Excellent version especially with the acoustic. Using an A chord between the G and D in the second line of the verse is a must! Love your videos!!
I'm not a beginner but find it hard to simplify tunes down so I can learn them quickly. This guys helped me out a lot. So he's now my favourite. Well done chap! You get on with it and you're easy to listen to. tip top

I have always loved this song but I get fussy about changing the tuning to learn ONE song. I like that this can be a backyard fire pit stripped down neighbor fave without changing the tuning. Thanks Marty!

hey Marty.great lessons.I am a drummer in a rock band. now I have just found out that the guitarists have been telling lies all these years about how difficult the guitar is and that drummers just hit things. after watching your lessons I have found out how easy guitaring is. think the next thing this drummer will be hitting is the losing guitarists in my band. great stuff Marty. keep posting your lessons. remember these are easy versions I do on purpose for all skill levels to learn. Guitar can be quite a bit more intricate but also fun if you know the basics. I started out playing drums and switch to guitar 30 years ago but I still like to sit on a kit now and again. It's like riding a bike, you never forget how fun it is to play drums. it seems the strumming pattern makes this song and its done quite well here, i would consider adding an "A" between the G and D but this man does it quite well, give him that.

Dude, I'm a guitar player that's been learning bass, so i was following along, but something kept feeling wrong. I finally realized you left the damn A chord out !! It would be easy to incorporate it into this simplified acoustic-friendly version, without completely gutting the song.
I agree absolutely, I'm a guitar player too and listening to this its screaming out for the A chord. Good spot
Just a Tip for the Marty, Agreed here a sample with the A would have been nice. But Totally understand the Strip down idea. For some a A cord is a little tuff based on Finger size. But A is a pretty common cord. Still for many this is a nice verson. Just say Keff and Mick 2016 Acoustic Verson also very cool.
