think the biggest secret is who we associate with most of the time,..sometimes we may have to leave our old lives and friends behind to make a new life. change can be scary but change essential part of life

Babe Ruth sums it up nicely..."It's hard to beat a person who never gives up.' like how we first learned to walk.ride a bike, swim. you fall, get up try try again...if the hunger is there,we will find a way to make it happen.. as my hero Bruce Lee used to say.."be water mu friend".. adapt to all situation...:)

Definitely.....Who we associate with definitely affect our progress. I’ve spent my first 30 years in Jamaica where I maxed my potential, so I emigrated to a first world country only to max my potential at age 60. Surprisingly, I’m now moving to another first world country just to engage with new associates. I m doing a process, I’m being “water my friend”.

I'm going through this right now. All my family and friends are holding me back. Spending time with them is awful. They dont speak the same "language" I do. I'm looking for success and a better life, they are looking what channel or show to watch. I'm 26 years old, learning everyday. It's very hard to find new people I dont know where to look!

Thank you again SIFU. You are only teacher I know that puts out content and videos that provides at least one life changing breakthrough or gold nugget.
My mindset was all fucked up before listening to this. Many people (including my old self) looked at people and admired successful and rich people based on where they are now. But a select few admire the process they took to get where they are today. That's why 95% struggle to be financially free and have FU money. People want the outcome or event.
The breakthrough is this: Think process. Focus on winning processes from all over the world in different industries being used by different people. How can you take that process and use it to your advantage? Whenever you go to a seminar or networking event and meet someone highly successful, ask them this: How did you do it? What was your process? Instead of being a little fan that comes off creepy. Be a hungry student. Pride is what holds most entrepreneurs back because they are not willing to seek out help or advice. The guy in the video was drumming for 23 years and he said he sucked. You know why? He never hired an instructor. Once he did, he got life changing results in 2 years. Find a SIFU or mentor and latch onto everything that he/she does.
Dan says it best: The process makes millionaires. Events are by-products of millionaires. Making money is a process. If you skip the process, you will never experience making money or the events/experiences.

I’ve been re-watch these because how important mind set is.
One things that is clear is how important mentorship is. The example of mast chef. Making a cake. You might have the exact process but will you be success. Maybe? You might need fine tuning.
    That really opened my eyes.

In our yardwork business, we call it, "letting your hands teach you." We tell new people to just get down and make the green go away. Do whatever comes to you. Then, watch someone else. Then, try again. Then, watch another member of the crew.
Every now and then, the Field Supervisor, or Administrator, might come over and "work with" the new hire to help the process of exploration and experimentation. We understand that there is not a single right way to accomplish any task!
    Great teachings!

I have always been cautious about telling people what and how I do my work as well as how it comes out so well! This was a few years ago. But before seeing this video I had already come to a realization that the process and the tools work for me and my process in which I do the work works for me. Just because the next guy has the right tools the expensive products does not mean his results will equal mine. My years of experience and practice makes all the difference, so now I dont mind telling anyone and I dont...simply just a waste of time explaining to someone who will never do it at all.

Wealth is a process not an event. Like, Life is a journey not a destination. So thats why broke people has a mindset that it is a final event when they get money and then stop there, while wealthy people keep on growing money, compound and multiply it, event is like a day while process is like years.

I remember when you were talking about (sorry if I missquote it) "nothing is more powerful than a demonstration". I thought your card demonstration about investments was like crazy good, but this example with having a mentor who corrects you and leads you to the correct path.. Masterpiece. I can't remember if I ever see a better demonstration. Not even Tonnys, even it was awesome, it didn't hit me like a punch like your example did. Very nice!

I liked the comparison with the martial arts, changing your form and execution because of a teacher, but I picked up something else. My ahha moment was when he was told to punch not picturing the pad, but 4 inches behind the pad. So get the right coaching, and learn to see beyond the target.

aaahhh, such great insights Mr. Lok, and you have such a nice calm, concise and metaphorical way of getting your nuggets acros. Very inspirational I must write. I have a question. What you here are talking about in regards to processes and the pride's (ego's) holding us back …. is it not the exact same reasons holding people back from reaching great health - fit minds and fit bodies? Is the body and brain not the most important asset we as humans possess - as a vehicle, as and instrument with which to orchestrate hour desire for life? Yet, it is the first thing that most people seem to neglect and/or pull out of their priorities of daily life? What do you think?

Recently i have seen many of your videos and i have already had many of this thought processes of yours, but getting hate from relatives and people i know saying i should keep my head at the ground and think realistic and basic with basic goals because setting high goals with part goals to reach this is unrealistic and not a safe way to go. A basic way of thinking and living is not a way i want to live, life is to short for that. So nice to see others disagree with that line of thinking and living.
