you have been such an inspiration for my new home. I really believed that I had to buy everything new and off the storeroom floor but you have taught me to look at something old and to make it new again!
Hi I love your work! Why do you use the citrus stripper instead of sanding? For this project did you also use the stripper on the entire dresser/all surfaces.
Yes! Yes! Yes! I also want to learn some construction and redesigning! You don't see too many black girls do that ( I want to build a tiny house someday) this is so inspiring and educational. Thank you for uploading!! ☺️☺️
you are seriously the smartest and most informed diy-er on this platform i have come across so far! absolutely loved this video and will definitely use it for future reference.
Well done, April. You knocked this one out of the park. You should change the name of your channel to April "Worker" Bee. HA! You put a lot of love & effort into your makeovers. I'm looking forward to watching more. ♡
Been watching your diy makeovers for a while now. You never disappoint. I love building and fixing things. And to find other women that does the same. Love, love it!! Keep it up love.
I love your videos because you give such good detail to what you are doing as to brands and sandpaper grit etc. and your filming of the video is so watchable as to the angles you shoot.
Awesome job!! Watching this refinish and others has inspired me to start building and refinishing furniture.... something I've wanted to start again since high school!
Loved this makeover, and I would love to see a video breaking down the basics of upcycling a dresser. You got do a whole series on how you choose each different furniture piece to upcycle, where you get them from and then give us the basic knowledge so we can do it too! ❤️
Lovely projects as always and you have really given me the inspiration to go into my garage and refurbish and remodel so many things I know I could possibly make a little money off for. I got a dining room table, chairs, and an armoire that are literally collecting spider webs and dust. I think it is great you have turned this into a lucrative business and you have chosen to share your passion with your subscribers and viewers. It is great that majority of the comments are positive and so are the thumbs-up. It is rather petty for anyone, in my opinion, to offer up a thumbs-down (12) when it comes to someone's dream, goal, passion, or endeavor. Also congrats on the number of subscribers (292,919), you are blowing up girlfriend!
im so glad i found this channel...omg i love watching your furniture makeovers...you make it look so easy and the finished products look great!! keep up the good work!!
I be looking for a small dresser or even just a four drawer stand to fit in one of my smallest rooms and everything never the right color. These diys giving me hope I could hit up the peddlers ball and make something of the quality I'm looking for without a lot of money. And that looks beautiful I was unsure at first where u was going with it but wow it looked amazing as the outcome.
Excellent video!! Thank you for your hard work.. I have this two-tone idea for my bedroom furniture that was my grandparents. Paint the body white and leave the drawer fronts as is. It will be beautiful, I hope. You did a great job!!
amazing work... You have really inspired me to go to the thrift store or hotel store to find a piece so I can get my daughter a dresser so I can try it out... Thank you much!!
Can you do a video telling us what products you recommend or use when your doing your furniture makeovers or step by step guide I found your channel and I love your vids it would be helpful on what I need to buy to try and start making things on my own can't wait for another video!
can you do a video on detailed tips that you use to refurbish the furniture. like what tools you use products and paints you recommend, how you correctly take measurements to when buying wood or glass pieces for your makeovers. I really enjoy watching you vids to make projects on my own. thanks again God bless
This is UH-mazing! I just discovered you via a Pinterest link for the mirror dresser (which I plan to try). I love that you don’t assume we know anything (because I don’t, lol). I’m new to DIY and your explanations of what each product does is so helpful - thank you! Xoxo PS: I showed this to my 9 yr old daughter and she was wow’ed too. I love that she begins to feel empowered and like she too can do stuff like this. 💜
Lovely! Wonderful video layout. Your voice is soothing and easy to follow, especially while I'm taking notes. The pace is perfect, and the camera work is really consistent and stable. And of course, your design aesthetic is superb. Thanks! Will subscribe and watch more for sure!
