Ben shouldn’t have been killed off to begin with, so yes. Reuniting him and Rey would correct the worst mistake in all of SW history. (And yes, I’m counting the Holiday Special and all the old EU.)
Rey is so powerful because she’s not confined by the Jedi council. Rey draws on both her light and dark emotions and they make her stronger. Together as a dyad, Ben Solo and Rey did finish what his grandfather started. Ben saved who he loved, something Anakin gave up everything trying to do. And Rey killed Sidious, something Anakin died trying to do. They reestablished the rule of two and fulfilled a Sith Dyad prophecy on the opposing side of the force. The sequels were rough, don’t get me wrong, but the Rey/Ben book scenes hit different.
This ending always makes me cry. I'll never forgive Kathleen Kennedy for it. And I debate with friends who argue, from a Judeo-Christian point of view, that Ben had to die to atone for his sins. Well why not let him live and spend the rest of his life at Rey's side building up the Jedi and restoring the Republic!?!?! I want a do-over. This is excellent work, by the way. I love your videos.
Same here. Also that supposedly "Christian" view your friends are touting is ridiculous. Hit them with Ezekiel 18:23 "Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?" According to Christianity, Jesus died for our sins so we wouldn't have to. Claiming that the only way people can be redeemed from past sins is by dying is about as un-Christian as you can get.

This scene had me crying. Ben Solo truly loved Rey that he would sacrifice himself for her. Their connection will never be broken. I wish more than anything they can find a way to bring them back together. They FINALLY found each other only for a brief moment. Ben will always be with Rey. I wish they can get that chance again.❤️😢😥🥺
I realize I am a little late with all this, but I am discovering "The rise of Skywalker" just now, and I simply cannot get over Ben Solo dying. This is probably fuelled by my own real-life losses, but no matter how well I know these are fictional characters, it breaks my heart to see him making his sacrifice, sharing a single kiss and smile with her, and then drop dead the next second. I mean: we are sometimes so deprived of time and of opportunity that one would think it's a divine joke of bad taste. Happens in real life just as it does in fiction, and neither is less painful than the other, honestly.

I just binged all 21 of these videos you made, and I have no regrets. I only wish I had found them sooner! I'm currently sick and was looking for something to watch when I stumbled upon your channel. Best. Use. Of. Time. Ever! I was always so unsatisfied with how Ben and Rey's story was portrayed in the movies, and while I've contemplated reading the books, I never actually committed to doing so. This collection of videos has given me a sense of closure and peace about these two that I've been missing since walking out of the theater after watching 'The Rise of Skywalker'. I'm still perturbed that Ben died. It's simply not fair that they finally found each other, just to be ripped apart again. I only hope that they will be able to find a way to be together eventually. Thank you @LouellaWilla for making this wonderful video series, and for properly telling Rey and Ben's love story. 'Cause let's face it; that really is their story. A forbidden love that formed against all odds. Transcending time, space, and a war between the good and evil all around and within them. Trying to make it a "kiss of gratitude" because of the snowflakes complaining that their relationship was toxic and abusive was so unbelievably stupid and made no sense. Name ONE time any EVER kissed someone (especially like THAT) out of "gratitude". They even tried to elude to it in the book by having the sand snake Rey healed earlier give her a lick/kiss in gratitude.
