In the end, they both end up losing and SpongeBob remains manager of Krusty Krab but instead of keeping the Krusty Krab 2,
Mr.Krabs gives it to Plankton and they become friends.
June 6, 2018, 10:59pm
one episode idea I have is Jim's return
Imagine if Spongebob did their version of A Christmas Carol with Mr. Krabs playing the role of Ebenezer Scrooge and Spongebob playing the role of Bob Cratchit?
And Patrick, Squidward and possibly Sandy (or Plankton) be the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future
@@ItzViolet-yt Well Sandy would play Cratchit's wife. I think The Flying Dutchman would be perfect for the Ghost of Christmas Future
@@iansweeney9953 or Plankton or Karen 😝
That is a great idea!
in regards to #1....how would they all fit in the car
That could be part of the comedy
(Spongebob's Crazy Road Trip) I'd watch that.
(MM and BB TV Movie) That too.
(Spongebob's Wacky New Job) That name is epic. I'd watch that.
Continued:
...by making their own restaurant.
I actually really want to watch that road trip episode. Like i would pay MONEY to watch it...
Your ideas are amazing! Especially the Krusty Krab 2 and the Road Trip ideas
NICK NEEDS TO LOOK AT THIS VIDEO AND THE COMMENTS NOW.
I know the whole Christmas Carol thing has already been done to death, but I think it could work
Dang, I like all your premises so much it's hard to think of ones as good. Nice job, man.
I don't think MrDer said anything about how all the post movie episodes suck.
That sounds pretty good.
i cant wait to see the other slides and what the scumbob transition ganna look like
AWESOME IDEA! GET AN ANIMATOR TO DO A FAN-ANIMATION
15:01 like the Coca-Cola secret recipe, where the syrup is made in a single factory and is then shipped out to the bottling plants.
One idea that I had, more to elaborate on the road trip one is mr krabs and plankton trying to become friends or, if friend or foe isn't cannon with it, have them wonder why they stopped being friends and make up. I'd just like to see a heartwarming scene between them and I think it could work if done right.
"Blacken Sponge" has greater stories than "Truth or Square" in Season 6.
Would "Have You Seen This Snail?" be considered to have a subplot? Is SpongeBob or Gary's story the main plot; or are they both just the main plot?
Thus is really cool how PIEGUY is constantly replying to all these comments. Something you don't really see that often...
Also, UBER excited for the new season 6 overview. I'm ready... I'm ready...
I'm ready, I'm ready, The Splinter, Penny Foolish :P
Lets not forget about the toenail scene
But they did give us Sand Castles in the Sand! Doesn't excuse any of the other terrible crap, but I just want to give credit where it is due.
(But if this season doesn't get a Scumbob rating, I will be SHOCKED. :P )
+Noah Terrell Ta ta! Scumbob rating!
I thought that he was gonna say rectangle because sqaure is the shape of evil
Your ideas are fantastic, NICKELODEON TAKE NOTES. My ideas though would really suck.
That twist ending of your crusty war idea sounds like a series finale ending to me
How about we combine the job idea with the road trip idea.
My idea: "SpongeBob's Frenemies"
Plot: SpongeBob wants to have fun with his friends, but they find him getting annoying (sounds similar to the first half of "WhoBob WhatPants" but trust me it's different).
I do like that last idea, I think that would be pretty satisfying.
It seems like an idea that I may have gone with if I made a TV movie for Spongebob would be one where Mrs Puffs past would have been revealed.
The idea of sandy and Patrick having to work at the krusty Krab together sounds amazing
Your idea is amazing. You really should write for a cartoon one day.
PieGuyRulez should write for TheMysteriousMrEnter's Growing Around cartoon
wariolandgoldpiramid Oh my god yes!
And your ending to The Great Krusty War seems like the (almost) ending to the Gravity Falls episode, Boss Mable.
Pie guy that was a rectangle you made. This video is now invalid.
