Hokkaido's Hidden National Park | Northern Japan Travel Vlog Day 3: Onuma Koen

- In today's travel vlog, we explore Snowy Hokkaido in Japan, more specifically Onuma Koen near Hakodate on the southern edge of the island. Onuma Koen is a quasi national park at the bottom of Mt. Komagatake. In Summer, this beautiful lake area is dotted with tiny islands that can be accessed via a walking trail. In Winter when everything is frozen over, you can walk on the lake and even do dog sled racing!
Also, I want to say sorry for not posting anything in over a month. To be honest, when I moved away from Japan I kind of lost the motivation to post on UA-cam for a while. But I'm hoping to be back now and able to post more consistently!

Hi Everyone! First new video in over a month. I am very sorry for not uploading more frequently, after coming back to Austria I haven't really been feeling UA-cam much. But since I do still have a lot of places in Japan I want to show you and talk about, I will try to be more consistent. Thank you if you are still watching :)
Hi Adam, hope you guys are well. The views of a snow capped Mt Komagatake are quite beautiful, but I'm going to guess you might have thought once or twice about whether it was worth the hassle. 🙏
Hey George, all good on our side, summer is finally here! How are you doing? :)
Ha definitely on that day, but the sunrise the next morning was definitely worth it, looking forward to sharing that in the next video!
What can i say
...i just love snow ❄
Me too if only it wasn't so cold lol
@@AdamRifi in my homeland Poland we get very cold winters - which is hard in the countryside, especially when you need to drive haha. But there is something special being in cold nature as it makes you feel your body more & realise your limits - therefor appreciate and love it more :)
