I still prefer the option to remove Sim Card and change phones on a whim or when needed immediately. So no E-Sim for me.

      Yup me too
Esim is fine for your second number so in case you lose a sim or something you still have something in it.

iPhones 14 series in the middle East still rock a physical sim.

As mentioned in the video, this is a nightmare for people who travel abroad a lot; as there are a lot of countries where you can't get an eSim on prepaid plans.
I've moved my whole family to Pixel phones (except my granny - older people are a little thicker and need to stick to apple) and activated eSims, but simply use physical ones when abroad...but i'm not sure what I'll do if they remove the physical slot completely in the future..

Great video! I have a question. I have an iPhone 12 Pro with option of esim and physical. If I convert it to Esim do i have to take out the physical? Would it be ok to snd throw it away?

You can take it out or throw it away. I kept mine because I wanted to switch back to physical sim and all I had to do was give them the sim iccid and it was easy

Not for me honestly it’s fine I prefer esim I hate removing SIM cards … when I got my new iPhone I was easily able to transfer my esim over by just setting my iPhone next to my new iPhone

Esim sucks, to start you need internat connection in order to set up your account and start having service 🤷🏻‍♂️ with a SIM card you insert it and voila

Im not sure if this is what you mean and could be misunderstanding but you are able to have a SIM card on one provider and a eSIM on another to have 2 services to switch between at the same time

Personally, I think phones that has physical sim and esims are the best. I use a physical sim for my cell provider and esim for my travel data needs. I have a couple of data only esims installed on my phone for travel and my cell provider physical sim that stays in my phone all the time. If anyone is interested in trying an esim, I have an Airalo esim discount code. GREG7928