Also, Pieguy, if they made a Mermaid and Barnacle Boy TV show, who would you want the villain of the first episode to be?
The Slain Oracle Man Ray!
A rectangle is a square.
No one seems to get that this is a joke related to the fact that SpongeBob SQUAREpants is a rectangle XD
***** I was about to point that out...
The perfect example of a TV movie with subplots is Attack Of The Twonkies.
While SpongeBob’s friends (including Plankton and Gary) off to protect him.
ow his movie idea was really good! SOMEONE TURN IT INTO FANFIC!
Spongebob's Crazy Road Trip Sounds Like A Good Series Finale. Pieguy Should Pitch That Idea To Nickelodeon And See What Happens
Here is a TV movie by me.
The plot: their is a story about mr krabs past and how he opened the krustykrab
Characters: Mr krabs, pearl, mr krabs wife, the old owner of the krustykrab, squidward, baby spongebob, and sponge bobs parents.
13:01 well there is the algae's always greener.
what if plankton had accidentally switched lives with Spongebob, Squidward, Patrick, the mermaid... or Neptune (who has legs in the alternate universe so he would be "literally" naked but not showing his junk for some reason (like a cover))? or Pearl (would that be awkward for him?)?
I think I like the road trip idea the best. Though I do like the idea of Plankton getting the Krusty Krab 2 at the chronological end of the series.
Also a request.
Can you and Mysterious Mr. Enter do a debate on the Spongebob episode "Rule of Dumb." ?
You think its a Scumbob episode and he thinks its an Admirable Animation.
Mine is called the new MERMAID MAN after hearing that mermaid man has moved on barnacle boy tries to find a replacement
A subplot with all the mermaid man villians including plankton roam and attack bikinni bottom
It's better than it sounds!)
I don't know if I could do it, but one thing I'd love to try is to make the episode twice: once to make it good (pre-movie-esque) and then change it to "make" it bad (post-movie-esque).
Puff make her peace with SpongeBob, and maybe stop going to jail :D
The MM and BB idea might be a bit too late, Pieguy :(
The police idea sounds the most awesome, though.
Huh, yeah, that is like the Chowder finale.
but Road Trip wouldn't have continuity
omg they need to do the cop thing with plankton as a cop too, i just thought of a scene
plankton is writing a guy a ticket for parking in a handicapped spot, then guy comes out and starts arguing with plankton. the guy says something mean to plankton, so then plankton gets out a club and starts beating him up
Btw, I recommend doing a Square Theory on Squidward Torture episodes and when they are done right or wrong.
This gave me an idea, Mr Krabs could retire. Giving the Krusty Krab to Squidward and obviously the KK2 to Spongebob and also I need to see Mystery again
I really love your ideas, especially the twist ending with Plankton.
10:01 no the chum bucket. Every police gets food poisoning of plankton chum and then every protagonist becomes police
I fancy all of your ideas except, I don't think the "Spongebob's Wacky New Job" episode would have enough content to be a T.V movie or a special.
I think it could work as a 22 minute episode
Since it's the end of the timeline, that Great Krabby War twist sounds AMAZING!
The First Speical Is 32 Minutes And The Second One Is 13 Minture
Another thing that should be present in a good Spongebob TV movie is expanding everyone's characterization just a little bit. Not to the point where the characters are unrecognizable, just enough to allow for a plot more involved than "Mr. Krabs is being greedy again!" or "Spongebob and Patrick are annoying Squidward again!". Looking at the past two TV movies, they featured some of the most flanderized versions of the cast in the entire series. Especially Atlantis Squarepantis, where more than half of the special was "Focus on only one personality trait and sing about it!"
I like the quote you chose for Truth or Square. Very clever.
I actually really liked the Patchy segments from "UGH."
Nice video A.J.! And by the way, nice Adventure Time shirt.
4:44 a preview for spongebob vs. the big one
I like the road trip idea and the Krabby War idea
