- Come and try 24 INSANE Street Foods in Gaziantep (Antep) Turkey with us when we visited ANTEP FOR THE FIRST TIME! If you thought Turkish food in Istanbul was incredible, you haven’t experienced anything until you make it to the TURKISH FOOD and BAKLAVA HEAVEN OF GAZIANTEP. On this Gaziantep Turkey Food Tour we are going to try some insanely delicious Turkish street food as well as some of the most UNIQUE TURKISH food to showcase why Turkish cuisine and in particular Gaziantep Food is the BEST!
We wanted to visit Gaziantep, Turkey for the longest time as it is known as the kitchen of the world and its is a UNESCO recognized creative city with insanely delicious food everywhere you look at very affordable prices.
Gaziantep is the home of some world famous Turkish foods like Turkish baklava as well as local unique (and delicious) foods like katmer, beyran çorbası and Ali nazik kebab as we showcased 24 of the best ones you MUST TRY (yes 24!) on this GOD LEVEL STREET FOOD TOUR in Gaziantep Turkey!

Gained some weight just watching this! Brought back some great memories of Antep. İmam Çağdaş is so good that we went twice! Especially loved the Ali Nazik kebab

My mother is from antep and my late father was from Urfa so I grew up eating the best foods imaginable. Every time I visit gazi Antep in one week I’ll put on minimum 5 kilograms, the food is sooo good.

ciger is one of our top thing to eat when in Gaziantep, we always look for it around the country, but we read about how good they are there and for breakfast. Can't wait!! We need to try your moms too hahaha, just invited ourselves

If I ever go to Turkey again, I am going to follow this food guide to the T - it all looks so good. I especially would want to sample the baklava, the lamb, and ali nazek kebab. I really like how you describe everything and show how to put it together and eat it in the traditional way. I've never had liver cubes before - but I'd give them a try!

Chickpeas and pistachio everywhere it was awesome. It truly was incredible how many different foods they could make with a handful of ingredients!
I'm actually going to google recipes now to see if I can try and make something similar to that chickpea wrap (although obviously it won't be as good, haha). So many amazing dishes I haven't heard of before, great video guys!

Hi there! We filmed this video in the beginning of spring but we didn't want to post it until now as this was a big project for us and took a long time to edit! Turkey is fairly warm and nice right now, you can bring your light jackets for the evenings though. Have a safe flight and enjoy Turkey (we are also from New York😊)

Oh my goodness you two, you ate soo much delicious looking food 🙌 I cant remember the names of the foods I would be most excited to try. Skylar would definitely want to try the spicy dishes and I would love trying everything with pistachio. We recently had pistachio pizza for the first time and it was way better than we expected. We have also tried pistachio coffee..but I have a feeling it wasn't near as great as the pistachio coffee you tried. And how cute to have coffee in a cave 😍
Haha, honestly we had to write them all down as we were trying them because a good amount I never tried before either! That pistachio pizza did look super delicious you guys tried and we are now on the look out for one ourselves! So many unique spots and food in Gaziantep, we were so glad to have went and met so many friendly locals!

The pistachio & sugar pastry for breakfast looks amazing but not so sure about spicy soup to start the day🥵 So fun watching them make all the food in the kitchen.
Day two breakfast looked tasty (bonus that they did veggie😋), I don’t know how you guys managed all this food though with lunch as well at the art place.
Loved watching the baclava being made, Craig loves baclava I had no idea there were so many variations!

We usually try to include prices, but a lot of the restaurants we visited gave us a discount or some of the items on the house (we did not ask for it, but they offered it as a nice gesture), so we did not get to see the full prices for a lot of the food. Gökçes best friends are not aware of traditional Antep food! İmam Çağdaş is one of the best in Antep but for lahmacun you had to visit ÇITIR LAHMACUN at Yeşilsu!
Imam Çagdas was phenomenal, agreed!! We visited there in this video and had Ali Nazik. It was amazing 😍
İf you were in Antep, not visited Güllüoğlu in Bakırcılar Çarşısı, you definately did not eat baklava!!!
For baklava, everyone we spoke to in Antep had a different suggestion and Kocaklar was kind enough to open their kitchen to us! 😉
You go to Antep but no visit to Tahmiz Cafe?!? Better change those local friends who are definately not locals of Antep!
