Everyone strives to be at the top, to be the best. But what does it mean to be the best and where is that top? Is the best player the one who conquered a single title, with nobody coming even close to dethroning them, or is it a player who is so multi-faceted that they achieved prestigious victories across half a dozen totally different titles? i mean, some players are honestly just there cause of youtube and choosing a top tier. without that, they wouldnt even be close to being as good at the game as they currently are. They also have the benefit of fighting tournament level players on the regular. Since they are all friends...
I hate that argument. They're only good because they choose top tiers. No, they're only smarter. There's nothing preventing others from picking top tier characters as well.
Being the best Tekken or Street Fighter player in the world and winning every tournament means absolutely nothing because you only gain nerd respect 😂😅
What i mean is an E Sports champion will never be any type of a celebrity or gain recognition outside of nerd culture, so it’s useless.
Like Knee or Arslan walking in Hollywood will always be just nerds walking in Hollywood😅
