🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sim cards really got smaller and smaller until they disappeared
Almost like the women’s dressing
Wow, that e-sim site actually still kinda seems expensive af relative to what you'd pay in the local countries, even at the airport. Would a better option not be to have your main sim as an E-sim & then put in a physical local sim when needed?
Does someone knows what happens when changing carrier?? Because I have a carrier with an esim and I am changing to another carrier with esim also...does the new carrier has to send me a new QR code for register on my phone or it changes the carrier automatically??
I don't know what is it about people wanting to go ALL digital, ALL electric, ALL "eco friendly". I think that in reality what you are doing is giving away your right to choose, your right to have control, and I think people don't realize that. They all think that what's new is always "cool".
You can’t have it all. Convenience AND control at a mass scale is just not realistically attainable.
What ever you typed there doesn’t matter
Thank you so much!! so helpful! You saved the day!
You look like a mixture of Lionel Messi and Tom Holland
Wow. Exactly!!!🤯🤯🤯
😂 true I was tripping
I had two dual sim cards and wanted to switch them both to eSim. Now I can only enable one of the two :(
Goes against the whole point if I have one physical SIM and one eSIM
Tom holland is that you?
That’s exactly what I thought
should have gone to specsavers
Haha that like his brother or something but like American
Does it drain the battery ? Thats my experience
eSIM makes it a lot easier for carriers to track what phone you are using. With sim you can just pop it into any phone. Overall, for customers there are some pros with lifestyle upgrades and some cons. Aka. with physical sim you can more easily have multiple profiles and it's easier to switch network. But there's also the con, it's harder to switch between devices. Overall, there's definitely some improvement in convenience, but also demerits.
But most importantly, this presents huge opportunity for third parties to track you more effectively. Reducing your privacy.
But at the same time adds security. If your phone was lost or stolen then they can't remove the SIM from your phone. This gives you time to erase the device remotely.
@@portman8909 that's always the catch. The selling point is always about your "safety", but the real deal is to have you controlled.
@@portman8909 True, I personally think we should just have both. It's not like sim tray takes much space.
You're delusional if you think you aren't trackable with removable SIM cards. I'll agree switching phones is a pain with eSIM, but it has nothing to do with tracking. There are plenty of other apps/sensors to track your whereabouts, even without any data. Unless you do something and never let that phone see the internet again, it's trackable.
If I were wanting to track someone and they yanked their data connection, I'm not just going to go "welp, can't do anything now..." I'm going to track them offline, then collect all that data once it's back online. Don't care what the connection is, I'll get that data.
If you think switching carriers is stopping that in any fashion, that's hilarious.
How would anyone track you using the SIM card? That’s dumb.
Great rundown of sims, thanks.
Does anyone have experience with mobile 019 mobile in Israel ? Having trouble activating the QR code and they are not responding ?
If I have unlimited network from 3 and I buy an eSim card from Vodafone which I need when I go to Turkey, if I finish the 25GB from Vodafone, can I use data from 3 without extra cost?
One Thing missing, whether esim phones are locked or unlocked to any specific networks?
Basically the same issues when having a physical sim. If the phones runs GSM networks and you are trying to run a CDMA network on it; it obviously won’t work. Same if the phone is network restricted. Usually happens when a device is bought from a specific network like ATT. They usually have a requirement for you to use phone in network for 2years or so before you can call an request an unlock. And even then you can only run GSM networks like T-Mobile on it. Hope that helps.
Thank you!!!! Amazing information
Could you tell us what's the problem with that in India? (As you told you've traveled across Asia)
I'll be travelling to the USA, can I use my phone as a hot-spot for my partner with an esim package for airalo?
yes
Tom Holland here talking about eSims than being spiderman
I think for a short term solution its a great idea but definitely not long term. Security issues everywhere as with any personal ID token, and inevitably will get breached or compromised. The longer you have it out there in the big bad world, and sign up or authenticate with it, the more access points there are to exploit. Hell even 2FA is breachable now if you know what you are doing. Exact same reasoning why you never put an EFTPOS terminal on a Wi-Fi network
it renders imsi catchers useless.
Does esim affect 5G speed?
Will eSIM card make it easier for someone to clone your phone?
My eSIM choice is BNESIM. It's fast, easy, and affordable.
E-sim clearly gives better security. Instead of an optional separate PIN for the physical sim that most people forget to configure, you got the e-sim that shares the same mandatory screen log-in security that almost everybody uses.
Do not like the idea of not being able to change SIM cards. Way too easy for your data to be collected and tracked.
Thanks
A mixture of tom holland and messi
British Messi underated comment
As usual
Freaking helpful mate
Last summer i went to south korea and had no idea where to get a sim, i got looted real bad on airport 🤷🏻♂️, not again i think.

Who is here after iPhone 14 pro ?
Can they still hack u if u have an esim card… why did u not answer this? U do crypto vids)
Apple plans to ditch the sim tray its already happening meaning all phone companys will ditch it for esim same with the charger in the box the and going portless and ditching headphone jacks
Which is a good thing
well now it's e-sim only
Messi and Tom holland face together that’s what this guy look likes
Here in india we can’t switch e sim manually to new device only process is heading over store and switch to physical sim then switch back to e sim on new device if we delete manually its gone and long process
We can go to e sim by physical sim by IVR but cant go reverse by same IVR,service store is needed for sure
I thought it was spiderman
its a shame been waiting 8 years for three network to use esim
Nice
So u can’t buy a new used phone
Are you Tom Holland?😲
The destruction of being able to travel
Fugk apple this is going to ruin the ability to travel cause you won't be able to swap to a new sim in a new country

Spider-Man?
You didn’t give enough information.
*Laughs in CDMA*
What is eSIM going on in 2050
Please Samsung don't get inspiration from this.
eSim sounds like yet another bad idea to control how users use their phones.
Why did you stop making tech videos? What a pity
