2016 ZX10r how to install starter

This is just a short quick video to help fellow ZX10r riders remove the starter! Also I removed the whole thermostat out the same way with the starter! Hope this Helps!!

I just pulled mine out. Mine came out over the clutch cover by the frame.

Sure you know by now but that's your CCT ( cam chain tensioner).

Where did buy the starter and how much was it?

The first I bought was from Ricks which I think was like $250-3 but only lasted a year. Took the OEM starter to a guy local who does starter work and he rebuilt it!

How did you reach the thermostat bolts?

Yeah I’m having a similar problem now and I think it’s my starter too

Yea, if it makes a weird noise when you start it or turn it off, then that’s what it is

How many bolts were on the starter

2 holding the starter on and you have the ground wire/bolt in the center behind the rubber piece that you will have to take off too!
