Gained some weight just watching this! Brought back some great memories of Antep. İmam Çağdaş is so good that we went twice! Especially loved the Ali Nazik kebab
Hahaha we both gained a lot of weight after this trip 🤣 still trying to lose the extra pounds lol Ali Nazik kebab was out of this world! Imam Cagdas is an incredible restaurant indeed!
Welcome back guys! You had me at Baklava! You guys don’t mess around with food. Have missed your video guys. Ao cool you had the chef give you the food tour. Just like Gokce, Melissa loves Olives. The editing here was perfect! Love the use of J cuts and B roll. What a cool museum. You guys are big time with the VIP treatment. I have never heard most of the food you both introduced. I am all about the Baklava tour, that’s a complete operation. What! A Kabob taste testing. This video was 25 min but felt like 3 min. Great job guys. Way to end at a coffee in a cave!
Thanks so much Carl, sorry we've been MIA but glad to finally get a new one out! We've really come to appreciate having great food at every place we visit and Gaziantep really took it to another level. The food was incredible and the people were so kind. In Turkey, Gokce is the secret weapon of course, but we find if you show a genuine interest and kindness anywhere in the world, people will go above and beyond to showcase their own food and culture. Hopefully you can make it to Turkey soon and we can do a baklava tour together! ;)
ciger is one of our top thing to eat when in Gaziantep, we always look for it around the country, but we read about how good they are there and for breakfast. Can't wait!! We need to try your moms too hahaha, just invited ourselves
Haha you two are definitely welcome to come when you're back on the Aegean side! We were definitely very thankful to find a great spot to go later on in the day, we are not 5am people ;)
We were driving to Gaziantep up until yesterday but we had to detour...we are going to have to wait to enjoy this jewel..in the meantime we will eat through your video!
@@TravelInteresante Thanks for showing all d delicious food n dessert esp d one with pistachios. Thousands of thanks for your very kind offer, will keep that in my mind. 😁
If I ever go to Turkey again, I am going to follow this food guide to the T - it all looks so good. I especially would want to sample the baklava, the lamb, and ali nazek kebab. I really like how you describe everything and show how to put it together and eat it in the traditional way. I've never had liver cubes before - but I'd give them a try!
Thanks so much! It was so hard to edit as we kept getting hungry and took too many breaks :) We would love to take you around in Turkey and re-introduce all of them in person! 😍
Nohut durum is going to be my new favorite food then! That looks wonderful That icli kofte looks awesome, love how long it is, more icli kofte for me! yay!! I love how many chickpeas they eat in Gaziantep as it is my favorite food of all times
I'm actually going to google recipes now to see if I can try and make something similar to that chickpea wrap (although obviously it won't be as good, haha). So many amazing dishes I haven't heard of before, great video guys!
Aww, thanks so much! Hopefully you can get it close enough, but if not, perhaps you can find some time in the not too distant future to visit Gaziantep!
@@TravelInteresante That would be great! (Did actually make a chickpea flatbread wrap for a friend who came over lunch today so thanks for the inspiration, haha!)

Food tour videos is good but you guys forgot something 🤠......the prices. it's really important to add that too don't forget in the next video about that☺️
We usually try to include prices, but a lot of the restaurants we visited gave us a discount or some of the items on the house (we did not ask for it, but they offered it as a nice gesture), so we did not get to see the full prices for a lot of the food. Thanks so much for watching and glad you enjoyed it!
