I’ve switched over to eSIM when I got the 14PM. It was definitely a smooth transition for me. I’m from uk and the qr codes are free from the carrier and activation was almost instant. But I got it for the security of not having my sim taken out if my phone got stolen.
Don't know what is going to happen when the e-sim becomes the standard and what the influence on the carriers. I am using the same Physical SIM for 14 years and is passed through 2 dumb and 5 smart devices. It had seen Windows Phone, Symbian, some proprietary Motorola OS and many Android versions. It was cut from mini to micro to nano and somehow still works.
Idk about all of you but my carrier is W. eSim and physical sims are the same here, from coverage (available in every country) to prices. Exactly the same.
lmao are you dumb? it's not about plan or coverage, it's about transfering that eSIM to another for example. in my country you can transfer eSIM only with one of three carriers.
That’s the ONLY reason I didn’t trade in my iPhone 13 Pro bcuz the 14’s are e sim(in the U.S.) and I don’t always use an iPhone, I have a pixel 7 and 7 pro and think it would be a hassle to keep transferring the number
I’ve activated every single one of my new iPhones are the same since I could and have had no problems they transfer from iPhone to iPhone even iPad to iPad
Thanks for explaining & sharing😊 eSIM may sound good but I still think eSIM still aren’t ready yet😅 probably still needs time be better. I still ❤ physical SIM and would be great if iPhone have 2 SIMs slot rather than only HK and China have it😂

my phone has physical sim and esim. I just transferred my carrier physical sim to my new phone and download data only esim for travel. Best of both world.
Switched to an iPhone with an esim. Device ended up being defective. Wasn't allowed to switch back to my old sim. Had to wait 3 days for a new sim to come in so I could switch back to my old device. Was a very frustrating process.
I just found out my s22 ultra is compatible. It would be a shame if they didn't include it with the S23, if I wanted to upgrade one day. Go into settings>connections, then look in sim manager, it sill show you.
I have a physical sim from a carrier called bsnl in india who doesn’t have the technology for e sim I am using iphone 15 plus bought from the USA where there are no physical sims slots. So i had to use a cheap android phone for this purpose. Can i use a physical sim to an e sim ( convert)?
hi there. one question. if i activate my esim to 15pro (xr to 15pro) can i re-activate my physical sim, wanna be able to use again somehow? thanks in advance. cheers
I’m still confused if it’s a esim phone can we install a new sim from an old phone any carrier ? I have iPhone 12 SIM card and iPhone 13 X with SIM card how can I know if they are esim
What about the battery usage but 1 physical sim and 1 esim but physical sim is inactive just stays inside of my phone. So I use only eSim Does affect battery ?
I will buy new phone number since I switched the country. And I live here anymore. So do you think should I wait for physical simcard or eSim should I use ?
Well, isn't it typical of Apple to introduce another phone with eSIM technology? Whether we like it or not, it's like they're on a mission to push us into the future. Who cares if the rest of the world needs to be fully prepared for this technological marvel? Apple knows best, right? Even more amusing is that while they claim eSIMs are the future, they conveniently keep selling iPhone 15 Plus and Pro models with suitable old-fashioned SIM card trays in select countries. It's almost as if they're hedging their bets or maximizing profits. Yet there are at least 14 counties where you can purchase your iPhone 14 or 15 with a sim card tray. Hmm, how ironic. Could Apple's cozy relationship with the big three U.S. carriers - AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon - have something to do with this decision? After all, why cut off the revenue stream from those sweet, lucrative carrier partnerships when you can have your eSIM and your traditional SIM, too? It's all about the bottom line, folks. Welcome to the Apple reality distortion field, where innovation and profit margins go hand in hand
What the hell did you just say... We're watching what?!?! Bro... slow down and speak clearly. I couldn't understand what the hell you said we are watching. 🤔🤔🤔
Yes, we have all loved physical sims for so many ears.
Bro I'm dead
How many ears👂 😂
English not Englishing
Yes very many ears
Biblically accurate SIM should have many ears 👂👂👂
Needed to hear this because I have a physical sim and I’m not a fan of eSIM just yet for those reasons.
Some benefits of eSIM are theft prevention and water resistance.

Not to rain on your parade chief, but don't that mean they're taking it anyways?
So it's 2PM
@@CirphrankGGno because the phone will be locked , but if they put the sim in another phone they can reset passwords through text resets
@TheRampage784 hmmm, okay. Thanks for the info.
I was shocked how smooth the transition was when I got my iPhone 13. Never switched phones so easily in my life

I switched to eSIM when I got my iPhone 13. It was way smoother to switch over. My old iPhone was the SE3 with a physical SIM card
I’ve been using eSIM since 2018 on iPhone and 2017 in my Apple Watch and I’ll never go back
How?

If you get e-sim and travel to another country, do the carriers in that country have to support e-sim as well? Or can you use your phone as usual?
My service with T-Mobile has been noticeably worse since making the move to eSIM with my newest iPhone purchase.
I’ve had the opposite. Probably depends on your area
Great advice I’m with Aldi/Telstra carrier & in Australia & I can’t use a Esim so I will not B upgrading to an Esim phone soon 😎
I’ve activated every single one of my new iPhones are the same since I could and have had no problems they transfer from iPhone to iPhone even iPad to iPad
My eSIM has been more reliable than a physical sim
Me watching this on my e-sim activated phone.. 😂
Same
Same 😅
Same my esim is on my 4 week old pixel 9
I have my s22 ultra and I switched to Esim and now my phone doesnt need wifi its 5G UC all day and super fast than before with the nano sim card.
Really useful video with a clear explanation! Thank you

Had no phone service during this time. Not a fan.
Should have went to a store directly. They can give you a new sim card and activate with your existing number on the same day
This was helpful thank you
I got an esim a few weeks ago for my pixel 9 because i didn't care it only took a couple minutes anyway to use use
It’s also available on iPhone 13 not just 14
Thank you so much my guy! 🙏
Can i use esim on my samsung galaxy 23 ultra from 🇺🇸 usa?
Yes I am
I just found out my s22 ultra is compatible. It would be a shame if they didn't include it with the S23, if I wanted to upgrade one day. Go into settings>connections, then look in sim manager, it sill show you.
Thanks, Man! Great vid!
Such a great explanation
It allows the gov to clone your sim and get all your information 😮

Yes this is what I want to know aswell
e-sims ain't worth the hassle. I'm sure even if the nano sim breaks, you can get a new number and transfer your old one to it.

Ngl I got scared when I clicked the turn to esim on my sim card I tought I messed up but now I get better signal and download soo
How about the call quality on the eSim?
How is the network data speed difference between these 2?
Good question you should UA-cam that or Google it
What do yall like better
physical sim
why esim devices are expensive compare to physical sim
No. Physical sim devices are like 30% more expensive than esims
no in kuwait its opposite @@agb0r
Thanksssssss

From eSim the next generation will be noSim at all.
I think E sim is a electric sim card.
It’s embedded sim not electric sim
@@DMC377why would anybody want an embedded sim...physical for me
U can trick a thief too lol if u use esim
But it always seems like physical sim is more reliable. And I feel like eSim will slow my phone
p sim > e sim
