I love that you left the planks of wood NATURAL. This piece looks gorgeous!!! I have so much furniture from Yard Sale Hauls that I need to refinish... getting ready for the leap! Thanks for the inspiration. New subscriber :) Have a great 4th.
I have been trying to find a way to refurbish an old dresser into a buffet/side table. Thank you for sharing your great idea. I am inspired to create one of my own.
Finally, a video of transforming old furniture into a new beautiful piece, that looked so simple that even I could it! Thaaank you❤️ some videos get me so overwhelmed lol
Wow Beautiful. I am going to try to do this. I am so glad that your hubby showed how he took it apart, which is very important for a newbie like myself Thank you. You guys are a great Team.

Very nice and I love the brick walls and wood floors. Is this house a restoration house? Trying to figure out how you have brick walls on interior walls
Thank you Dianna. We bought the house a little over a year and it was already like this. The living room was an addition to the house so most the back part of my house has brick interiors, including my dining room and sunroom. Which I love💕
Looks beautiful, I think you could stain the wood you put down. Two coats of dark walnut stain. Each coat you have to put it and wipe it off. I turnd out great. Good job!

Great! Trust me ours by no means is it perfect, but it turned out beautiful...I will keep my fingers crossed for you... good luck, I know it will do great!💖
I'm all about your amazing brick walls! They're incredible! I turned my old dresser, from when I was a child, into a doll house for my daughter. Well, she is grown now but I have always wanted to do another. This is the perfect idea! The drawers in her dressers are broken and she doesn't want them anymore. I don't want to get rid of them because the dressers are beautiful and vintage as they were her great grandmother's dressers. However, the drawers smell old and with them being broken, now I can brainstorm with improving them and making them functional again!
You should have seen the walls before we white washed them, my living room looked like a dark cave.. but I absolutely love them now. You should totally tackle that project, sounds like fun to me!💞
I just had to sub to your channel it reall inspires and motivates me thank you for such beautiful ideas, its so funny because im currently working on some dresser ive purchase myself off offerup and let go and they are in great conditions so i had decided back two months ago to go to home depot and purchase the bundle with the drill and everything included and a sander i also purchased a miter saw i am just so excited to have bumped into your channel because now more then ever i am motivated to put my tools to use. Thank you so much😉💞👍
Oh gosh, your words mean so much to me. At times I get discouraged and doubt myself as we all humans do, but when I read beautiful and encouraging comments like yours really help me to keep doing what I'm doing. Thank you soo much and I can't wait to see what you come up with with your new projects. Of course welcome to the family!!!💕
I love how this turned out so much ! I wish I had someone that could do the work your husband did for you for me plus garage to do it in,lol. I’m starting over and just have a room I’m renting now . I hope to get my own place to rent some day soon ! I have a dresser that drawers are broke . Your video was a great inspiration ,thank you
It turned out great! I also like the raw pallet color. I’m also glad you showed how it looked after first coat and then second. Shows expectations and not to get frustrated. Ive seen a lot get sprayers but I’m not tempted to do that. I’m not doing volume making anyway. Also women shouldn’t be afraid of power tools. Or any tool. My ex destroyed my previous house and never put it back together. So i was forced to learn to do some things.
Thank you so much... I promise I will slowly put the "being a chicken" behind and actually try some of the tools myself... You story about your ex sounds terrible...💕
I love that brick wall! We have a brick wall in our kitchen! This project is perfect for a dresser that is missing a drawer! People often give away dressers with broken/missing drawers.
Thank you so much!!! I totally agree with you. I just love how an old furniture piece can look so completely different with some paint and a little imagination... 💕
I just LOVE what you did with an old dresser!!! It looks like a high-end piece. I actually have an old dresser I could do this with. All I need now is a handy husband. Thanks for sharing!!!

Isn’t that paint made for walls? Won’t it peel since it isn’t cabinet paint?
It hasn’t at all, and I’ve had it for years. I think as long as you sand it before you paint it won’t peel! I honestly paint most of my furniture with wall paint and none of them have peeled...
Are you painting over poly or varnish or did you strip all of this off before you began?
We sanded some of the varnish off. I didn't have a sander then and it got kind of tiring to try to remove all so there was still some left. Still the paint adhered really well and haven't had any peeling or flaking...🙂
Why didn't you paint the inside bottom of dresser considering that area is exposed and lite up?
I honestly didn't think about it... thank you for the suggestion!😊
looks great. did you apply something to stop the knotty pine from bleeding through before you painted it? Was just curious what you used. Thanks
Thank you Edward Leto! We didn't apply anything, but I have heard people having that issue but we didn't.🙂
It looks amazing, glad you didn't paint in the bottom.
Thank you Jacqueline!💗
